tow a trailer and make a mobile work shop charge your batteries with solar
Came here to say this! :)
Likely to get broken into :/
@@TheJttv yea put an alarm in it that sends an alert to your phone you will only be about 10 foot away anyways.
@@enzprintco.8625 I don't think he liked it though, I think I'm the only person without a love heart on there comment, I feel left out.
Came here to say this, mobile work/wood shop in an enclosed trailer, maybe customize it so you can open it, have more floor space, and fresh air 😉
If you're ever driving through Arkansas you could park in my yard and we can collaborate on a video or two. You're welcome to use the shop space while you're staying. Just an offer if you're interested!
You're woodworking videos were my inspiration to jump in and build out a woodworking shop/maker space. I'm really going to miss your woodworking videos.
This will be an exciting journey to follow! Congrats! 🙌😎 ..and taking the 3D Printer with you is a must 😈
Thank you for following along!
Not a pivot I was expecting, but honestly it feels so incredibly right for the two of you! I love the content you’ve made with Eden in the past, you have such a healthy and wholesome relationship, and I can’t wait to see more of your shared adventures 😊
What a wonderful comment, thanks for watching!
I love when people doing DIY stuff show their mistakes. It makes you very relatable. I can't wait to see where you go once you get on the road.
Thanks for following along!
Here's something that I think would make an interesting and unique long term project: during your travels collect something (a natural choice would be small pieces of wood associated with the areas you're traveling through), and at the end of your trip make something that uses those collected pieces, like a patchwork coffee table that represents your adventure.
I love seeing couples work together. It is how it was always meant to be.
I'm extremely happy for you, not because of the change itself, I love the woodworking videos you make, but because you put happiness as priority and that itself will keep your videos excellent. Also Morley, you have a golden partner, having someone that supports you, and invest herself into a plan like this with you, is one in a billion! Cherish her!
Eden truly is a vibe. Another great video @MorleyKert. 💯 Happy for you both and safe travels always!!
I at first was like don't do it! Then the more I watched your video I was jealous of the outside the box lifestyle you two were going for. It never crossed my mind... EVER to attempt this let along to do it. you have a fan for life.
It would be cool to see you "pick" and restore antiques you find throughout the travels! Looking forward to the podcast also
Morley you've been jumping from leather to 3D printing to woodwork to podcasts to whatever interests you at the time for years. You make solid content, and with Eden to bounce off (and make up for your curly mug :P) I'm sure whatever stories you choose to tell on the road you'll find sponsors and an audience to match. Just have fun and enjoy the trip, the workshop will be waiting when you get back.
Eden is a riot! From what I saw from her in previous videos, I'd never think she would be so camera ready and fit so well with your filmography. So excited for you guys, loving the frequency of uploads and the renewed energy for the channel. Keep them coming. Godspeed!
This "shift" will be a success. Godspeed!
As someone building a van as well, good luck! its a lot of fun and time for sure. Its slow for us bc we have a baby and full time corporate jobs but progress is happening and is exciting. I will say, DEFINITELY try sleeping in your van before its done. Get an air mattress and a box fan and go camping. You will realize you might want to change things. We definitely did a few times. Have a dedicated place for the pets that they can call home. Before we had our bed platform installed, and slept on an air mattress our two dogs felt lost and awkward. Got the bed installed, gave them a designated place underneath it (temporarily using a folding travel crate and they were much happier. Lastly, congrats on your success! been watching since low thousands subscribers and you seem genuinely nice and caring and enthusiastic. Good people for sure. Keep it up and good luck with everything!
Get a trailer, you can fit an entire workshop inside even a small motorcycle trailer. Get good locks on it, a good security system, and don't make it look like anything important from the outside.
How amazing two person can blend ideas together and achieves something together.. Good job.
Enjoy the process Sounds fun.
I started watching your videos because of your woodworking. Because of the content shift I will probably not watch anymore. But I wish you all the best on your journey.
It's clear y'all put in the research and this van is going to be a great example for others on the internet.
Thank you! Hope we can live up to that expectation :)
Honestly... don't worry about the content pivot! I youtuber I'Ve been watching for years at this point (modustrial maker) did a complete content shift at the beginning of the pandemic after buying a building and if anything the shift boosted his channel way up.
Amazing story. I wish I could commit to something like this. Inspiring guys!
Hats off to you guys. Please keep filming and documenting this process. Such good content to watch and love the authenticity.
So happy to see proactive pet parents. The positive dog training with the dog was great to see!
Morley & Eden’s Grand Adventure. The MEGA podcast 😊
WOW I didn’t even think of that, that’s fantastic!
you should have called the podcast "Driving M.E. Wild"
You look amazing together. Eden is so sunny! Can't wait to see the adventure there. Have fun
You are absolutely right. Say yes to life always but especially when you are young. You'll never get those years back.
Congrats on all of it. Many blessings to your new adventures!!
Its crazy that you only have 290k subs. The quality of the channel is so high and the projects are so fun! I imagine the channel is gonna pop one day and your sub counts gonna explode!
❤️❤️
I mean the 3D Printer idea is great, but i see you as one of the best van builder in the future so you dont need to worry about other video ideas…you can just focus on the van build and we would love it ❤
This will be so exciting to follow! I hope you'll keep posing videos as you are rebuilding the van as well!
Hey Morley! Just down the road from you here in Trenton! Found you from your woodworking stuff. Watching your videos helped me get into 3D printing and I picked up a P1P about a week ago! Wifey and I both watch some van life channels and now we can watch your adventure too! Really excited for the future of your KZhead channel! Stay Awesome!
That’s awesome to hear! Thanks for watching 😊
Love the idea. I wish only the best for you both.
Really hoping y'all swing through Amarillo TX. If you're near would love to grab a coffee and make y'all a commemorative Rubik's cube portrait!
Cool, the 3D printing repair videos are my favorites 👍🏻
This is so exciting! I cant wait to see what kind of compact makerspace things you can set up, might help me with my apartment living too, who knows! :D
Looking forward to the Adventures of the MORDEN van.
Haha yes! Thanks for coming along for the ride :)
Eden is delightful. You two are fun on camera together.
Congrats 🎉 enjoy the time and freedom you have right now to travel. I'm looking forward to the videos! Best of luck for your travels
Eden should start a vanlife/travel channel to capture a female audience and bring in more revenue for the trip!
Lol I think that's the idea, but why start a new channel when you can just capitalise on someone else's
I will never understand how this is more appealing than getting married, having lots of children, and surrounding yourself with a loving and vibrant family for the rest of your life and then having that legacy carry on for generations.
Why do you assume that we don’t want any of that?
@@MorleyKert if that is truly a goal of y’all’s then that’s great, and I apologize. But many people that decide to live the van life do so because they would rather live their life traveling and living in the moment rather than investing in the future and nearly all of those types of people that I’ve met do not want families.
Super excited to follow the journey!
Honesty I’m very excited to see you as a creator be able to pivot and keep doing what you have dreamed. It’s also really nice how Eden (and you) have both found some great confidence on camera! Excited for this next step
Oh wow... Wishing I was in my 20s again.
How exciting!!
Watching you use install the vent fan was real throwbacks to when I did my first van, in pretty much the same order: be nervous, measure multiple times, drill, jigsaw, too much shaking for the jigsaw, cutoff wheel. Also: hate to break it to you, but that’s not the hardest part - the whole electrical system is much worse!
So excited to follow along! I would love to do this sometime if I'm able to!
Cant wait to follow along
Can’t wait for the van life vids man
Pelican…really inspiring. Stay safe!!
I get the feeling she would have left him if he had said no lol
Great story so far! I’m looking forward to following along on the adventure.
Thanks for coming along for the ride!!
For the window miscut, maybe what happened is you *didn't* flip the template over. You need to flip the template over end for end so it is in the same orientation as it was inside.
all the very best to both of you guys
Congratulations! Looking forward to your podcast and adventures :)
good luck and more power to you two. 👍
I expect to see this van in person at workbench con. 🎉🎉🎉
You should run the van off of an EcoFlow power kit
Wow sounds so much and I am waiting to hear your advanture withe the van build and the new challanges! And as some commenters already said, why not add a small trailer which can be workshop/storage and you even can put the 3d printer there to make some more livinf space in the van Good luck advanturing!
Amazing cant wait to see more videos of you together what a great team. ❤❤❤
Love the idea of this and can’t wait to see more and the dynamic between you both is awesome. Really interested to see how this plays out over the coming months 👍🏻 it’s strange because I have no interest in living in a van myself but always find the conversion really interesting as well as the different designs and storage methods people use. So I’ll just live my van life vicariously through you two 😆
That's awesome to hear! Thanks for watching :)
Now you can hand deliver those $10K tables from pallets far and wide.
Cheers! If your plans take you through Indianapolis, it would be great to meet up (maybe a mini-event for makers?)! Also: will we be able to see the tv show in the US? It looks great! Praying for safe travels.
I love the music tracks you put in your videos, especially the electronic music, it makes me happy. Love your videos.
That's awesome to hear, I put a lot of work into choosing the music :)
This is amazing. I hope you find your way to New Hampshire with your free 3D printed repairs. I love that series.
I’m from New Hampshire!
@@MorleyKert Wow, small world. I've been here only half my life but feel right at home now. It's a beautiful state.
Congratulations to both of you can’t wait to see what you guys do and the videos that come out of it.
Thank you so much!
Drill your template holes on a different place top left bottom right. Then you can't flip it on the other side.
You'll be fine Morley with your content. I think you'll find that most people subscribe to your channel for your upbeat positive attitude and smiling face and that won't change. I'll keep watching and to be honest, one of my favourite parts of your existing content was watching your goofy interactions with your soon to be wife Eden. So the fact that we'll get to see more of the two of you together has only strengthened my commitment to your channel. Cheers from Australia and looking forward to watching your adventures as they unfold.
Thank you so much!
Should be fun getting to see more of Eden in the vids!!
💯
nice, im excited to see your journey unfold :)
Really hoping you guys can make it to Argentina. And really, really looking forward to follow you on this amazing adventure. ❤
Best Wishes on your build and new adventure.
Thank you!
this is so great! good luck with the build! once you're on the road, you should make a series out of driving to different places and doing collaborations with local woodworkers...
Definitely! Thanks for watching
I think that you could absolutely still do the furniture builds while on the road. It'll be difficult, but imagine the story behind a coffee table made from scrap you gathered on your trip and built in different stops/ shops! If the van build isn't enough of a challenge it would be awesome to see! Already looking forward to more updates on this though! Good luck you two!
That’s an awesome idea! Thanks for watching 😊
Hot damn dude. Wish I was 20 again. Good luck to u and Eden 🤙🤙
man i am super exited to see your travels! van build arc series please!
Definitely! Thanks for watching 😊
Sleeping horizontally is a big bonus!
For sure! Adds so much space flexibility.
Love your content, you’ve got a place to stay if you make it out west! Keep it up!
Oh Abby ❤ you get to travel! So much fun. What exciting adventures ahead of you. Good for you. Follow yours dreams and do all you can while you still can. Like you said you can always make money along the way. Ummm 🤔 Morley did you realize your future wife is nuts 😂. Love her.
I'm brazilian and I follow a brazilian youtube channel called "vibe de dois", which is basically a vlog channel where this couple shows how their life is living in a minivan (actually a kombi which is even smaller!) traveling all the way from south south america up to alaska. It's sooooooo cozy to watch and I can't wait to have another form of content like that to watch with you!
I love it! Best of luck!
After traveling around America, Canada, and Alaska with my family for a year I have learned so much. if you guys want any guidance of where to go or some of what to expect while traveling we started a channel its called “Little house on the open road”
This is so wierd !! I was just thinking a few days ago.... and I'm not even making this up.... I was thinking... I wish there was a mobile 3D printing thing to come help me build all the stuff I want.
Damn, Inflation in Canada is INSANE but congrats!
Enjoy the adventure! If for some weird reason the U.S. portion of your trip puts you on the west side of Illinois and you need a pit stop, hit me up.
You probably flipped the template for the window backwards. And, FWIW, I once had the exact couch you clipped from The Office that Michael flipped over!
Good for you guys, best of luck
Thank you!
Sounds like this series should be called "Morley needs to listen more to Eden" xD lmfao
You guys are nuts, I love it, and I'm super jealous. Good to do it before you have kids! ENJOY! Also, I'm super excited for Eden to be in more videos!
Woohoooooo!
Hell yea! I wanted to do Van life because the economy is bonkers. However, I decided against due to reasons. Nonetheless, I’m glad you guys are doing it! Get out and go adventure. That’s what life is about. The cycle of sitting in the house, going to work, pay bills, go sleep, and do it again the next day is mundane. I’m happy for you! Gives me hope where I could go on my grand adventure as well.
Guys this is awesome! You are in for an incredible adventure!! If you want to collaborate on a build / video when you make it to the PNW, come hang with us!! We can get in my shop and make something awesome! We have plenty of parking for Tiny 😁.
Hey! So Exciting! My wife and I built our a 2021 RAM Promaster 3500Extended a couple years ago and lived full time in the van across the US until very recently when we bought our first home. If you ever have any questions or want someone to bounce ideas off of, feel free to reach out. We are about to do a remodel on our van this fall actually, we learned a lot from what we did and know what we actually want out of it now. We also 3D print in our van! Solar powered printing is great ;)
That’s awesome to hear! Thanks for watching and I will check out your build 😊
Make the most of it wile you are still allowed to move around and buy fuel 15:14
instead of free pallets you will use trees from the nature to do stuff
Cool video. Great Job!!!
not only could you do 3d printing, you could buy a laser and do that also
Congrats on the decision, that is terrifying, but less so with a life partner. Will you be going for all 50 states? Meetups could be fun.
Everything's easier together!
Guys this looks great! Morley I think flipping or not flipping templates or 3d prints before printing is like your arch nemesis at this point? 😆
Haha absolutely!
@@MorleyKert Can't wait to see some of the content from this and you guys, congrats on the big leap!
