Well yeah...because this is a pretty poor comparison in terms of vehicle class. This car is meant to compete with the Porsche Panamera Turbo S or BMW M8 Competition. It's not surprising it's way more expensive.

M5 is a great car but the AMG 63 is on another level and category, only the M8 can compare to it.

@@ThDragonMachida I disagree I like the M5s interior more. What you saw there was the worst/cheapest speced interior of an M5 vs the most expensive spec of a gt4door. With all options the M5 is both better on tech and quality. Such as handstiched letter.

I took photos for a client who had the AMG GT 63s and it was my favorite, her brother has the m5 competition but I still think the AMG is better.
M5 is a competitor for e63, the M8 competition is a better comparison

@@alenibricic9899 you could also have the stunning white interior with the nice ambient light (which is standard in both cars) it just, for me atleast, is a better choice, the M5 that is with the light interior with the white seats and white accentes with the ambient light and the BMW things you get in the interior. But to be honest I love both cars, right now I am just more on the Beamer side lol

You guys killed (good killed lol) that intro! As an M5 owner (leaser actually), I drove the Merc and of course loved the interior design but felt the M5 was more aggressive and had better throttle response, less lag.

the information about the 0-100 and 0-200 of the m5 is every time in 3.3 and 10.8 or faster cause bmw says the baddest time they made from 0-100 .. of the m5 so normally is the m5 faster than 3.3 and 10.8 sec .of accleceration time
volche salo MT has already recorded normal M5 doing 2.8 seconds. BMW Blog reporter the same time for the M8 Gran Coupe Competiton. So similar numbers, just more beautiful bodywork on the M8

for 190K the GT 63 should blow away the M5 but unfortunately it does not! Another great video guys!
it's crazy how you can get a fully spec'd M5 for 130K.... and use the 60K extra for extreme tuning by DMS to make it even quicker.

Great Video. Two great cars! Two cars which are going to give nothing but trouble; but well worth the trouble of the German unreliability. I've been saying for 30 years; turbo and 4WD is the best combination in a car. Thow V8s have unlimited tuning possibilities. I must possess a M5 Competition soon.
