This Is The ONLY Swimbait You Need To Catch Fish With All Year Round!

The DRT Tiny Klash has been one of my favorite little swimbaits just because of how versatile the bait is and its fish catching ability. Over the years, I have fished the bait in several different modes and have found 5 that cover all of my bases all year round. Today, I break down the modes and show each action to hopefully give you guys a good understanding of what the bait can do!

I have never been able to find the Klash 9 low float in stock EVER, and while watching the video I checked a few places, everywhere out of stock, and I checked the hook up tackle, and they had two colors left in stock in the low float. US Carp, and US Trout. Not only that, they are on sale for $101!!!!!! I ordered one of each. I am sooo freaking stoked!!!!

  • I never had any confidence fishing glidebaits/swimbaits from the bank. Really only thought they were too big and meant for lakes with bigger fish. Seeing you fish them from the bank with all that confidence really inspires me man. Picked up a magdraft freestyle, s waver, and Ill be picking up a few more “lighter” glides/swimbait to test out this upcoming season. Dont have a swimbait combo but Ill try getting it done on my 7’2 H Expride B with a curado 150 mgl (probably not the most ideal combo but I dont have anything heavier other than a 7’3 XH expride b and thats a straight up pool cue lmao). “Big” fish here in IL means a 3-5 pounder but they are few and far between. I’ll still give it a shot and hopefully get better. Thanks for the content man can’t wait to see future videos from you 💪🏼

  • $100 is pretty steep as the first big swimbait to ever fish, but I got one in the cart now. Lol I started with the Huddleston 68,(~$30) S-waver 168 ($20), Savage gear 3D shiner (~$20). Yet to catch my first big swimbait fish, but I invested in a Dobyns FR 795C and Tatula 300 this past Christmas to start my swimbaiting journey in California’s highland reservoir lakes.

  • Great video. You mentioned that you only really use the low float version. Have you found that weighting the hi float to get it closer to a suspend messes with the action too much? I’m still experimenting with weighting my TC and trying to figure out what works and how far I can push it.

    @shaffege@shaffege4 ай бұрын
    • I don’t weight the hi float, if I wanted a bait that was slow float I would just use a low float TiK, the hi float for me is used as a wake bait personally

  • Dude - Great video! I can't believe it took me 2 days to get to watch it, my bad!!! I can't wait to get my hands on one of these to try in 2024! After hearing that Phoenix had success in MN with them, that's all I need to know! As a Northern angler, our bigguns are 5, 6, 7 lbs unless we fish private spots.... so the 8-9-10-12" swimbaits don't get a lot of bites. This sucker seems like it will be the deal for big bass up north.... I am super stoked to slow roll that thing around with some grenade weights piled on it once the sun cycle starts getting longer here in Pennsylvania. Now it's just a matter of finding them... I can only find the 1.5 oz floaters on TW. Hook up is sold out. Any ideas???

  • When I first bought tk’s a d K9’s. I thought the only good way was to glide it. Ended up trading mine. Then I just decided like a year later to give it another shot. Someone told me not to fish it like a glide and to always have the lip in. First day out I broke my PB. I will say stock TKs out of the box go deeper than that. Watching them on my live scope they Will crank down to 8 feet and that’s about where they sit. With the wide lip you can get 11 to 12 feet. With a short lip I believe you can get 5 to 6 feet and with the YTMK Lip it actually goes up to 6 feet. If you slow it down obviously it doesn’t go as deep. But I got into this bait in May of this year, and I haven’t put it down. I’ve caught more fish on this than any other swimbait. I am in Massachusetts and even now with the water around 37°, I can still catch them sometimes

  • Idk bro too much of a good thing can be a bad thing love the Kash 9 and TK but with everybody going after the same bait I feel like the fish get to used to seeing it it’s definitely a good bait but it’s really just a tool in my opinion nowadays it’s just showing me where the fish are hidden I think ppl get the wrong idea that just because you buy a bait that’s hard to get your gonna get that PB you’ve been hunting for but true Swimbait fishermen know it’s not the bait it’s the fisherman 🤷🏾‍♂️

  • You fish in California or the south? Fish in the south don't like Swimbait much.

  • $100 for a swimbait…looks like the lure manufacturers are catching some big fishermen.

    • Yeah. It seems a bit much for an injection molded lure when a near identical one costs 20-25 bucks.

  • Thanks dude! You definitely answered some questions I had about it and you were on point from what I’ve already seen from the bait action wise. Actually grabbed the bass color K9 from y’all on the last drop, just put some quads on it but haven’t really had the chance to try it out
