I love at the beginning when they are felling the tree, the one guy is dressed like a spokesman for Stihl and has all the safety gear while his buddy’s got nothing protective and looks like he was just cutting grass or something.
well Stihl guy is working whit chainsaw,...
😂
@@marianmarkovic5881 but none of them are wearing eye protection... the helper isn't wearing any protection at all... and gets his face right next to the place where the tree can decapitate him if something goes wrong... these guys are really just fucking dangerous...
Think the saw operator was a young woman.
Plus the saw operator is swinging that saw around awfully fast!
First time EVER seening someone using a hydraulic jack with a power saw??????????
Cool machinery thank you for sharing
What a helper, har! No eye protection, no ear protection, working directly behind the saw blade 1:57 ? Andy Capp, yep, an "instructional video" all right on how not too...
Impressive! My grandfather was an Oregon logger 100 yrs ago. He would have been amazed by these machines.
The 'EINSTEIN' without safety gear on when near the chainsaw in the first clip is the BEST. HA
Hé is a Lucky man...
Wow. This is the perfect example of teamwork! I am completely fascinated by watching this!
The kudos go to the engineers who design and build each of these machines just amazing !
Desde CUBA 👏👏👏👏👏😮😮😮😮😮 increíble. Muy bien. Felicitaciones.
Imagine when people used to do this by hand, Massive respect to all the loggers from the past!
My Father still splits 7 or 8 large logs per day by hand with an axe. Keeps him fit and strong and healthy at 80 years old. So if you want a way to improve your health this is one option.
Plenty of people still split firewood by hand. lol
That was almost hypnotic watching the machines. Wow very cool.

Yes, very pleasing to watch!
@@3rr0rid10t 😊🤝👍👍👍
Ah a real tradesman at his trade. It’s not about cutting a notch then cutting the other side. Then the cool tools, the tractor splitter splitting 4 ft pices, pretty impressive, then they top it with the 8 ft splitter, then the chipper, kept getting better. Sweet what can be done with ingenuity, little hydraulic oil, some hose and pistons, skys the limit.
That quartering press is oddly satisfying. Or unsettling, depending on you.
Why are the cover photos that start your video always misleading and photoshopped? Your channels good enough without doing this
I think a lot of channels do this kind of thing to avoid copyright claims.
Awesome machinery! I'll bet the oldtime loggers here in WA/OR from the 19-20th century would be totally amazed to see these beasts!
This machine is a Lein made in Saxony :D
Unbeliable you are using those beautiful big trees for firewood over there...They would make great timber in Sweden.
That tree trunk that got thrown into that insane woodchipper at 8min was awesome
The engineers would build these things must have so much fun.
Liked the old multiblade pitsaw!

It's funny how I didn't know I needed to know about this. Thanks KZhead!
I need those first two boys at my house ASAP!
And I thought this was going to be boring. Cool video!
These machines are awesome!
This one here is older than 70 years. "Gebrüder Lein" from Pirna, founded in 1885, expropriation in 1948: 4:03
@@iansoutryer3189 😊😊👍
I just love that old sawmill 🙂
No safety glasses were injured in the making of this video apparently... 😒
Or hearing protection 😅
😆
watching a chainsaw make plunge cuts still is like pure magic to me. I just love it.
Shout out to those super reliable Stihl cutting machines.
3:20 a 1950 Gatter Lein Pirna saw mill is "modern wood cutting machine" .. LOL???
Great technology
I feel like that dude was taking a big chance pushing that log with his balls.
Great and well maintained machine + extremely skilled operator= the best possible combo

Any thoughts of your own, or we just gonna stay in zombie mode?
Without skill and know-how, everything to do with processing that lumber, from forest to finished firewood/boards, is hazardous to your health. A million ways to get all or part of you squashed!
@@harrymills2770 hii sir 🙏🤝🤝
Hydraulics are truley amazing
Impressive wood chopping tech!
Very impressive
@@kennethrumple494 i2ij to be a
I think it would be interesting to have a box shaped blade for those hydraulic splitters that way you can get a probably pretty useful piece of wood out of the firewood that you're cutting
I'd like to see these machines tackle Australian Hardwoods
I was impressed when I saw a slicer do the same thing to core an apple.
That machine probably gobbles some serious power, looks like it's making some nice lumber though. That log slitter, I need one
مشاء الله تقنيه جديده
I love it amazing job thanks for sharing
The wood on the orange and green machine looks too good for firewood
There are some great firewood processors out there, but if they really want to impress me, they need to build a machine that STACKS the firewood after it's all split.
Never saw a bottle jack used like that, very clever
Absolutely love the machine at 5:41... a must have for anyone with a firewood business.
good luck finding hardwood big enough for that machine... cool machine, but I wonder how practical
Agreed. However, I live in NM so, it's all pine of some sort. Sadly.
Looked like the machine was having firewood diarrhea
I live in the Ozarks in North Central Arkansas. I could do with a machine like that and affordable firewood for sale. We have big trees like that around here and had about four taken down around our house, but couldn't afford to get them cut up for fire wood. We got left with one big log and no way to cut it into fire wood. So it is just sitting there. We really need it cut, but pandemic made everything too expensive. Including buying extra firewood, or having wood cut and brought down from higher up our half a mountain for this year. Ran out of aged firewood and now using enviro logs to try to keep house above 50F, but not enough for over night.
@@RavenSaint1 amazing beautiful part of the country, guess you would have some big trees there, try not to cut them all down.
This is like any work site. One person doing all the work. A couple of guys standing around and a supervisor supervising.
Fantastic! Nothing is wasted... except for the tree itself.
We like the John Deer cut and split.. awesome set up... We would like to own one, where can we order one ? Thank you for sharing your video with us...
The 1st machine looks ancient! My family cuts up wood with the classic buzz saw on front of a 1935 John Deere
That’s a bad man on that chainsaw!🏆
That is some hell of a chipper at 7:50, first one I've seen take a log that size and reduce it to mere chips. Took a little while, but....
I think we've all stuck to much food in our mouths and been in a similar situation.
I’ve seen machines like this clear a wood lot in 24 hrs and turn it into a moonscape. Sad really. They call it progress.
i would love to meet the man that sharpens your chains , serious edge
Good times right there!
The ingenuity of men never seizes to amaze me. Men truly build the world and our entire civilization. They deserve more credit.
especially when they want to get vaccinated you against your will and/or under blackmail ! THE SAME = =

Ceases? I don't think they were having seizures.
Хорошая технология валки дерева ! 😊
I want the big green one ... I'm going to see if they got one at Home Depot!

Gary, LOL, yes it’s in Isle 8 right side half way down!
@@shorelinewildlife4258 I looked for it today, they were out of stock. They were next to the metric pipe wrenches .
You mean True Warp Lumber Company DBA Home Depot?
It was a Posch 650. They have a smaller version with the same automatic wood splitter. Excellent.
Wished we had a log splitter when I was younger.we had to do it the hard way.
You got warm twice!!
I'm so in love with the red wood splitter.❤️🤪❤️
Hello friend 😊🤝
Green splitter (Posch).
This is some cool video. Anyway, I like the music that comes on at around 7 minutes into the video. What kind of music is that?
Just some harmonics. 😃
c est tourné ou ??? au canada ???? wouah quelles machines surpuissantes !! j avais jamais vu ca !!!!!!! bravo !!!
in the first video now that's what you call a man of Stihl, superman ain't got nothing on him.
The method used with the jack is by far the best to cut down a tree in the direction you want it to go.
This is awesome!!
Amazing machines, i could watch all day.
Top 👍
I have No logs....yet somehow i feel i need a wood splitter in my life !
Hello there
Love soundtrack at the end 15:22
It’s 2am and for some reason your thoroughly enjoying this.
Oddly satisfying. Some tough units at work.
The logging scene of trees is amazing.
Hii friend
That redhead dude is reeeeeaaaaaaal trusting of that not kicking back in his face. I only cUT wood by myself. Don't need anyone else getting hurt
yeah a wee bit to close and to comfortable one little mistake its all over .. not worth it
Hypnotizing !!!
It took decades to grow and a few minutes to cut down and proces.👍👏👏👏

Efficient work to be sure.
Normally they use species that grow pretty fast and only take 10 years or so to mature, especially when the quality of the wood isn’t too important. In the right conditions some trees can grow up to 2 metres a year or more. So is very likely none of the trees you saw in this video were more than a decade old.
Lots of hard work .....But it keeps you warm in the winter...
Wow that machine at 6:44 is amazing how it split would loggs
Amazing!
I guess there is a reason why you don'd see the "push" type log splitters much in Australia. Most of our forests are hardwood, knotty and forked with twisted grain and I suspect a single Redgum log would jam up one of those machines for hours as they tried to get it back out. Great for their intended target but not so much for down under :-)
When I see red gum down under I run the other way.
Awesome efficient wood working machines
The workers are skilled ang the technique is great.
I like the Lein-Pierna gang saw saw dust that can be compressed into fuel pellets or for animal bedding while you get cut wood for the barn, and can have a nice side business too.
I could watch this for hours.
wow that saw machine is AWSOME.when was it made works great well done.
very cool machines
Now those men weren't messing around for sure. Never seen that before.
so you use heavy machinery om petrol to create fire wood??? You're brilliant mate!!
Great vid!
If you'd kindly tell me where the machines at 3:00 and 8:00 are located so I can promptly move as far away from them as possible, I'd appreciate it ❤
Trees are living things...
Thanks for great sharing :) Like for you :) Have a great day
I would love to get a few load fulls of that fire wood before Easter. Hell right now would be awesome. Been cold enough I've gone through all of my aged wood and had to start into this year's fresh cut wood. No one in my area has aged wood to sell now. This is what happens when too hurt and sick to get enough wood for the winter during a pandemic. Have ended up getting Enviro logs for my wood burning stove, and still cannot keep house above 50F for over night.
What plandemic do you mean?
3:02... Wow... just how old is that machine?
The company of the Lein brothers in Pirna/Germany was dismantled in 1945/1946. Therefore, the machine must be from the time before World War II.
love it, he has the helmet, but obviously does not appreciate his eyes
That big red splitter sure would put the axe company out of business.....wish I had one when I was growing up on the farm.......:)
That guy using the claw at 9 min is skilled!!
Excellent video. Lots of moving parts to be lubed on a daily basis.
wow amazing machines this is my first time seeing it
Always wanted to know how gas station firewood was cut
Sometimes I wonder if trees never developed an ability to feel pain because most other species use them as free building materials.
Très dengereux la façon ilent travailent
Someone NEEDS to incorporate those machines into the greatest horror movie of all time...
