  • Deion Sanders was the complete package as a cornerback/wideout/return specialist as a player. This is why he wanted to teach Travis Hunter how to play both sides of the ball. Can’t nobody play like Prime Time! Quarterbacks were scared to throw the ball towards him because they can get intercepted by him. When he scores a touchdown, he will do his Primetime Shuffle.

      @Antwanh5@Antwanh52 жыл бұрын
    • @@IKEBULLTV he was quiet a good tackler, he used his speed and common sense to tackle, mostly just got in the way of ball carriers but he really was as good as anybody against the run because he came up so quickly in run support. He was not a thumper, but I don’t know of many sane mature DB’s who intentionally get in front of a 225 pound running back with a full head of steam. Attacking from the flank or feigning injury are far better alternatives if a long career is something you want. LOL. I’d forgotten how good he was returning kicks and punts. He would hunt for that crease and hit it at just the right time. He probably figured how to perfect that tactic as a boy and by time he was in the NFL it was so second nature to him that he was damn near indefensible as a returner. And he is an example of the tremendous advantage you have as the fastest player on the field, a lot can be done if no one can keep up with you. Can’t coach speed.

He almost had nearly 2 MORE INTERCEPTIONS over Rocket Ishmael, by out running & racing him to the ball 🏈!!! That's sooo crazy how MUCH MORE FASTER DEION REALLY WAS, than all the other known speed demons like Rocket. The crazy thing about Deion, is that he never ever trained for speed or trained to get faster like other fast receivers would do. He just had that God given natural unbelievable speed in his genetic makeup. Just imagine if he were to actually trained for speed????!!😱

  • These highlights are the best I've seen of prime because it doesn't just show his touch downs or interceptions... It shows how much of a problem he was and always a inch from having way more touch downs and interceptions... If they counted everytime he got a hand on the ball and maybe didn't bring it in then it would probably be waaaaaaaay more than the nearest player...

  • Deion was so good....he was flat out scary. I wouldn't throw on his side...unless I had Rice or Moss.

    • I think Deion was more successful covering Rice than Irvin. This is funny since we all know that Rice was the WR GOAT. Maybe Deion had problems with Irvin game style.

  • Not a Cowboys fan but there we're just two players love watching Hollywood Henderson linebacker and Deion (prime time)sanders. Hollywood Henderson was a prime time before a prime time but Deion sanders took it to another level on and off the playing field Deion was and still one of the greatest player ever at his position C/B 👏 prime would shutdown every receiver who was line up against him 90% of the TIME DEION SANDERS the beast .Colorado buffs ur coach is the greatest player ever Deion (prime time) sanders.JSU FORMAL coach prime 2 championship for jackson state university.

  • I have to admit I had somewhat bought I to the narrative that Deion wasn't a physical player but this video totally disproves that to me. No he wasn't laying dudes out, but he would stick em when necessary, and spent most of his time going for the ball. I wonder if anybody ripped at the ball that much after the catch before Deion. Now every DB does it. He could talk all he wanted because he truly backed it up on the field. Amazing player.

    • So if i show you a video of a running back running in for a touchdown, you will come to the conclusion that ALL that rb did was run in for a touchdown on every play? Weird.
