If you’re a fan of calming ASMR, you’re in for a real treat. In this episode of MADE HERE, we’re taking you through the pencil-making production process-from colored pencils, to sketching pencils, and the everyday classic pencil.
The beloved writing tool begins as a humble slab of wood from which the familiar pencil shape emerges. The slabs for the colored pencils get sorted, shaved, then sorted again before being stacked, smoothed down and shaped. Next, the color stick is sandwiched between two slabs of cut wood that gets placed in a machine that prepares to cut the columns that will become sharpened pencils later on in the production process.
Colored pencils receive a layer of paint to indicate what the color is and move down a conveyor belt where they get stacked and prepped for packaging. Before anything can move forward, though, it has to get a quality control check; then the pencils are on their way to being labeled with the company name and logo.
Elsewhere in the factory, ferrules (the little metal bands that affix the eraser to the pencil body) and erasers are being sorted and prepped for attachment. The ferrules go on first and then the erasers get plugged in to the proper pencils. The near-finished product-both regular pencils and colored pencils-then get sharpened and packaged in their boxes for delivery, where they eventually make their way to us.

  • This is surprisingly beautiful...perfect music and cinematography, not just how pencils are made, but how these simple tools are created by a rather amazing process, and then go on to power creation in the hands of writers and artists all over the planet! Bravo to the production team and all the workers who make our pencils ;-)

    • That and packaging. Given that, there's a surprising amount of variation on boxes and bags that makes it hard to automate sometimes. Just a little bit too much glue will gum up a machine, but an operator won't even notice it if they're putting bags on by hand.

Well done and well done again!! Please can you indicate the different musics?

For example I didn't see how the leads are inserted down the middle - nor how the wood is chamfered into being 6 sided all happens so fast and so automated I didn't learn what I came here to see. I'm going to look elsewhere.

  • Today's DAD JOKE: Let me tell you the joke about the broken pencil.....Actually never mind it’s a pointless joke! Jesus Christ is coming back in our lifetime! Time is short! Our every deed is recorded in our blood creating a spiritual record of our good and evil deeds (1John5:8 KJV). Jesus Christ is the Second Adam, within whom GOD, the Father, is manifested in the flesh (1Tim3:16; John10:30; John17:11, King James Version). Jesus redeems the fallen Adam by living without sin and being perfectly obedient to GOD, the Father. 2,000 years ago, Christ shed His blood to TRANSFER His list of good deeds onto our record through our shared red blood (Col1:14; Col1:20; Rom5:9; Heb10:19; Rom3:25 “Whom GOD hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood.."; Rev1:5; Isai64:6). Then He died and was buried to pay the penalty for our list of bad deeds on our record (cutting away our list of sins) (1John2; Rom5:12; Rom6:23; Col2:11-15).

    @goodtimescanada7022@goodtimescanada702210 ай бұрын
    • Then GOD raised Jesus back to Life into a new body after reading Christ’s record and giving of HIS approval. Jesus’s Resurrection is PROOF that the record of His good deeds will work for you as well (John11:25,26). When you die un-Saved, your soul with your record is summoned by satan to the Great White Throne Judgment to meet GOD, the Father where satan reads your old record and accuses you of sinning and condemns your soul to go to hell with satan (Rev12:10). Do you want your NEW record -- that Jesus Christ transferred to you and fixed for you 2,000 years ago -- to be read out in heavenly court? YES or no. (Eph2 “For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God..”). You have Free Will Choice and GOD requires an answer. It is best if you reply “YES!” out loud to GOD (Rom10:9-10) (1Cor15:1-4). GOD is listening to you and HE will write your name into HIS book of Life.
