The kitty choose to sleep and rest next to this swing while feeding on a deer kill nearby. After two days she discovers it moves then proceeds to play with it before lying back down to sleep some more.
After feeding, sleeping and resting here for four days he gets displaced by bears.

A cat is just a little tiger that lives in your house.
yep, I call mine little house Panthers
Couldn't agree more!

This video is more proof we can stop saying "tigers" only but ok lol
@MissCellanious1 take a tigers meow and make it higher pitch and it sounds like a cat, lower the pitch of a cat's meow and it's a tiger.
The surprise on her face when she discovered that it moved was priceless!!
He remembered his childhood!
Just like all house cats think they are big cats, all big cats think they are house cats. 😂
She's like: "Wait.. What?"
@@MsSemki it moves????? IT MOVES!!!!!❤
@@MsSemki That's exactly what I was thinking, lol.
Every cat is ultimately a kitty at heart. House cats are basically wild animals that trust humans and have all their needs met.
My cat came in his cat door last night at 10 and walked up to me with a mouse in his mouth, meowed and dropped it at my feet.
@@flynnstone3580 That is normal. iirc it means the cat likes you and wanted to share its hunt for you so you can eat it.
I am pretty sure humans didn't intentionally turn wild cats into pets, they just came and hanged around because food was easier to be found around humans.
their intelligence literally doesn't change much from the point they are born to the day they die. Their brain doesn't allow much development into a "mature" cat, which since they are animals, doesn't actually exist either :P
@@Laerei That's pretty much what biologists think nowadays. Cats apparently domesticated themselves and did a bit of a half-hearted job of it, which why they behave so much like their wild brethren.
I love that moment of realization that this isnt just some stationary piece of nature like a log or tree branch but that it was something to swing around and play with
She realized it was a prop_physics entity instead of a prop_static entity.

That is true. She reminds me of what my cat does . 😸

Priceless
So Cute 😅😅❤❤
True, just this one will eat you.
Thank you for not adding wacky music or commentary. It's honestly refreshing
Ohhh I'm sure they will get ahold of it soon 😅😂
YES!!!! I ALWAYS HAVE TO MUTE IF THERE ARE IDIOTIC COMMENTARIES!!! This was GREAT!!!
5 seconds of the video to lure us in then a 2-3 minute channel update then his 2 minute sponsor then talking about how rare and endangered cats are so make sure to never drink out of a plastic water bottle now onto the footage. "Oooh ahhhh". Pauses it every 5 seconds. Something that gets me is when someone is covering an article and they just keep scrolling up and down the article like an absolute ADD baby that can't stop touching the mousewheel. Sigh youtube. It's such a low bar that tv can't seem to get over.
funny can be cute, but cute shouldn't be funny.
My brain already adds the "Cat. I'm a kitty cat. And I dance dance dance and I dance dance dance"
Don’t you wish you could take that kitty home and give it a big hug. She’s beautiful.
Only if she eats people I don't like. 😂 She is beautiful though.
I'd love to. ❤
Yes but it'll maul me
In a world where it wouldn't turn me to breakfast, then yeah I'll pet the big kitty.
@@sportygirlplays Ricky Bobby tamed the cougar in his car

In general, cats are truly intelligent animals. Cougars can purr as well.
@@robertmchugh4639 I suppose they're misunderstood. because they don't seem smart. or they're just more independent and uninterested in things like being trained, and don't like being told what to do. lol. different instincts I guess.
@@mayganphynix8267 Yes, I've thought that over the years.
This is apparently true: Cats are genuinely notorious in scientific circles as one of the worst animals to try to do reliable, consistent behavioural tests on, because there's almost no way of knowing if they're not doing something because they can't figure it out, or because they're so done with our shit that they just cannot be bothered to play along. It's possibly why Schrodinger did his famous thought experiment where an imaginary cat in a box is both alive and dead, because he couldn't bare the humiliation of discovering that cats have a whole range of quantum states, not least of which is "not even in your stupid box, monkey, because we know how to teleport" 😂
Cats are scientists. Sometimes mad scientists.
I don't think people realize how little housecats have changed from the wild big cats.
Oh gawd- don't let them know you said that. Their little egos will swell even more.
My ex gf had a cat that would leave for a few days at a time and then come back home. He would go around hunting and being a wild cat then come back for some love and guaranteed water and food. That's when I realized he's just a little tiger who's been housebroken lol
People have this notion that house cats are domesticated because they make themselves so comfortable, but they are wild animals. They never lose their hunt drive or instincts. One of my cats who is generally skittish even completely let's her guard down when she sleeps on my bed with me. I've never given her a reason to think I would even do something that she doesn't like because I've babied her since I got her at 11 months old. She also never learned the word "no" and we made it our business to treat her like a queen when learned that was a real term for female cats. Plus she's a super rare Arabian Mau female Tabby. Her body is unique from the other cats and she kind of looks like a cheetah body wise so that's another reason we treated her like that.
House cats did not come from any big cat there size hasn’t really changed there’s many species of small/tiny wild cats
@@GreenGarbadge No so my friend. Small cats, that we all know as house cats are one species called felis catus. Anything like Bobcats, Serval, Caracal are different.
Being a new cat person, this is the most precious thing I've ever seen! That cat could not only kill you but it would eat you! And it's simply playing with a toy! This is God's greatest beauty!
I think I read there is an estimated 20,000+ wild Mountain Lions in North America and only 20 deaths in the last 100 years. There's some photos of some very large and muscular Mountain Lions. Even a 80 pound Lion can kill a human; they are very strong and for the most part we are helpless, but it's rare. We can't run, we can't see, we don't have the sense of smell or hearing they have. It's believed they will see a hiker way before you will see them and they usually will go the other way.
no such thing as God
I once saw an aerial view of a pack of adult wolves in the wild all running & playing with a big stick.. taking turns stealing it from one another and proudly carrying in their mouths for long distances. Just as joyful as any puppies! Such cute demons..
who else wanted the lion to sit in top of it and swing ?
@ @ambarinfinity1 LOL, Yep, I sure did!
She’s going to be a good mom someday taking her kids to the park.
I hope so. There will be a video if she does.
@Tim Y Love this! 😂❤
If she’s anything like the hammock bears she will! Cubbies & swings 😊

@BOB K 🤣
They’re basically the same as a house cat, except the things a house cat does that make you go “ouch,” make you go dead. Such an impressive animal. 💪🐱💪
😂😅 too true
That muscle cat emoji combo 😆 I just imagine the cuttiest kitty with enormous human arms 😂
Lmao “make you go dead” 😂
All animals are impressive in their own way.
"make you go dead" 😭😭😭
The look of excitement and astonishment when she realized it can move is adorable and i love it
Adorable. A cat is a cat and that is that! 😻❤️
I know full well these beautiful cats are dangerous. But I hiked all over the Tucson AZ area, and had several up-close encounters, and walked away unharmed. I startled one in our community pool area dipping its paw into the hot tub on a chilly night, fascinated with the wet and warm water. He took one look at me, did a double-take, and jumped 20 feet, clearing a 6 ft fence. That's when I realized it was not a Great Dane! WOW!
You are lucky to have seen them. That would have been an amazing leap to see.
@@phatteus took my breath away! I really thought I was looking at a Great Dane. When the cat jumped across that area AND over the fence, I said to myself, "That's NOT a dog." Got into my car and when I came around the corner I got a full-on view of him - he was so beautiful. I went back to the area with my son and made plaster casts of his footprints. My treasures.
It's a good thing the cat wasn't a tiger, leopard, jaguar, lion, or ocelot, or you might have lost access to the hot tub in the community pool area for a while!
@@mariashaffer-gordon3561 😺😸😻 THAT would have been something. I'm surprised he wasn't taking a dip himself. I've seen mountain lions go swimming - funny to look at.
Only takes once
What’s interesting to me is even a cat understands an additive wave function at a small level. It pushes the swing at exactly the perfect moment to make it go higher like a person would. Wild stuff.
They have nine lives
Its not rocket science lol "additive wave" 😂
It's smarter than people
she probably doesn’t call it additive wave function ..
Yep….additive waves. That’s the story she’s going with when telling her friends
She makes me smile, the playfulness and lighthearted joy within her on discovering the swing.
Left Brain: Kitty Kitty 😍 Right Brain: 💀
The similarities between wild and domesticated cats is astounding! Well, at least until they’re hungry. Then that’s a completely different story
I saw a photo once of wild cats sitting in cardboard boxes and realized the same thing
Not really. It's just that the domesticated cat isn't big enough to really take a human on.
@@MrTroves I disagree. If that was the case then lions would not attack elephants
@@MrTroves I've had some cats who probably would have eaten me if they'd been larger, but I think some of mine wouldn't have done so.
Can you do a joke but it’s actually to the point where it’s a nightmare for paleontologist to figure out the evolution history of the kitty because most cat species skeletons are extremely similar in everything but size.
Imagine hearing your swing in the backyard moving in the middle on the night, but you see nothing. Telling yourself 'It's just the wind.'
Then you bravely go out to discover the truth - "there's no such thing as ghosts" - and find the truth is even scarier!
Or it's the cat
You need to start penning some ghost stories!!!

Your comment was chillingly good. Good storyteller.
He even shakes his head like house cat when he is in mood to play. So cute!

The night cam kinda fooled me into forgetting just how pitch dark it must be while she's doing all this. It's amazing how fine tuned these animals are.
Fine tuned for DEATH...and CUTENESS.

Amazing how cameras work.
Woah great point bud!
It’s infrared rather than low light camera work. The cats have extremely well evolved eyes to enable them to see in the dimmest of light, on one of Attenborough’s vids there are lions just walking quietly up to their prey and grabbing them without a chase, the prey just could not see them coming.
That mountain lion is playing just like my silly kitty does. All cats are goofy when they don’t think anybody’s watching, lol.
What a precious reaction from this mountain lion; but, please do not lose sight of how dangerous he/she is.

Look at the size of its paws lol, cute kitty is having fun but could probably swing that around the branch or rip it down if it wasn't in a playful mood lol
It would only do that if something provoked it
And front legs that cat is huge!
@@bradholmes4 what's crazy is that isn't even a full sized adult! Lol
You are right. The is only her second summer and she has been on her own for less than a month. But so far successful. She hung out here four days while feeding on a deer kill nearby. Her mom would be so proud.

Just more proof that big or small, wild or domesticated, a cat is still a cat.
Great video! It always amazes me how, regardless of size, cats' behaviors are so similar.
Yep agreed actually think that one should pack in their survival bag for the deep woods a laser pointer and a cigarette cellophane these things could possibly save your life from a mountain lion I know it sounds cheesy and comparing them to house cats but I think it actually would work especially the laser pointer even if they were attacking you they would say wow what is that. And possibly Chase it the other direction up a tree. Never tried it hope I don't have to but I think it actually would work and it is a last resort. 🕯️😼🤘🕯️
Awe, so cute. I'd like to see that on a game camera.

@@rtc2112 1/10?....... ...,chance? What is 1/10?
Doubt the laser pointer would work with the larger cats. It triggers the resemblance to insects scurrying, which small cats are interested in, but larger cats usually aren’t.

@@jaytee2642 yuuuuuuuuup lol
Laser pointers don't attract lions. It's because the beam of the laser is too small to be prey, so the lion ignores it.
Awww 🤗. I was kinda hoping it would hop on for a little swing, but that's still totally adorable🤗.
She plays like a kitty cat because she is a kitty cat. She just has more fluffy belly, and more nose to boop, than the average kitty that we are used to. Actually, I wouldn't recommend trying to boop that nose.
The only reason house cats don’t rip your face off is because of the food and catnip.
@@suki757 I love cats, but it is a bit disturbing how nonchalant they are when they "accidentally" hook a claw into my skin while playing rough. Me: "Hey, you have your claw hooked into my skin." Cat: "Don't worry - I can unhook it whenever I want. I'm fine."
@@myblacklab7 its because they see you as another cat and dont see the need to act any different. But unfortunate and painful consequence of owning one though. Makes them all the more impressive and worthy of respect!
@@vvelvettearss Very true, and it's a testament to domestic feline intelligence that they can figure out that a love bite for them is a painful bite for humans. I just saw a KZhead comment where someone said they rescued a wild cat, not a domestic breed, and it never learned to retract its claws when playing with humans. I theorize that this failure to learn was due to the fact that domestic cats possess a certain type of intelligence that wild cats do not possess. The reason why I get mild scratches and bites from cats is that I violate the Basic Rules of Safe Cat Interaction (BRSCI). The reason I violate the rules is because the cats trick me into doing it by being charismatic, overly-huggable (many humans have been wounded in retaliation for committing the sin of holding a cat for too long), or impressively athletic. It doesn't help that I refuse to have my cat's claws trimmed. I don't really mind the scratches - I just tell everyone I get them from participating in underground knife-fighting tournaments so I don't seem like a weirdo.
The big cats purr just like house cats so of course they like to play with toys. 💜
unfortunately the classic big cats like lions and tigers cannot purr, but all cats that cannot roar can purr! this includes mountain lions and cheetahs. mountain lion purrs sound like lawn mowers

It's a pity she didn't try getting on the swing 😂 My domestic cat used to do the very same thing with my son's swing and tried to get on it.
