This video has been so helpful for me as I try to figure out the best planning/journaling format for me. Thank you so much!
Just discovered your channel (where have I been?). I just want to say that your channel name is fabulous; I laughed right out loud. ann
Such a fun and lovely setup!!! Love your notebook!!!
I'm really liking the chic sparrow TN's, but can't decide on size, color, plain or deluxe. But I do like the flexibility of being able to have more than one booklet in it. Thanks for sharing yours🤗. Love the future ideas you have, I hope you really enjoy it all!
I am so curious to know what supplies, as an artist, you like to tote with you? I would adore and appreciate a video that shows something like that. As a journal writer and amateur artist myself, I have that insatiable desire to see what other like minded kin do! Thank you for these great videos!!
I will do one! : )
I love the name Yippie Cahier!
I LOVE this idea! Now I have future journalling goals.
wow! suchba beautyful filofax! i'm drawn to red and similar colors! I'd love to see you setting it and using it
Please keep the videos coming- these are all great!
I never thought that there was anything better than my Midori. Now you have turned me on the the Chic Sparrow Chreme Deluxe Wide. I ended up ordering one after this video.
Great video! I have the same Chic Sparrow traveler's notebook and I love it!
I´m very curious about how your "all-in-one-journaling" will look like in your TN! I´m in two minds about doing all in one book or in a TN... Looking forward for your next video! I discovered your channel yesterday and had watched all videos yet! Love them!
I think you've totally sold me on the creme deluxe wide. I've had a terrible time making up my mind. But of course they're out of stock at the moment. Darn it!
I have my fist foxy Dori then I got 2 chic sparrows which I have not even used. Only used the foxy. I need to motivate and start using it again. Was doing one book for journal and the other for my listers gotta list challenge. But with starting the fauxbo I did not feel I wanted to do 2 books for journal and got off track with the list. When I finish a month or two and finish one I remove and start a new one. I need to figure out what I want to use the chic sparrows. Love your idea of covering the notebooks.
Sorry should be first foxy.
Whoa, who doesn't love crinkly paper? Shes so right.
Have you tried Hobonichi's Tomoe River paper? It accepts watercolor paints beautifully and crinkles as as result. I used to think, "Paper is paper!" Until I tried it. It IS what everyone makes it out to be. I've tried non-Hobonichi Tomoe River paper and it just can't compare to the Hobonichi paper. I haven't tried the Midori paper yet. It might be similar. I only wish it came in cahier size.. Standard size feels a little too narrow for my taste.
i have started an omi journal for March neverr done it before..... planning and journaling waaah
Great information! I'm tryin g to see what woul work best for journaling. Tfs! New subscriber fellow paper craft enthusiast! hugs
Yes :) it was very helpful
Love it.
Damn for a 25 year old Filofax those rings are in perfect shape! some people have rings and use it for 3 months and its broken!
OMG, I LOVE all my Chic Dparrows, especially because there's no overhang. Beautiful leather, isn't it?
it was hard to look up pens, notebooks, papers,.....next time throw us a few links?
I was waiting for your update ... Isn't chic sparrow great .. I have the maverick wide .. I use the same idea ... But love your ideas ... Do you have a Facebook , Instagram for photos ?
Will you be using the "narrow" inserts with your wide chic sparrow? Love your youtube videos.
I have the same Filofax but in black, also still in great condition. Do you happen to know the name of it? Love your video. 😍
I'd like to see the follow-up video please if you continued on to using the TN chic sparrow. Also, what size of insert are those? 5x8.25? Thank you.
I still do use this system when I travel! Although I leave my ginormous Chic Sparrow at home (cuz I don't want to risk losing it), and take the slimmer leather TN with me on trips. It's so convenient to have different inserts for different things... I really love this way of journaling!
Doesn't the thin Midori paper accept watercolor well and since you love crinkled paper, doesn't that paper crinkled after watercolor paints are applied? I think the paper is supposed to be fountain pen friendly (03) without bleed through or feathering, despite it's thinness. Have you ever used your fountain pen and/or watercolor on it yet? If so, would love to see your results. I think the Midori TN is designed for two inserts...three max. It's a good TN for minimalists... people who prefer a streamlined, zen look. I'm too much of a pack rat to carry only two inserts. But stuffing a TN can make it heavy. The Chic Sparrow Deluxe already has that extra weight due to the front and back pockets. The regular Chic Sparrow Creme Brulee (without the pockets) is also yummy and gorgeous, but I find that I prefer the lighter weight of the (reg) Creme Brulee. However, it doesn't have the stitches of the CB Deluxe.
What collection from Chicago Sparrow is your book from?
I'm curious. Do you use regular size inserts in the cahier-sized cover?
I dont understand why people spend money on these when you can make your own for a fraction of the cost i dont now i cant justify it
