    • @ Kevin Michael Kappler ! How many estimate of Iranian people all together in all those videos that you have seen regarding this so called protest would you say are ? 10000 , 100000 , 1 million !!!? Have you seen videos of pro government that come out on street of cities of iran ? If you are not a bios person by seeing pro government videos you can tell at least who represents absolute majority! Never mind the ballet box results in past 20-40 years ! And yet you still think few people from all sort of reasons are Iranian people!!! Body Iran has 85-90 million population! At least 70 million of them are above age of 15 ! What gives you right to assume these few in pro western mainstream corporate media are “ All Iranian People “ !? The truth can’t be changed by propaganda! Whether we are pro government in Tehran or anti government in Iran ! I myself am anti government policies in Iran that doesn’t mean l blindly except any lies and propaganda spread by western corporate mainstream media and their social media ! By the way Kevin ! Iran isn’t either Yugoslavia or Syria ! Your calculations are wrong thinking you can turn Iran to Syria or Balkanize Iran just like Yugoslavia and Libya because of few simple unrest at best with pretty slogans such as ; women , life and freedom! You don’t speak the language of Iranian perhaps hence you don’t know what they are saying in Iranian language amongst themselves! I Do and definitely they aren’t Pro all Women’s right other wise they wouldn’t attack a women minister of Iran in Denmark or attacked those women who have different opinions in many cases ! They also don’t look for life ! They haven’t even overthrown the government in Iran and yet they are talking about hanging their opposition from lamps’ post and trees!!! And when you asked them would you do it even if the opposition numbers would be as high as 10-20 millions ! And they say without any doubt! who cares how many of them there are ! We hang them all ! As for freedom! Asked them what do they mean by freedom!!!? Would they respect individual freedom and freedom of religious! Most of them would say only those who agree with them ! In my personal experience! I find them fascist raciest arrogant ignorant groups out side of Iran that don’t represent our values! Such as democracy, freedom and human’s right never mind women’s rights! One of their popular slogans in Farsi is “ Ma hame Ariaee hastim Arab nemiparastim “ which translate in English to “ we all are Arian and we don’t pray and like Arabs ethnicity “ even though maybe if I am not mistaken we “ Iran “ has 5% Arab ethnicity in south western of Iran ! So don’t tell me firstly they represent all Iranian people and don’t tell me they fight for righteousness such as ; Women life and freedom!

If there are questions about death of Mahsa Amini, there is no doubt about a American Palestinian woman shot in a day light in front of a live show ! Yet I didn’t see any comments from people like you which claim are supporter of human’s rights and women rights! That is the question! Not that whether the government of Iran has legitimacy or not ! It’s up to the people of Iran to decide of their government legitimacy at ballet boxes not you or your kind which obviously have a certain political agenda! By the way! If any individual or group use violence and brute force to achieve a certain political agenda according to Webster dictionary or any other dictionary called terrorism! So stop your double standard in case of Charlie Hebdo! You call them terrorist and your enforcement kill them like dogs on street of Paris and in case of Iran you called them protestors!!!

    • @@marina12345678911000 people of Iran (or any country) is a phrase (or let's say shortened phrase) that indicates all the common people of Iran. Usually meaning low and middle class, although a lot of times meaning just the low and lower middle class. Languages work differently with words i. e. if you wish someone "happy evening" it's (again) shortened version of "I hope that you enjoy this evening". Find better excuse to attack someone than you not understanding basics in the language you're using. That said, especially to attack Palestinians which suffered enough during the past 50 years and which situation is looking even more grim lately. Also if this person is from Palestine it doesn't necessarily means he/she supports Hamas. It's like if you said Iranians support Irani government. Gosh.

Yes it is ok to ask them if they support the people. Yet your comment was (from my understanding) more of an attack on the people than genuine question. associating them with the terrorist group/government based on their nationality and thus I had the need to defend them. I am not a Christian but I clearly remember the proverb about Jesus that tells a crowd only those who haven’t sin dare pick up the stone! Yet you are a Christian ( well just in name and because you born in a society that the major beliefs is base on Christianity) and yet don’t practice the most simple commandment of Jesus ! As a atheist I don’t have a problem with people of faith actually I respect them if they act base on what their preach but I have a enormous disagreement with those who under pretext of any ideology just blindly promoting ignorance and arrogance! No one claim any government or any society is perfect but compare to your hypocrisy and history Iranian government is much more legitimate than yours ! And if you really believe in Justice, equality and freedom! You should try to open your mind and engage in dialogue instead of spreading false narrative and lies and deceit! Remember what happened in Iraq base on false Few western narrative mostly NATO’s countries when they lied about WMD in Iraq ! A million innocent Iraqis died ! Including Christian Iraqis! So think and research your claims before jumping into conclusions because it’s more easier to listen to your corporate global imperialist mainstream media’s propaganda instead of fact searching or researching the facts and evidence! I know thinking is hard ! But even a man of faith can prove there is no contradiction between logic and beliefs!

    • @@glennwatson3313 yes, thanks, but during the past 44 years, US could stand stronger against the Ayatollahs. Like the atomic deal through which US gave 150 billions dollars to them. Although that money was our wealth, but it was given to these corrupt terrorists and nothing was spent on our people but to expand the regime’s terrors. US still can stand much stronger and more demanding. Believe me, mullahs fear the US like a raccoon fear the lion. Whenever US acted tough, they backed off and whenever US got loose they got bold. US can politically and effectively support the people in Iran so that we can get rid of this mafia regime sooner. We don’t need a war or military movement but just avoid doing business and dealing with this corrupt murdering regime who has no morals and doesn’t care about Iranians at all. We have nothing in common with them. They’ll be gone soon. Remember that our revolution has just started and the idea of removing this regime is this much widespread just since 5 years ago. Before that, we thought we could have reforms. But we got to know that there is no reforms possible within this regime. So don’t get deceived that we wanted this regime. From the day one, this regime was never chosen and never liked and got and remained in power just by bloodshed. They are a black point in our 7000 years history nothing more. They’re Evils sent upon us.

  • Usually I look for description more than just "people vs gov". I wish there was more description of the opposition parties/groups/factions/etc. and how the protests are organized; and what the protestors did (likely many peaceful, some not). Otherwise, it is very difficult to ascertain what actually happened there. Typically, many political forces take leverage in cases like this one and the reality is usually more complicated. Wrongful death happens in a lot of places on Earth and all of them should be prosecuted to the fullest extent. But it is a big jump from a wrongful death to riots that could easily get many more people killed. Every action will be a forced move in a riot; and you would know why when you had been in one. People who too casually push an already marginal society beyond its safety redline also deserve serious examinations. There are usually many different undercurrents and that's what I would look for from news. Lives are not cheap and one shouldn't value one live way more than hundred others who might not want to be dragged into the abyss in the first place. We should respect lives in all cases and be really careful of the way and the method we use to shape the world.
