  • Jose had a 16 fight win streak in the UFC prior to the McGregor fight. Amazing. Everyone that fought Aldo said he hit incredibly hard. Would love to see a rematch between these two. Jose takes it all in his stride but the reality is he was given one shot at a rematch and it was on less than two weeks notice. He was on vacation with his family and turned it down and I understand why. Aldo was invincible for a decade and from observation, most fighters are at their peak for no more than ten years with the exception of the heavyweight division maybe.

  • Aldo had me showing his highlight reel to people for his leg kicks, I can think of only 1 other fighter I've recognized for their leg kicks enough to show people their highlight reel to point out the leg kicks. Pat Barry was a helluv a leg kicker too.

  • This doesn’t get talked about enough but instead of the UFC making Aljo vs Aldo (which would have been 100% warranted btw) instead the UFC/Dana gave the title shot to TJ who was not only coming off a two year suspension but a CONTROVERSIAL win over Sandhaggan. Not to mention Aljo vs Aldo in Brazil does far more numbers than Aljo vs TJ ANYWHERE! They then put Aldo up against Merab (who he and Aljo BOTH said beforehand that they would never fight each other) and after a snoozefest win against Aldo, Aljo then (to no fault of his own) gets an easy win over a one arm, TJ Dillashaw… Not to mention Aldo actually has a style to beat Aljo… oh well we’ll never know…

    @xaviercm380@xaviercm380 Жыл бұрын
    • Well, TJ was the former champ who didn't get beat to lose his belt. That's why he was looked at over Aldo.
