England looked flat, defiantly not the Euro-holders we once witnessed, stanway, walsh are not in form, i know sarina loves her favourites from that euro-winning Era but its time for a change if they want to be even close to winners again, russo playing solo striker isnt going to cut it, yes she got a goal but she doesnt look a threat upfront, Daly is so much more of a threat and clinical finisher, jess park needs to be starting, shes so creative in midfield and isnt scared of going forward and taking shots, some of these girls pass backwards too much, have no real desire to go full throttle and bring that intensity etc (everyone looks great in training on the field) but its not transpiring to the games. Bringing off Grace clinton? Sweden were making alot of great changes...but lets be fair, they dont have the talent we have, i love the team but im tired of the way sarina sets up the team and who she KEEPS playing game in game out and those are not performing like they once did.

I wish they would just hit the target occasionally. The women ( not just the English women) seem to put to much weight on the pass, etc; it's as if they are trying to overcompensate for being physically weaker than the men, that they have to kick the ball harder. It's a lightweight football; not a medicine ball!

England were slightly fortunate to get a point. Starting with last year's World Cup Final, it looks to me like other teams have "worked out" the Lionesses. It wouldn't surprise me if they don't even qualify 😢

@@richard6440 I think England will beat the Republic; I think they will draw at home to France, and I can't see them getting anything away to them, or away to Sweden. I hope I'm wrong. However, this is the worse case scenario.
@@user-yn3iq2on4s I think i will wait for the games. Plan for the worst ( tea and biscuits ) and hope for the best ( mint ice cream ) . Looking at the other Div A groups, Sweden or England could have easily been put in another group , without upsetting the balance. Uefa, what have you done? /smh

Lucy bronze is getting caught up too high too often now , fair enough if it’s a friendly but these are euro qualifiers we need too put of a best team and win. The first half was so flat. When Chloe kelly, toone and stuff came on it gave more energy, grace Clinton played amazing should have kept her on and taken off stanway. Didn’t even know she was on
And when mead came on the game changed as well, Alessia Russo was brilliant but hemp shouldn’t have swapped with her if Sarina wanted a sub for striker then she could have alwasy brought on daly. New starting 11 on Tuesday?.

Mary Earps making silly mistakes again, I’m an England fan like most of you are but is Mary Earps really the best goalkeeper?, I think she’s very overrated. Sarina should bring in Hannah Hampton, she plays very well for Chelsea, as a Chelsea fan, or bring on Khiara Keating for the first time, even though she was injured, she plays very well for Man City. We can’t be making these mistakes with our goalkeepers.

Classic Russo goal. When it is a split second opportunity in a difficult position, she can always get a goal. That's the thing : when it is a split second decision on instinct- she will make it a goal.
men football is about money and who can do a hollywood stunt inside the penalty lines ;) do men train to fall inside the lines and then VAR takes them to do goals with penalties from 7 meter line ;)
