To Seth and the Late Night team: Life has been tough lately and I'm sure anyone could guess why by just drawing random but expected reasons out of a hat. But you and your team bring 10-20ish minutes of informative and humorous content most weekdays that I can watch and I just have to say thank you. To all of you. You don't show the absolute depression that today's America holds and instead make it something worth enjoying. This show will be something I watch or remember warmly for the rest of my life.
I second that!
I hope he sees or know this is how so much of us feel. Him and his team are appreciated.
What a kind comment.😊
I share the same feeling, really hope they see this and react to it
Seth's Shirts have been on point all quarantine. Shoutout to his Wife.
Idk why but Seth saying we love you almost every show during this whole pandemic has really hit different and I hope he knows that

I’ve been out of work for almost a year and have an 11 yr old son that looks to me for guidance and basically how to deal with life. Thank you Seth and your team for providing light and truth through this darkest winter, I am still able to laugh and in turn share that joy with my son and my 79 yr old mom, who just received her second vaccine. One step at a time. Peace.
There isn’t going to be a hard line between “not normal” and “normal”. We will see slow improvement over time and different people will perceive “normal” differently.
but if you do the work, then you get a clear cut "normal" back. I don't think anyone in Australia is questioning that life here is basically back to normal, for Sydney it feels like there was a "hard line" & once we hit 26 days without a case & the state borders opened up to us & the 28 day official elimination became just a formality, everything flipped into normal mode :) Masks came off, social distancing came down & normal life was back. You can get that too if you want to do the work to get there
We’re back to normal since July In Perth Western Australia! We had a 5 day hiccup but everything is normal!
@@mehere8038 yeah but things haven't been normal in america for about four years. Even when the pandemic is over, we still have to deal with the fact that for the first time since the civil war, we didn't have a peaceful transition of power. Normal went out the window a long time ago
@@mehere8038 Sadly North America lacks sound, determined leadership like Australia and New Zeeland. Where I live we completed our stay at home order two weeks ago. We still had an excess of one thousand case a day. We are going back into lock down on Monday. The leader ship doesn't have the backbone to stay the course. They continually fold to corporate and public pressure. Cheers
My life has been normal the entire time except having to wear a mask at stores and what not
For Seth Meyers and Stephen Colbert, one of my favorite parts of watching their monologues during this pandemic is their interactions with the crew and hearing them laugh in the background

James Corden has been excellent too. I know some people don't like him but his shows since the beginning of this whole thing have been top shelf.
@@AthenaGoddess yeah Corden has really shone in this pandemic somehow for me. Thought hed struggle the most due to all his sketches and interactions with the audience.
I agree but Seth hasn't brought his wife in and Evie is now a Colbert fan favorite
Yes indeed... Seth has Shoemaker and Stephen has Evie ... and it's fantastic to hear them (and the rest of their respective crews) in their natural element, getting to enjoy the comedic magic Mr. Meyers and Mr. Colbert conjure out of political tragedy. The ONE AND ONLY upside to this pandemic has been the elimination of the studio audience and the blossoming of in-jokes and flat-out absurdity. Cheers!
I know that they aren't going to see this, but I just wanted to let Seth and everyone on the Late Night team know, that this shows has truly improved my mental health. Hearing Seth say "We love you," at the end, is always extremely sobering, and I am thankful to all that y'all do to make all that's going on humorous and informative. So, thanks.
I hope they hear because me and millions more like us feel exactly the same way! 😍🤗💗

I am from Canada and I applied for jobs today in a small town in a prairie province. The wages of the job I applied for was $17/$18 hour. High school diploma only. I wish so hard you guys get $15 min wage. Can't imagine how hard it is to raise kids on $10/hr.
Hopefully no one with a $10/hr job is trying to raise kids until they find better financial footing.
Well, to be fair, you also have to look at the purchasing power of minimum wage earnings. Maybe their goods and services are already correspondingly less expensive. (I'm not SAYING that's the case -- just suggesting that you can't simply compare minimum wages alone, especially as they're in different currencies.)
Our National minimum wage is only $7.25 an hour. $15.00 an around is not enough but it’s a start! Congrats on your job!!
@@davidanderson2357. No way not in this country. We have a HUGE homeless problem for a reason. It’s despicable!!

Nothing will change at all if we do not support the Third World with the vaccination programme. Whilst 5% of the world greedily hogs 95% of the vaccines, Covid19 will continue to rage unabated. The guy who proposed herd immunity by April is clearly, literally, insane …unless he means April 2022.
It's honestly not TOO insane... if you make a couple optimistic assumptions. Right now, if we maintain our current vaccination rate, at the end of April, we'll have administered around 102 million doses of the vaccine. Add that to the 45 million who've already received at least one shot, and the presumably 20ish million who have had and recovered from COVID (a number that will, itself, increase as the process goes on.) creating antibodies, that's around 165 million people who are, if not fully immune, at least resistant. The current number estimate necessary for herd immunity is 200 million. So if you assume that our vaccine administrative capability will INCREASE over the next two months, as more healthcare workers and trained volunteers become vaccinated and capable of administering more vaccines, more facilities are open up, production chains and logistics hammered out, and as the 1 shot Johnson and Johnson vaccine gets produced, it's not impossible that by the end of April we could find ourselves in a position where we've got like, 125 million fully vaccinated, and another 100+ million partially vaccinated, which wouldn't be true herd immunity, but would be be pretty close.

Well if your normal was already being paranoiac then it will be just like before. Just go everywhere with a hazmat suit on.
Yes let's live in a bubble! That'll be good for our immune systems.
@@ThisUserHasBeenCanceled Well, I'm pretty sure I'm going to survive this pandemic. Those plans are just common sense. You are the kind of person Darwin had in mind when he came up with Natural Selection. Better hope you get reincarnated so you can get another shot at this.
You can't fool me, "Ocean Master" is just a reskin of Settlers of Catan...
Greetings from europe. Happy to see that you are finally turning this thing arround over there on the other side of the pond :)
I can’t wait to be able to go to a live concert again!
I forgot how good Seth's meandering improv is 😂
These segments are scripted. His delivery is very good though.
Thank you for posting this video .
Omg, the up dog joke made me physically chuckle. Haven’t done that in awhile for a video that wasn’t fails
Why did the Sea Captain not make an appearance during the Ocean Master game bit? Missed opportunity. #BringBackTheSeaCaptain
Why not? His attempt at a German accent couldn't have been any worse than Seth"s.
Die Kapitan Oceanisch....
After Seth has his suits again let him have like casual friday
I have a feeling all his Fridays are casual since he doesn’t do a show that day!
Not gonna lie. He has been one of my 5 man crushes during this quarantine. When Andy Samberg came on his show! Oh my!!! 😍
I vote No More Suits; at the very least, No More Ties. They are, and always have been, ridiculous looking! Who wants to see big shiny stiff fabric arrows pointing to crotches? Nearly as lewd as the Amazon logo, which almost makes me throw up every time I see it
My vote is that the only late night host allowed to wear a suit is Amber Ruffin because she blows everyone else out of the water with her style. These guys can stick with their casual clothes.
@@irishlady5051 ur correct. It don’t air on Fridays
"Hut hut EVERYONE'S MY FRIEND" 🤣😂
Seth you were close, my Toyota Tacoma is 2003 and still getting those calls.
Ahhh grandpa sounds like the sea captain. I miss him Seth.
Midway through the week! Stay healthy and stay safe everyone! It's Time For A Closer Look 👀👀👀👀👀👀👀👀👀❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️😃😃😃😃😃😃😃😃!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Wow, I really needed that!
Luv the Seth-man.
Not American, don't have a University debt anymore. But why not make it zero interest rate student loans?
Because that would make too much sense
Because it's a for profit business of the government to make money off mostly young adults.
Because money decreases in value over time
That's how it is in New Zealand
Because that was what paid for the Wall Street bailouts from the 2008 housing market crash. Then, they just "forgot" to stop it.
My parents got the vaccine! Yay!!
Congratulation, we ae getting there, hope they did well with the side effects.
Yay!!!
my mom got both shots and grandparents got the first!
My grandmother got the vaccine, unfortunately
@@apseudonym science shows drop in cases in all hospitals since the vaccine.
This was an excellent monologue ✨
The "good news" is that 45 is no longer able to launch nukes 😂
Bro. You snapped me out of an intense hyper focused obsessive skin picking when you brought up the scam warranty calls for automobiles. I have not owned or driven a car in almost fifteen years, and I'm not sure when it started, but on an almost daily to weekly basis - I get a call about my expiring vehicle warranty. *What ****ing vehicle with what warranty? I don't DRIVE.* :I
I've had my current phone number since 2016. Ever since then, I've been getting calls for someone else. It was about loan collection then now a law case. Next time I answer to a human, I'll freaking mess with them.
Normal is just a setting on my washing machine!
I have a sweatshirt with that on it!😊
I've BEEN asking that since this started!!
That "show up at your house with a board game" is a BIG MOOD
See what happens when Jared has nothing to do with it?
Missed opportunity for the Sea Captain to make a reappearance.
Always a good laugh with the impressions 😂 ..updog 😂😂😂
I do love a good AOL cd reference. I remember the days when you couldn’t go into any parking lot without seeing shards of one of those stupid blue discs.
Still loving being told to stay home. Seth's show is about the level of contact that I wanna have with anyone. Thanks Seth!
I hope they never put Seth back in a suit - I’m loving the more laid-back vibe.
Oooh got that warranty call just this morning!!
The Sea Captain!! on the Ocean Master!!
