  • He has absolutely no grace in his game, but he’s so tactical it makes up for it. He’s a very lanky guy and he uses his length and flexibility to create amazing shots. Absolute pleasure to watch because you never know what you’ll get. I love how in a game dominated by topspin he can hit a flatter ball, it throws off so many of his opponents. His height ensures those topspin balls go right in his strike zone and he can hit through the ball. I can’t believe Tsitsipas called him boring. Because in a game flooded with so many cookie cutter players he’s a breath of fresh air.

    • Same thought with me...i tried to think repeatedly where is the boring inside medvedev playstyle as described by tsitsipas. Most probably tsitsipas is always in jealous mode to medvedev

    • I actually find him graceful He has very good control over his body and he trusts it completely. He even does unexpected things with such control that he looks like an animated character, and if someone knows my love for animation, they know that this is a compliment. He is also extremely clever and with a good strategy ❤️

His racket is like a magic stick and his will to win every and the most difficult points from the most difficult positions is unmatched. Now he’s got both weapons in addition to an already big serve and an extremely strong mental game. Not that he was wrong, but to lose control of his emotions was customary for him a few years ago. Right now you can see that he has matured into not only a better tennis player (obviously) but also a better person, and that's imo the most important part.
