Adrian Peterson putting up a 1000 yard season and a 90+ yard TD run in his age 33 season is still one of the most random and impressive RB feats in the last decade
God bless you
Why didn’t you put me on top 10 plays of the week cookieboy?
With the absolutely atrocious angle anyone could of ran it for 90+ that game
Not really
And he finished the game with less than 100 yards
Derrick Henry has made these 90+ yards TD runs look less opportunistic and easy
Same could be said for many players in this video
For real. He's damned beast in traffic.
Facts #TitanUp
dude does Walter Payton did offseason run up hills that's why he is such a power runner
So true. Most of these are just "he sees a hole, he runs through it" but Henry's are both contentious until he reaches the goal line pretty much For me, that 99-yarder is the most impressive run in NFL history
9:24 That Garrison Hearst run was beasty and clutch what a run
Original beast mode run
The announcer called that play beautifully.
I was impressed how far down field the lineman #74 was blocking. His last block was like 60-65 yards down field.
@John Dough Lynch’s was not only better, it was iconic, it’s not even close. What are you talking about
@@steveaustin2686 That was Dave Fiore, who was blocking Jets LB Mo Lewis (#57). While Fiore ran untouched until that block downfield, Lewis was held up at the start of the play, only to break free in pursuit of Garrison Hearst.
Bo Jackson looks like he’s running with middle schoolers out there.
Auburn legend not Charles Barkley
I swear Bo was the only 1 of these runs where the runner got FASTER the last 20 yards than the first 20 yards.
Bo Jackson had an unreal combination of size and speed. Insane.
Man was a living mythical creature. Especially for his time.
@@tybhighlights7337 What a damn shame that a scrub Cincinnati Bengal ended his career.
Yes Bo was special but truth is Herschel Walker was in fact faster. Herschel ran a 10.23 legal FAT to Bo's 10.44. These are the facts. But Bo seemed to be better for some reason. Bo was a very fluid RB & Herschel was extremely stiff when he ran. Too many push-ups I believe. They said Bo barely worked out.
@@biggalaxy9102 faster on the track yes, definitely not faster than Bo on the field with pads... Video doesn't lie 🤷🏾♂️
@@bacchusthompson5834 lol the black emoji
Henry gotta be the fastest slow RB I’ve ever seen. It looks like he’s running terribly but ends up outpacing everyone haha 🤣 it’s so crazy
How true.
He has long strides
It's a deceptive speed. Long stride makes him look like he isn't running hard but he is moving. If he wasn't he would be caught.
@@Dr-Jan-itor I Like Derrick Henry's Running 💨 Speed
There was another kid as deceptively fast, "a mean motor scooter from Mississippi".
They're all impressive, but there's something different about Bo Jackson. Just wow, so explosive and ahead of his time. One of the greats..
He easily would have been the best...
That dude time traveled.
Both up the left sideline and he accelerated like the finest of sports cars
@@kayfuller7304 the safety has the angle on him to the sideline, and yet Bo somehow beats him there WHILE accelerating before turning upfield and hitting the jets. Seemingly effortless, and truly a sight to behold..
I loved running the ball with Bo Jackson in Tecmo Bowl.
Lamar Miller, Amhad Green, Chris Johnson and Derrick Henry with 2 90 plus yard runs. Damn that’s truly something.
I think Bo had 2 also
That last one by Derrick Henry to go 99 was the most impressive to me. He had to break, or stiff-arm his way out of several tackles once it got into the open field. Most of the others, once they broke away they were gone.
Was just thinking the same thing. No disrespect to Dorsett, he broke some tackles too, but Henry was fighting his way down the entire field. You just knew he wasn't going down though. Edit: just comparing the two 99 yarders. I think Hearst has the greatest run here.
idk man the garrison hearst one i had never even seen before today but he broke 2 tackles, stiff armed another dude, was in constant danger the whole time, and it was in OT
It's a great effort by Henry but holy shit was that Jaguars defense just trash on that play
@@woozie___ Dorsett didn't facemask anybody ( 12:00 ) on his, though. Also, watch the tight end with the death grip on #50. Were it not for the refs missing two obvious calls against the Titans on the same play, it otherwise would have never happened.
I agree but the garrison hearst one was very very close. Never seen that that before. I think the best of all time was Marshon lynch against the saints when he shedded abt 7 tackles to score.
Those Bo Jackson runs look like someone holding the turbo button down on the old 16 bit Madden games…incredible speed
G shit, Him , CJ2k & Of course fuckin Lamar Miller are insane. Lamar Miller ran from fuckin 97 yards wit 2 different teams🔥🔥🔥... Darrick Henry & CJ2K are a Madden Dream Tho Fasho, No Jackson was just a fuckin Track star among boys
man I'm amazed by Derrick Henry .. to be that big and to have that second gear to be able to pull away from defenders is just incredible.. best back in the game💯💯💯
Man, I hated Henry when he played for Bama, and my Vols couldn't contain such a monster, but I love him now! 😃
@@Just_Pele I went to the Bama Tennessee game this year and wore a Henry Bama jersey and these Tennessee guys told me they love him and he’s a beast. Glad we can agree on something lol.
calm down kid pulling away from linebackers and defensive linemen isn't that impressive.
@@Legendary-zh9hd What a stupid take. As if all the DBs just sit down on the field and eat sandwiches whenever Henry gets the ball. 😂🤣
@@Legendary-zh9hd There's countless highlights of him smoking DB's, but sure bud.
5:03 Hill is at - pretty much - a dead stop while the HB is nearing full speed. Despite this, Hill overtakes everyone and catches the runner well before the end zone.
Lol I was 100% looking for this comment
i was just watching that play, and all i could think was “good lord hill has to be the fastest player in the league he made pro athletes look so slow”
best part is damien williams is really fast
it was hilarious watching him fly past everyone into the screen at the very end
"On your left" -Tyreek Hill probably
The Garrison Hearst TD is my favorite all time run I remember when that happened live. Guy refused to go down and that stuff arm… so nasty.
Yea Garrison Hearst Had 1 of the most Madden Type runs ever
That stiff arm!!!!!!!
TO catches a lot of hate but he sprinted down and got the block to cap it off
4:43 Chris Johnson pulled his blocker into the danger lol! And he was totally ready!
Garrison Hearst run had it all. Derrick Henry on that last run with three monster stiff arms was beastly.
He barely made it so no I don't think so!
I agree 💯,by far the 2 most impressive on the list and that person talking about Travis Henry barely made it, let's see them do it, that run was impressive
That Garrison Hurst TD run was my favorite because of the effort that T.O was showing when he was blocking for him 🔥🔥
I think its the best on here because of the broken tackles/stiff arm and it was game winner in OT.
@@williamkelly8951 i agree, it's one of the greatest walk offs in nfl history
and credit to the linebacker who didn't catch Hearst in time but didn't give up on the play. Great run and effort from just about everyone involved which to me makes the run greater.
TO was a beast at blocking. You should see the highlights
HEY!!! Daniel Jones from my Giants had a 90 yard TD run!!!! Oh...wait....
Then Jason Garrett ruined anything jones did well.
That Bo Jackson Run and Speed right after 6:00 thou!!! Magnificent!!
Lamar Miller is underrated to have 2 TDs of 97 yards in his career is impressive wondering where is he now because I think the texans should still have him on are roster he clearly at less better the David Johnson
Ask flemlo raps
Now I forget either 2 or 3 seasons ago in the preseason against the cowboys he absolutely tore his knee up and tore everything. Last I heard he signed with the pats but got released. Look up the injury on youtube
I seen Barry Sanders break 80 yds twice in a game. 😭😭🤣🤣🤣🤣😭
He’s a free agent the saints had him on the practice squad I believe after kamara got hurt
Garrison Hearst and that run vs the Jets will always be legendary.
Shout out to the O-line + WR's blocking for making all this happen!
Thanks, just one word: COULD! GO! ALL! THE! WAY! - Chris Berman
Dat Pryor round was so saucy Damn!!
Watching that AP run sent everyone down memory lane
I always love stuff like this where it's enjoyable to watch normally and nice to turn on in the background while I'm doing work
Ty for this compilation of amazing runs of 90+ yards. Great to see the “old school” teams & players I grew up with again and more recent great runs as well. Remembered many but also saw some I had not seen as well.
Garrison Hearst: Imagine running 96-yards for the game winning TD and then your whole team dogpiles you when you need air the most
Great video. No obnoxious music, just the original calls by the commentators. Thanks.
Exactly. Too many tubers talking these days.
Bo Jackson and Derrick Henry make the list twice. Bo could have been the greatest of all time if he didn’t get hurt. Size, speed, and stride that couldn’t be stopped. What could have been…
Lamar Miller (never heard of him) and Ahmad Green too, but yeah I was thinking the same. I really wish I could have seen Bo have a full career.
@@blackjoker234 I would have loved to seen Gayle Sayers have a full career
@@eugenestewart4251 same, the dude was ridiculously good, just a different breed
@@blackjoker234 You think he's better than Demarco Murray?
Chris johnson mad it twice too
Henry's 99 yarder is the GOAT imo but Dorsetts, Bo Jackson's, and Barbers are all impressive in their own rights as well. Bo was insanely fast and Barber had outstanding patience and vision.
Henry is lucky to be in an Era where the NFL are horrific tacklers!
@@biggalaxy9102 OK so which "league" do you think has Legit tacklers? Since the NFL isn't good enough for you.
@@biggalaxy9102 ok and Bo played during an era where the majority of the league was bulky and slow. They wore giant shoulder pads and could barely run half the time. Do you hold this against Bo? I would assume not. Every era has things you could say, " oh so and so is lucky". Horrific tackling or not it's one of the best of all time.
The Hearst run was pretty nasty as well.
Bo taking tosses and pitches from the near hash, down the near sideline untouched, is simply ridiculous. And look at T.O in the Garrison Hearst clip get down the field to throw a block at the one yard line damn
Bo Jackson and Jamal Charles SPEED were ridiculous man 🤯🤯🤯
I remember watching that Garrison Hearst run as a kid with my boys. All Niners fans screaming Go! Go! Go!!! at the TV lol LEGENDARY.
Lamar Miller being the only RB ever to run for a 97 yard TD, and the fact he did it TWICE is mind boggling.
Tony Dorsett and Derrick Henry both ran for 99 yard td's.
@@paulklaes816 99 is not 97. Read the statement carefully lol
@@AngelGarcia-jc6ys thank you Angel, lol plus did they run that yardage twice?
Who gives a fuck
And for 2 different teams But 1 was against the Jets so I don't know if it should count' 🤣🤣
Chris Johnson using his Lineman as a sling shot, while throwing the lineman at a defender for the block was most impressive.
Imagine him & Darrick On Da Same team🔥
Poor guy got ran over by a 2nd defender too lol
Glad someone else saw that
@@KBem93 hell yea, I watched that play about 10 times in slow mo.
Bo Jackson looks so much faster than everyone else the fact he was 220 and ran a 4.13 is insane he would have been a HoF player in 2 sports had he not dislocate his hip
Him relegating a HOF player in his prime to the bench should be enough to get him in
If doctors did their job right he would’ve made a full recovery
Except theres no actual proog he ran the 4.13.
@@tradingstuff2120 theres always one hater
Bo knows!
2 Titans players with 2 90+ yard TD's. Plus in the era of devalued RB's. Crazy
Whatever coach saw Derrick Henry and decided “running back”… thank you.
A couple of cool things I noticed: 1) Tyrek Hill's speed catching up to his teammate at 5:03 2) Watching O.J. display his cutting and slashing skills...er never mind.
😆
Cutting and slashing...lol
Will never forget Tyrelle Pryor run …
It says something that Bo Jackson had two of these runs with such a short NFL career. I'd give a lot to see what he could have done with 8-9 more seasons. He probably wouldn't have ever been a yardage champion, but he would have had one of the greatest career highlight reels ever.
I watched Bo Jackson as a kid and I guarantee you that he would be within top 3 rushers of all time. He was so fast that he always out run the defense or some cases just run over them. He was a truck on the field
I agree, watching Bo when I was young being dual sport like Deion. I seen him as the better player n Deion was a great athlete but Bo was another level. I’m not sure if correct but he quit cause a freak hip injury. Bo didn’t really train either. He was … he was Bo n Bo knows archery lol
I think your watching him with D. Henry tbh
Should have had 3. Got caught at the 1 vs Bengals.
Bo knows steroids.
This made me realize how rare this is and now i appreciate it way more.
Tony Dorsett's run was 99 2/3 yards and the Cowboys only had 10 men on the field for the play.
First time I've seen TDs name mentioned. He was the best homerun hitter in football with his speed. Just no respect here for him in the comments for his talents. Can't figure that out. TD was a good they come.
@@73Trident He suffers from recency bias.
I'll never forget that Garrison Hearst run. "Throws off bodies like clothes after a marathon!" 🤣
Love the last one with Henry throwing off that pathetic Jaguar defense like rag dolls.😂😂
Bo Jackson running was powerful and the speed was incredible!
I remember as a BUCS fan, Barry Sanders going 80+ tds twice against us in one game... He was absolutely filthy
he once did it on back to back plays. but one was called off on a penalty.
Ah yeah, ask John Lynch about those runs if I'm not mistaken he had opportunities to make a tackle on both of those runs by Barry Sanders, imo he was one of the if not greatest backs of All Time, subpar O line his entire career. Incredible ability to make people miss and not take the big hits, if the Lions had done better in the front office, he would easily have more all time yardage than Emmitt Smith
No both runs were touchdowns I watched Barry's entire career when I lived in Michigan he got 2 for 80 plus in the same game, wasn't no penalties calling anything back
Ahman Green was SO underrated, the man was nothing but SPEED! Look at the way he runs vs other RB's, his head is not moving, it's almost no effort for him to run that 98 yards. My favorite player in the Madden games too, just so freaking fast!
Facts, but was much more than just a ‘speed’ RB. Dude had it all.
These are all great runs. Forgot how awesome Bo Jackson was and I always respected Warrick Dunn’s toughness for a guy that was only 185 lbs and managed to play running back for a dozen years in the NFL.
the only thing more impressive than Dunns career is what he has done since he retired...building an giving houses to single mothers is next level....
Warrick Dunn: great athlete, even better human.
And Dunn loved to run it up the gut and he was really good at it. Watching him and Alstott was a treat.
Can we take a moment to appreciate Cam Jordan sprinting 90 yards down the field, and almost catching Jamaal Charles?? 🔥🔥 4:00
For a guy the size of Cam, it's most certainly impressive. Especially considering Charles was far from slow
He didn't "almost" catch him he was like 10 yards behind him but yeah great effort
@@Trollololololful You're completely right he wasn't, but when you consider that Charles playing weight was around 195-200lbs and Jordan typical is between 275-285lbs roughly it's a pretty impressive that Cam was able to even get within 10 yards of Charles all things considering.
not so fun fact: Adrian Peterson finished that game with under 100 rushing yards. 9 for 98.
He ran for 70 the week before he broke the single game rushing record and only 45 the week after. What's your point?
@@aw1889 he had a run that was over 90 and still didn't get over 100 for the game. that was their point. duh
@@JB-423 Exactly. Usually 90 yards in one play would make at least for for 150+ yard game. So technically he had a bad game minus that one play. It's just an interesting fact, it ain't that complicated 🤣
Probably because the refs starting calling the holding penalties. hehe
So basically had a few rushes for negative yards, still doesn't diminish the accomplishment
I watched that Tony Dorsett run, what they didn't show was that the nose of the ball was 2 inches from his own goal line, will never forget that run.
Here's another interesting fact about his 99 yd run. According to Dorsett, the Cowboys only had 10 men on the field for that play!
Damien Williams’ 91 yarder represents 6.5% of his career total. But then again, it’s a rare feat. A 90+ yard run has only happened 37 times in NFL history.
Tyreek Hill catching up to, and outpacing, Damien at 5:11 onwards, will always be funny to me
Whose Damien Hill?
Bo Jackson's speed is unmatched
7:18 O.J. Simpson looked like he was running on air. What a smooth stride. EDIT: I wish I could've watched Bo Jackson play. 2:59 He turned the corner and was already full speed. Incredible.
Thank you for recognizing The Juice's fluidity and World-class speed.
@@24gmj2010 "The Juice", haha. I forgot about that nickname. Hilarious.
He was really good running through airports, too!
@@carrite Yes, but he went and did a horrible thing.
The defense on Henry's 99 yd run wasn't nearly as bad as almost every other one of these. He's just such a freak that he's tossing grown men like they're babies to out work them for that 99. What a beast.
Imagine if Bo Jackson never received that trouble injury. He would have been the greatest RB in NFL history.
That Derrick Henry run was something else. I don't even remember Lamar Miller... There HAVE to be some more 90 yard runs from the last century, when football was more run-oriented.
I just love how the receivers catch up to the rb ghosting the whole secondary and ushering them to the inzone 😂 🤣
Jamaal Charles is like a 4.35 guy Chris Johnson is like a 4.24 guy Bo Jackson has to be a 4.2 guy the crazy part is the other two are under 200lbs😯
Reports he ran a 4.13!!!
Tony Dorsett's 99 yards was with only ten Cowboys on the field, and the play wasn't even supposed to be for him. The guy not on the field was supposed to get it.
LOL Garrison Hearst.. “He throws off tacklers like clothes after a marathon” Great call
When Chris Johnson was with the Titans no one could catch him! He was a big play waiting to happen!
Should've won the MVP.
Hills speed to catch up with Damien Williams is nuts. He literally bursts and catches him like nothing.

There was more than a few impressive runs on this list. The one that blew me away was the Garrison Hearst run though. Seemed like he fought for every yard and wouldn’t be denied.
Henry's bullish straight arms are a thing of beauty, the defenders look like pop Warner players.
