We took out the entire vintage Benz fleet from the Benz Stadium and rearranged it to make the cars more accessible. These vintage Mercedes need to be driven, but that wasn't a possibility with the previous setup. Now they're all in rows, so we only need to move 5 or 6 cars to get any single car. A few days after, we spoke with our friend Raj who found a 190E EVO II for us with a crazy story. The car was abandoned and sent to be scrapped, but a guy saw it en route and bought it for £50 20 years ago! Now the car is making it's way to it's rightful home at the Patina Collective.

Benz culture runs deep in our blood and we aim to share with you all our passion, knowledge, and dedication to keeping these widebody cars alive. This is more than a car collection for us - more than a vintage Mercedes collection - it is a preservation of global cultural history!

  • The Halloween Patina Car show looked incredible - The biggest & best to ever do it! The 190e Koenig looks much better, another successful rescue mission 💎- Also the Evo II story is wild, Congrats to the owner for chasing it down on the highway before it got scrapped, I enjoy hearing the story about the owners as much as I do about the cars.   • In the Mercedes owners manual is written that its not recommended to start the cars with a 'starter', because of its electronics (i was reading that in my ex W220 and C215 owner manual), so you better start your cars with cable with another car and avoid to get some electronics a dammage.

  • Parking them for that long is damn near a death sentence. Blocky tires from not moving And if they put fuel with any ethanol in it then all The pumps and lines are gonna be damaged from fuel degradation… also tanks them selves being clogged and damaged You can hear some of the chugging… 😢 Im glad they are finally being moved even for just a bit I can’t tell from the camera but you can get a lot of those swirls and scratches removed with hand polish then hand wax. Compound with buffing is something I’d avoid if this is the original paint but would probably also work depending on the situation (again can’t tell from the camera angle) Sounds like I’m hating on the video. Im not. Im impressed and it’s really cool just sad no one is enjoy them…

  • I have my own 190E and its a 1/1 in the world. long story short it was the duplicate of the Mercedes Benz factory owner in berlin. thanks to his friendship with my grandpa. he got a duplicate of his custom made 190E. :D not for sale though its in the middle east
