Drishyam 2 explores the fear of discovery within Rani and Anju since they don't know where the body is buried. Drishyam 2 finally gives an end to their fear by Georgekutty destroying Varun's skeletal parts and giving a portion of Varun's parts to Varun's parents to do their rituals. Investigational aspects of the film were only done after Jeethu Joseph consulted with forensic experts which Jeethu explained in interviews.

  • Years ago when I walked into the theatre I had no idea what I was about to watch and what impact this film would have on Indian cinema. I remember each scene so vividly. I remember walking out of that theatre in awe. This is peak cinema, this story is magic and mohanlal is a magician. Malayalam cinema continues to amaze me each day, as I write this four movies have again released that have rocked the industry. Just love this film man.

I kinda got the idea because I had watched the Hindi Drishyam :D It is only later I got to know about the Malayalam version of it and got to know how great Mohanlal is.. So I thought to watch it. I am certainly amazed :) :)

  • ഞാൻ 2013 പ്ലസ് വണ്ണിൽ പഠിക്കുമ്പോൾ ദൃശ്യത്തിന്റെ ട്രൈലെർ കണ്ടപ്പോൾ ഒരു സാധരണ കുടുംബ സിനിമയാണെന്നാണ് തോന്നിയത്.. ദൃശ്യത്തിന്റെ റിലീസിന്റെ ആദ്യ ദിവസം റിപ്പോർട്ട്‌ വന്നപ്പോഴത്തേക്കും അതിശയിച്ചുപോയി. ഒരു അടിപൊളി ത്രില്ലെർ പടമാണെന്ന് കേട്ടു..പിന്നീട് തീയേറ്ററിൽ പോകാൻ കാത്തിരുന്നു.. ഞാൻ ഓർക്കുന്നുണ്ട് ആ ദിവസം.. വീട്ടുകാര് എന്നെ ഒരു കല്യാണത്തിന് പോകാൻ നിർബന്ധിച്ചുവിട്ടു. ഒറ്റക്കായിരുന്നതുകൊണ്ടു പോകാൻ തോന്നിയില്ല,കല്യാണത്തിനു കയറാതെ ഞാൻ തീയേറ്ററിൽ പോയി ദൃശ്യം കണ്ടു.. ജിത്തു ജോസെഫിന്റെ ഒരടിപൊളി ത്രില്ലെർ.. ആദ്യാവസാനം മുഴുനീള ആകാംഷ ഉണർത്തുന്ന തിരക്കഥ.... ഏട്ടന് കുറെ പടങ്ങളുടെ പരാജയത്തിന് ശേഷം കിട്ടിയ വൻ വിജയം..ഓൾടൈം ഇൻഡസ്ട്രിയൽ ഹിറ്റ് ബ്ലോക്കബ്സ്റ്റർ ഹിറ്റ് ദൃശ്യം.. എത്ര തവണ കണ്ടാലും മതിയാകില്ല..

  • I was one of the first person to see this gem back in 2013. Film had very average expectations. I still remember that day. I was jobless and wanted to see a movie. Booked morning 9 am show at pvr lulu edapally. Hardly 40% capacity inside theatre. I believe this morning 9am show was the one of the first shows in world since multiplex wasn’t that common then in Kerala and pvr lulu was opened only few months back.. A movie which started as a simple family one took and turn and rest is history. Still remember that 50 year old uncle sitting nearby clapping and cheering for lalettan after that climax twist kick 🔥.. pure gem by Jeethu Joseph

  • Yesterday I watched drishyam 2. This was the first malayalam movie I have ever watched. I have watched the first part as hindi remake. I used to think that why kerala people are die hard fan of mohanlal as honestly I didn't find him very handsome or typical muscular action star. But my opinion got changed yesterday itself after watching drishyam 2 (my first malayalam movie). Hats off to mohanlal sir. You are incomparable and have given me a great lesson for lifelong.     • I have one suggestion that all the regional movies should be available with English, hindi and other language subtitles as well so that a very huge audience who want to enjoy the quality cinema can get benefited. Usually they provide dubbed version but it kills the soul of the movie. As a country we are moving forward and people want original and excellent content that should be be available to everyone while keeping the integrity of the original content
