At this point in technology, we all know and are aware that a lot of these simple little issues can be fixed with a few minor coding adjustments. Glad to see this being brought into light as i am one of the founder(i am crescent from twitter)and it was randomly found as i just ordered a plate on a nightshark that had the last rugged snowflake wheel and it just painted my stock wheel on it so yeah randomly found by me and glad its being brought to light :D

Just wanted to say thanks Ghillie, I wouldn't have been aware of this if you didn't make a video, and thanks for crediting your sources, that's honorable. Just worked for me on PS4 today, Apr 28. I accepted the custom plate order for $3k and it immediately reverted my wheels to the stock ones, painted black. Debating on trying some other colors now.
To have it show up in recent driven vehicles, you need to drive it out of whatever garage it's stored in, NOT have it delivered by the machanic. This has worked for me everytime.
Do you just refresh the website or close it completely and re-open it? Also, are you on mobile or looking at the website on a desktop?
i just had my elegy delivered by my mechanic, it depends on what slot you put it in. I did slot 1 Del Perro 4
It ain't working for me... I've been trying to get the damn site to register my Drift Futo GTX or the Corsita that I just got from the podium to appear but it still refuses to cooperate!...
@@NatureXwars Drive your vehicle around for about 10 mins in game (public or solo) Drive into a garage you own. Set spawn location to "Last Location". Leave your garage on foot. Once outside, find a new session (again, public or solo) When you spawn back in, walk into your garage and drive the vehicle you want out. It should now register.
@@Sabitar1 I completely close it out. I've done it from my iPhone's browser and from my laptop and it worked on both. If you see the reply I sent to @NatureXwars... I explained how I got it to work for me👍

I believe to fix the list of recently driven vehicles you can make one of the original GTA V cars your personal vehicle and drive it around for a while. One you can steal off the street would be best, Felon GT, original Buffalo, original Gauntlet, etc

If i do color stock rim but make sure custom & last location at car meet make it ez. 1) choose any rim 2) choose color 3) choose back stock rim 4) go to storymode 5) go back to online private session

On PC its really easy. You just buy any rims, paint them and go back to stock ones, jump into Story mode and back Online, painted stock rims.
I don't wanna hear y'all bragging about this PC-exclusive method again. I never understand why the PC version of the game gets this simple workaround in the first place, it's so unfair to players on consoles!

I wish Classique would elaborate some more on the car placement theory, apparently that’s what makes your vehicle show up on the license plate creator. I’m pretty sure everyone doing this will come across a handful of vehicles that refuse to show up for whatever reason.
I cant get the Weaponized Ignus to show up no matter what I do
Greetings. Allow me to elaborate, as requested. As we know, the plate orders are old reused iFruit orders, which is the reason this stock wheel trick works. Back then, iFruit was only supposed to work on 10 vehicles; technically, it went from 0 to 9, and was entirely dependent on garage that had a maximum of 10 vehicle slots. iFruit started to see some malfunctions after the addition of the 20 car office garages; the first 10 car slots in one office garage worked with iFruit, while the 10 other car slots in there didn't, which I will refer to "cursed" slots here. This wouldn't be that big of an issue in on its own, but here's the catch; the last 10 slots would stick to the *car*, and not the garage. Therefore, the cars that were purchased on slot 11-20 would not show up in iFruit, as it wasn't programmed to handle that. And since this "curse" sticks to the car, it will also move along with the car when you transfer it to a regular 10 car garage. Example: you have a regular 10 car garage and one office garage, where all car slots are occupied with a vehicle. If you move the 11th vehicle from the office garage to the regular 10 car garage, and replaced it with a random car in there, you will move a "working" slot into your office garage, and a "cursed" slot into the 10 car garage. This essentially means that if you've swapped cars around at any point in your GTAO career, you've likely moved the "cursed" slot around as well. And this definitely has not made it any better with the addition of the Vinewood Club Garage with 100 vehicle slots... It is impossible to know which slots work and which ones don't without bruteforcing it. Keep in mind that some vehicles are allowed to be stored on "working" slots, but they will not show up in the License Plate Editor; all Arena War vehicles and special Facility vehicles are some examples. If you wish to "fix" a car to allow it to show up in the License Plate Editor, I have a recommendation which I personally use; 1. Let your friend purchase the vehicle you want to make available in the License Plate Editor inside the LSCM. 2. Store 10 Elegy RH8s in any random garage, in any random place, but make sure the garage is full. 3. Drive or call out the first Elegy RH8 from the garage, exit it, change your outfit to force a Social Club save, then drive/return it into the garage again. If this Elegy RH8 doesn't show up in the License Plate Editor after two minutes, then you know that slot which the Elegy RH8 is stored on does not work. 4. Repeat this process until an Elegy RH8 shows up in the editor. Once it does, you can buy the vehicle back from your friend and replace it. 5. Your freshly bought vehicle should now show up in the License Plate Editor.

So no matter how much I drive a car, the list doesn't update on the website. And of the cars I do have on the list, only one actually gets the notification in-game for the plate. And that one car that does get the notification (Buffalo STX), when it reverts to the stock wheels, it reverts to the stock color as well, not the black color I selected with the off-road wheels. F me I guess.
The list is bugged, and also if the stock rims are chrome the colour cannot be changed
Same here.... This method has been 100% uncooperative so far for the vehicles that I do want to change their stock rim colours. Until cockstar finally allows us to do so officially after so many years, it is as good as dead for me....
Finally. New customization options discovered (for now)
For me, the leaving the Online after changing the color of the rim and putting it back to stock, and then getting back online still works.
For the divo it’s a must
The thing is the feature is already in the game. Lowrider stock wheels can be painted. Hell, the Jester Racecar stocks can be painted within the game as well!
Do I have to do it in the LS car meet or can it be anywhere? Edit: I worked for me I'm on old Gen and just in case I did it in the LS car meet

Completely unrelated question but is there any way you can access the Tactical SMG without the gun van? I really want to remove the suppressor on mine. You'd think it would be in your agency once purchased, but it's nowhere to be seen. Gotta say this whole gun van exclusivity system wasn't a good idea. You gotta wait until the weapon you want becomes available just to apply attachments and tints. It's a real pain in the ass.
Some cars you cant put plates on like you could on the ifruit days its definitely a bug even some newer rides you cant change the plates period, even if you add new plates to your account they dont show in game "for me at least" only the ones I specifically picked it for and can never change them from all the custom plates like I can for all my other cars

The way I get certain cars on my recently driven list is just drive said vehicle out of a garage, not call the mechanic, then do it 9 more times as long as it's a vehicle with a visible license plate and can have a custom license plate. It sucks that certain cars cannot have a custom license plate.
Anyone knows how to fix problem of cars not showing up in recent driven cars list? I have tried calling the mechanic, driving out the car from the garage where it is stored in, doing it even 9 times but nothing seems to work. One of my bugged car is the Torero XO 😢

I'd like to be able to fit custom tyres to stock rims. Could this be done too?
I’m unsure if this is a glitch and I would like someone else to try, but I tried this with 2 plates for the Omaggio with the rugged snowflake rims in basic black and the stocks are still alloy but I have also tried this with another car (Lampadati Corsita) and the stock wheels turned black Edit: tried for a 3rd time, no luck. Maybe some cars don’t work

My vehicle list only updates if I change something that forces the game to save. The ZR380 and 8F are the only cars I would like to use this on but I doubt they will show up in the list.

Not 100 percent sure but it seems as though if you own any type of modded car, (Benny's or F1's) it won't work. I can only create plates on my 2nd account. I can then add them on my cars for my 1st account. Now gotta figure out how to do this....

It says its ready at the mod shop but it doesn't let me equip the mods because it just thinks it doesn't have an order when i enter the mod shop, so rockstar already "fixes" aka brakes something that little to nobody knows about but bugs that everyone knows about doesn't get fixed, guess they dont want coloured stock rims oh no thats game changing and harmful to others 😅😂

Sadly that don't work on chrome stock rims like the stx, e-gt where the stock rims are leterally the best. Rockstar need to add that

Umm this doesnt work on cars with chrome rims, even vaguely chrome rims, as I tried it on the Torrero, the old OG one, which has a painted center, the buffalo GTX, and the Dominator GTT, all it does is leave the color where it was when you switch it back to the rims you had on it, best guess they played around with allowing us to paint stock rims on certain cars at some point, but didnt figure it worth it to go back and do that for all of them, so this is not a fix all, and will only work on certain cars, as I was all set to finally be able to paint those rims on the buffalo so it looks good and doesnt look like your walking around with Flavor Flay's Necklace as your wheels especially given on certain cars, going away from the stock wheels, slows the car down so your stuck with them and I get the feeling the audi R8 was ment to have the choice to paint the rims like the C10, hence why it worked there, but not here for the three cars I tried it out on.
