What a surprise! We saw the title “Vintage Strasbourg Railroad” and thought, “How nice. There’s a vintage steam railroad in France with the same name as our close-by Straburg Railroad.” You can imagine our surprise, and delight, when we found out it was the Strasburg Railroad we know so well. My grandson loves the railroad and we’re there riding the train and visiting the railroad museum across the road a few times each year. It’s wonderful to know you were nearby. Enjoy the rest of your trip in the US! As you’re into gardening, you might enjoy Longwood Gardens, which is not too far from there. Go late in the afternoon, so you can see the plants in the light, but stay for the lights at night.

We live 1 hour from there. We've spent many years visiting there. Our best friends lived in Lancaster and we all loved trains and model trains. Wish we could have met you there.

Some years ago, we were in a small town in Tennessee having morning coffee on the motel balcony when a helicopter landed on the green in front of us ... Santa Claus jumped out and ran into the small shopping mall opposite 🤣 ... I guess he's had to up his transport game these days to get around 😁

You weren’t far from me 😊 I live about an hour away if I remember correctly. It’s been awhile since I traveled there. Lovely area, and so many great spots to stop and have a look! I think my favorite thing to see are the Amish quilts 😍

Wonderful location. We have a similar trains here in South Australia, on that goes along about of the coast through a town and the other in the hills.
