Its not in the main village but when the skeleton spell came out in the Clan Capital it also was very OP. It last only a few days or weeks until it was nerfed. It was a bit like the bat spell at one time
The Graveyard was a mistake. It was too stupid. Then it kinda got assasinated.
The graveyard strategy is still OP till date...
and nothing has changed, gy is still THE strategy for CC, its fundamentally broken
It was nerfed twice and pretty heavily too... it's still extremely op and often the only viable strategy at top level

I remember Valkyrie+ rage was better than wall breakers. Also, spells stacked during that time.
Does that stack with heroes ability though?
@@capricous7196 Barb king yes. But he was and is still useless unless maxed. And the levels back then were not useful.
@@TrevorD19 How does barb king feel usless to you? Aside the tanking abilities it can also help in creating funnels and even destroying compartments alone by entering with the help of yak.

I know these were troops in the Main Village, but in the BB the Night Witches were so broken, where you would just drop them in the corner and close the app

You forgot about Valkyrie; it was also the most op troops back then. If you used rage + Valks, you will obliterate the whole base. Valks eventually became less and less effective once the bomb towers were added into the game. I don't remember, maybe their hp got nerfed or giant bombs got a damage boost, but whatever it was, I do know that they weren't as effective once the bomb towers were added. I believe the bomb towers were added to counter Valks, I could be wrong though.
Bomb towers were more for countering hogs.

Im glad you mentioned valks at the end, cause when they got that 1st attack is faster buff, it made them unstoppable and legit clear through bases with rage jump in a min, they were legit unstoppable 👏 I hope you talk about them and show old clips of them being broken

hey man, great video as always! But I was surprised Super Wizards weren't included, since they basically broke the meta at the end of 2020 and beginning of 2021. I know people weren't spamming them but instead using them inside the battle blimp and pairing them with invisibility spells, but crushing a base with the blizzard at its peak was just overkill, you could then just finish them with Lalo, dragons, or even Barch. Even tough they were nerfed shortly after their release, the real nerf to the blizzard just came out a few days ago with the june 2023 update, where using the super wizards inside the battle blimp is just too risky in most cases, but still thrives at th11. Just wanted to point it out!

You should rename this series (as you plan to do more of them) to: The most broken state of every troop in clash of clans and then go over the time where each troop was straight up broken or at its best in the lifespan of coc.)

i remember that the troops and heroes were used to takeout cc troops and to distract the wizard tower when using bats.. i have a engineered th11 back then and it can 3 a near max th12 with bats.. you can also add zap quake strat when you can zap the th or the CC..
I love the bat spell at th13, 9 bat spells 4 freeze, 12 loons 12 dragons, and the stone slammer is my favorite attack.

You forgot the change to the Valkyries that made them target smartly. That were some tough days where everyone was just using 30+ valks to destroy your base.

as a th12 i have to say that 90% of my defense are e-drag spam and it has been like this since th11 (i'm around 4100 tr)
same, but the thing about E-drags is that they are really easy to use at th11/12/13, but much harder at th14 and 15, so they are not like "guaranteed 3 stars" with just spamming them. Then surely is much easier to get a 2 star even on higher bases, but there are just better options, so I don't think they are so much "low skill" as I originally thought
Hog is only really good at th7 and 8 now, my cousin though makes his own armies, he uses a single hog to lure cc or activate traps at th8
You should one as well for clash royale too and also what troop is the best in the meta in different years or strategy
I once had a clanmate that was TH11 or 12, and he got 2 stars around 60 percent, only using the royal ghost. (enemy had a th13 base)
Funny how the witch always manage to become broken in both Clash of Clash and Clash Royale. And speaking on CR rather have an update full of broken and toxic cards than lv15.

The hogrider meta was the funniest thing I've had in COC. Most bases just gave up trying to defend. 😂

I love using the witch. I blow up walls then put in giant and golum, then put Archer Queen and Barbarian King with archers, wizards and maybe something else, witch goes last. Witch with Archer Queen is really good.

honestly, i missed a lot on these OP strats... likely because i dont play CoC as much but id love to try some meta strats to 3 stars some much needed upgrades for my base.

The lava loon was absolutely the best thing ever added to the game. I’d go as far as to say that all the troops from that Halloween event and the freakin spell were all the best things to ever be added. But the lava loon was absolutely busted. Should add back all the event troops, but if you have them in your army the enemy base will have like 20/25 percent increased stats across the board . Would not cost the devs anything and would make the game absolutely amazing 🤩
I used to use Royal Ghost with haste to farm n stuff. So op.
You don't lose attack in war or lose your attack if u don't deploy any troops if you press the end button. After the update it's surrender, only few knew and lost lots of wars attacks with zero stars.

People complain about the Edrag users but forget that ever since the games release there has always been a spam army. The game needs a spam army to keep most of the player base.

I still do trophy pushing with full hog rider and heal spell attacks and they are pretty easy. Although my worst nemesis and enemy number one are the fucking dragons in the clan castle lol
I don't know if u guys remember (forgot the year) when miner got a huge buff and it made him game broken again & after some time supercell nerfed him by making his housing space from 5 to 6 but miner is still one of the best troop now
Royal ghosts were so much fun. I'd raid collectors with them and wind up with a 2 star using half my army
E-drag, E-drag and balloons, super dragons are some more

Dragons gotta be the weirdest. Like it was OP on TH7 because you only 2 weak air defenses quite literally just drop lightning spells to destory one air defense and drop your dragons on the side of the remaining last Air defense and drop the game. No skill nor planning needed. but on TH8 it becomes very weak with stronger air defenses and a third one. And useless on TH9 onwards.

Any th7 or 8's looking for an EASY army that requires barely any skill? Mass hogs. You can use heal spells to keep them alive, they can just sweep the base with use of heal spells at both lvls. Good job anyway havoc
