The ONE chance progressive had to win this was having Warren to pull as many votes as possible from those people, who would never go for Sanders, and after that it could have been a nice Warren vs Sanders race. Now that THEY pushed her out of the race while Biden is still in it, Biden will win this anyway. I think the best choice for Bernie would be Stacey Abrams if she'll take it as a nod to the African American community and maybe even an outside chance of grabbing Georgia. If it's Biden I think there's a strong likelihood that it will be Buttigieg to try to assuage concerns about age and senility without alienating the socialism skeptics among independents.

I think Trump is a nightmare, I'm a lifelong Democrat, but in this one case, he's 100% correct. If you undercount the number of people infected (which we DEFINITELY are), the mortality rate comes out way high. Based on previous experience--when all is said and done--the mortality rate will turn out to be much lower, probably less than 1%. When Trump lies (which is most of the time) call him out on it. When he doesn't lie, save your breath.

In case anybody was actually thinking "Wow, that movie studio postponed a movie for public health!"... It's much more likely that they postponed the movie because they were worried people wouldn't show up and it wouldn't make money.
It was on the news - someone twitted that if one person had it in the theatre, it would ruin the movie premiere, so they said you’re right and secluded it for November.
Well, of course they delayed the release to make sure they make a profit for their business. Why would they want their movie shown to empty cinemas? Makes more sense to show it when people can/are willing to turn up. That's not being uncaring; that's being smart. No one who cares misses out, right?
