A true Craftsman.👍
Thanks so much James, I appreciate it!
I really enjoyed that as well as seeing the end result.
Thank you Stuart, I appreciate you watching!
AWESOME. What a beautiful color combination..I love those colors....
Thanks so much! I love orange resin and this was commissioned to hold the ashes of an orange cat! Thank you for watching!
I wish coffins could look that good.😊
They could sir but the cost would be astronomical. Plus it would be a shame to bury!
That is a gorgeous piece. I like your voice-over. I thjnk it gives you time to add comments that you would not have thought of of you were turning and talking at the same time.
Thank you, I appreciate you watching!
Clever idea using the rice to calculate the amount of resin!
Thank you Maggie, I appreciate you watching!
Оооочень красиво...браво МАСТЕРУ.!!! Спасибо за возможность подсмотреть за Вашей работой.!!!
Спасибо!
Looks like I’m buying a lathe. Thank you for your inspiration!
Excellent! You will love it! Thanks for watching.
@@TheKlondikeCraftsman just ordered a Craftex-CX814. Let the fun begin!
Beautiful as is the music and your voice very calming.
Thank you, I appreciate it!
I love the voice over a lot!!!!!
Thanks! It is hard to speak and work with the full face respiratory gear on so voiceover was the way to go!
I've watched hundreds of lathe videos and this is the first time anyone actually explained what the heck they were doing and more importantly why they were doing it - really nice video and beautiful work!
Thank you! I appreciate you watching!

Man, I wanted so much to see you take the lid off of the finished vase. This is extraordinary craftmanship. Thank you much.
Thank you Steve, when I put the lid on to finish turn it, the pet ashes were inside and the lid was sealed, that’s why it didn’t come back off. Thank you for watching!
An outstanding work of art sir, just fantastic. Love the color of the resin, stunning. Like the voice over too. A very nice piece indeed.🌿 👍👍👍
I appreciate it! Thank you for watching!

The swirly fire orange looks great with the burl, very nice piece, you woodturners sure to like sanding, thank god for wood scrappers for everything else woodworking lol, edit: never mind
We don’t like sanding, at least most of us don’t. Necessary evil though. Thank you for watching!
I’ve been watching a few wood turning videos lately and I have to say that this piece is in my top 3. Love the color and wood type combo. Just stunning.

Thank you and thanks for watching, I appreciate it!
A wonderful work of art. I hoped that there would not be a lot of explanation, so this reduces the fun of the viewers
Thanks for watching. I have a lot of people asking for instructions, especially on these types of pieces. That is why I instruct.
MASHAALLAH khub valo video............

The rice was a smart idea. I must remember that.
Coming up short on resin is not something i every want to have happed. Thank you for watching!
A thing of beauty. Nicely done sir ☘️ Peace from Éire 🇮🇪
Thanks so much! I appreciate you watching!
You did a awesome job. I would dearly love to have that piece. The lid on it is so beautiful I couldn’t even tell where the lid meet the vase. There for a second I thought the lid would fly off vase when you were making the handle, but it didn’t. Thank you for showing how you made it. I love watching your show. Be safe happy and healthy. 🌺🤗🌸❤️🙏🏼
Thank you! I was hoping to make the lid seam invisible. I actually had put the ashes in the urn and sealed the lid before turning the top. Something horrible would have had to happen for it to come off. Thank you for watching!
@@TheKlondikeCraftsman your welcome, it is a Beautiful piece. I have been watching you and each piece you do. You are learning your way around let’s just say the ends and out about wood turning and the types of wood to use. But on the burls and knot’s you never know what you will get. I live in Mississippi and about 500 yards is the Pearl river and we have cypress trees and if you are familiar with them you know they have knees that grow up besides them some are quite big and some are small. I would love to have one of them to turn and make something out of it I think it would be beautiful. Just a FYI they are truly amazing. Be safe happy and healthy. 🌺🤗🌸❤️🙏🏼
Great video. I wish I was that good
Just a little practice ! Thanks so much for watching!

Thank you so much Gayle!
Stunning
Thank you Pat
With all the burl and resin dust (not the strings) tossed and mixed up, then mixed into clear epoxy and set, you could carve out a wondrous looking, wood and resin dust object displaying all sizes, facets, within the clear epoxy looking inside and out. If you did a wood- and resin-stringed object then that would have some totally unique and crazy shapes within a clear epoxy carving.
Surprisingly when you recast the “waste” it loses all of the vibrant colours. With the burl being stabilized it comes off in fine powder. Thanks for watching!
Very nice!!!!
Thanks so much!
That turned out beautifully. Great job!
