How this game is canon to Arkham series instead of a follow-up or spinoff to Injustice 2 will always hurt my brain
Because it can’t be cannon to Injustice 2 with the way it ended. Superman is trapped in the phantom zone and a evil fascist dictator, Wonder Woman is a rouge insane fascist villain in hiding, Green Lantern is Hal Jordan once the yellow lantern and now redeemed, not John, Supergirl joined the Justice League, the flash is the flash, Batman ofc is still the protector of Gathum. Injustice 2 is a completely different story and universe, they have 0.1% in common with his game, the only thing they share is the main villain in common.
Your argument is exactly why SS:KTJL should have been a follow-up to Injustice 2. Instead of Brainiac being the villain, Superman should've been the villain. It would fit perfectly for the "bad" ending in Injustice 2. Trying to kill Superman and his newly controlled Justice League after merging with Brainiac's ship would be the perfect reason for Amanda Waller to create the Suicide Squad.
@@MultiBlack17 but Batman’s ending in Injustice 2 is the canon ending, Superman’s ending was a what if ending. Also the game just leaves out a lot of characters it wouldn’t make any sense and there is 1 major problem with your theory, Green lantern in Injustice is Hal Jordan not John Stewart.

@@MultiBlack17 I still don’t see how it will fit with the current story of Injustice. Injustice Wonder Woman is legit an evil fascist murderous dictator maniac who is the devil on Superman’s shoulders constantly convincing him that his “order” and “regime” was the only way to ensure peace to mankind. They cannot be the same Wonder Women either lol 💀 she wouldn’t need a mind control to side with Superman. Plus the game also leaves out Aquaman, Cyborg and Damian clear 100% supporters of the regime, and it also leaves out Blue Beetle, Green Arrow, Black Canary, Cat-women and Firestorm clear anti-regime supporters. Superman becoming a fascist dictator or an evil villain is nothing new, it’s a story arc that’s been apart of DC for decades, Injustice is just the more well known evil Superman story line. Even in the Justice League movie, Superman fought the Justice League because Cyborgs tech viewed Superman as a dangerous threat. And there was one sense, Batman having a nightmare of an evil Superman, because of Darksieds anti-life equation.
The whole game was a bad idea IMHO 😢😮 what a waste of time money and potential

@@theemotionalremixI can’t believe they used the Batman and Justice League from the Arkham universe to be used as puppets for Brainiac and killed. Why couldn’t it just be some random other Justice League 😭 and why did it have to be these 4 specific villains, they could’ve gotten stronger villains to make the fights a bit more fair and realistic against the JL.
Gotham Knights looks like a masterpiece in every way compared to this 💀

The fact that only wonder woman hasnt gotten rogue and the suicide squad succeeded, along with only superman being able to kill her means thaf, if wonder woman went evil, they wouldnt stand a chance at all. Wonder woman helped em out more ways than one, along with lex Luthor.

Superman can fly miles away fast with a nuclear bomb and come back to metropolis in less than a second, but can't even dodge bullets that are slower than him.

So after years of fans asking for a good Superman game, one that could even expand the Arkhamverse, *this* is what we get? What a joke. This game was a bad idea from start to finish.

My main problem with this game is that it takes place after the other Arkham games. The Batman that we grew up with in the Arkham games is now dead (unless if they pull something like this being an alternate version of that franchise or that the Justice League gets revived somehow). It'd be a less souring taste if this was a stand-alone story instead of a sequel (like Gotham Knights did, for example). That being said, it does deliver on the subtitle as you DO kill the Justice League. I'll grab it when it goes on sale (assuming that it can be played 10 years down the road without a persistent internet connection).

Imagine if we got this kinda quality of a game with graphics gameplay voice acting but we played the justice league and not the stupid suicide squad. The biggest sin of this game is that some idiot thought the idea of killing the justice league off being a cool idea and connecting to the arkham verse so the cannon end of the arkham verse is this god awful ending, all this instead of a justice league game….

The more I think about it, the Suicide squad didn't kill the Justice League. Braniac did. All that the Suicide Squad did was bring them peace. Like killing their zombies. Let me know if you all either agree or disagree. I don't mind disagreements. It's just an original thought for me. 👌
