Food is the only thing California has that entirely triumphs other states on. Luckily I have great food in my state, but I don’t have smash burgers *THAT* good looking and apparently tasty among many other specific cravings that LA has to offer. No wonder so many amazing restaurants start there. If I’m ever in the neighboring states like I am more often, I may make a road trip for that and book it back across the border. I’ve been to California once because residents say it’s not as bad as portrayed, but it’s even worse, I’ve never felt that unsafe before.

L.A is a burger town first and foremost, no other city has as many burger joints that are good. As someone that serviced restaurants all around the L.A area, there's too many burger spots to name that are good. Tommy's, InNout, Fat burger, Carl's Jr, McDonald's, Fosters Freeze all chains that originated there.

Food is the only thing California has that entirely triumphs other states on. Luckily I have great food in my state, but I don’t have smash burgers *THAT* good looking and apparently tasty among many other specific cravings that LA has to offer. No wonder so many amazing restaurants start there. If I’m ever in the neighboring states like I am more often, I may make a road trip for that and book it back across the border. I’ve been to California once because residents say it’s not as bad as portrayed, but it’s even worse, I’ve never felt that unsafe before.

L.A is a burger town first and foremost, no other city has as many burger joints that are good. As someone that serviced restaurants all around the L.A area, there's too many burger spots to name that are good. Tommy's, InNout, Fat burger, Carl's Jr, McDonald's, Fosters Freeze all chains that originated there.

The best I’ve ever had was at La Boucherie in Orlando, FL. Their Frenchie Burger made me almost cry from its amazing taste.

@@goat8071 Not a chance. Smashing a patty ruins the flavor of the meat so that you have to drown it in seasoning or it's shit. It's normally done for low quality cuts of meat.

I had It and Freddy's is way better and has way more menu items. I moved from Arizona so I don't get it anymore but I still dream of the thin fries and that sauce.

@@dbnation35 I don't know, decided not to go after looking at the menu prices. I'm just not rich enough to spend $10 on a double and $4.50 on fries and many more $s on a drink. What he is showing is the Jalapeno Monster and that $12.50 for a double burger. For me who doesn't earn $45/hr, that's a bit rich for a lunch.
