  • I'm surprised "On The Loose" hasn't been used during football games! It would get me so pumped up up! Great song!

  • Legendary tracks that made a perfect album from A to Z. Saga deserves a huge respect as one of the best progressive rock band in the History ( with their canadian fellows Rush).

  • Thank you very much for uploading the must-have and must-be-listened Saga's albums! A pity that Saga was, and still is, unknown in France despite a live performance at l'Echo des Bananes in 1982; you can find the videos on KZhead. Amazing Canadian group with highly skilled musicians; a pleasure for our ears.

  • I think everyone knows these guys, but if not: Saga are a Canadian rock band from Oakville, Ontario. Jim Crichton and Welsh-born vocalist Michael Sadler were the principal songwriters. Saga had numerous line-up changes over the years. Ian and Jim Crichton were the only two original members who appeared on every album. Sadler appeared on every release, apart from the 2009 album The Human Condition. Keyboardist Jim Gilmour was with the band from 1979, making his debut on the album Silent Knight. Drummer Steve Negus performed with Saga until 1986. The lineup was supplemented by many session musicians and live performers from the late 1980s to the late 2000s. Saga have been awarded gold and platinum albums worldwide and have sold more than eight million albums. (I saw Saga open for Quiet Riot in 1983 and they blew QR off the stage.)

    • I remember that tour. I saw them open for Billy Squier a year earlier and that was my introduction to the band. I went to the local music store the day of the concert and listened to a few tracks from this album and I remember how bummed I was that there was this "new wave" sounding keyboard-band opening and I just knew I was going to hate seeing them live later that night. Let's just say the very next day I was out trying to find a copy of this album! They killed it the night before and I've been a fan ever since.

  • Considered by many many people as the No. 1 progressive rock band in Puerto Rico (even above Rush)… that’s the impact that this band has left in the island. I’ve been seeing them live on every decade since 1980’s until now… that’s the solid connection between Saga and Puerto Rico.

  • Saturday April 23, 2022- I just watched SAGA singer MICHAEL SADLER perform with his current side band PROGJECT. Just like his lead singing role in SAGA, Michael gave a command performance along with his crack bandmates, playing tribute to classic Prog acts: Gentle Giant YES King Crimson ELP GENESIS RUSH JETHRO TULL Mike Kenneally, guitarist, deftly manipulated the guitar solos of these songs with his own style, speed and power. His best bit was the solo played from KC'S "21st Century Schizoid Man!" Simply incredible, and needs to be seen as well as heard! PROGJECT will be back touring in the US this fall!

  • The LEGENDARY SAGA !!! Great album, the cover didn't do it for me, I was expecting a Silent Knight follow up, but the songs here made the album a true GEM !!! The first time they played here, someone said " They'll be landing in an UFO, it's going to be EPIC !!! " My mind was blown away...." A UFO ? " ( I Picture SAGA with some Rockin' Aliens from Star Wars, back then. kids had an endless imagination, remember that cartoon of a kid that day dream in class ? )....LOL

  • Danny, thank you for sharing this album again & love it. Has such a nice pop & new wave appeal with a futuristic vibe and a wonderous feel of symphonic melodies with the spark of guitar harmonies, nice vocals & great songs. We may be worlds apart, but we're close at heart!
