I ate some Coconut Crab while stationed on Guam at a Guamanian friends house in the jungle. He boiled it a very long time and used a hammer and vise to crack the shell. The crab meat was totally purple in color. They had a tiny Zoo on Guam that claimed to have a 40 pounder! I never saw it though. I can understand why they are protected because that is the best tasting crab on Earth! They would all be gone huh?

Love your content Brodie, living the best life! Have a recipe I'd be chuffed to see you try out. Korean gochujang sticky sauce 5 garlic cloves minced/diced 10g fresh ginger minced/diced 50g light brown sugar 60g rice wine vinegar 60g honey 30 - 50g Korean chilli paste (gochujang) 30g ketchup 15g dark soy sauce 15g sesame oil Sesame seeds and chopped spring onion to garnish Add all ingredients into a pot and heat & stir until hot and sticky. Use immediately or place in a container to reheat at a later time. Use sauce to coat fried chicken, squid, fish etc and garnish with sesame seeds and spring onion. Highly recommend putting this sauce on crispy fried squid. Is absolutely delicious and can be prepared in advance and taken on a trip away and reheated!

I ate some Coconut Crab while stationed on Guam at a Guamanian friends house in the jungle. He boiled it a very long time and used a hammer and vise to crack the shell. The crab meat was totally purple in color. They had a tiny Zoo on Guam that claimed to have a 40 pounder! I never saw it though. I can understand why they are protected because that is the best tasting crab on Earth! They would all be gone huh?

Korean gochujang sticky sauce 5 garlic cloves minced/diced 10g fresh ginger minced/diced 50g light brown sugar 60g rice wine vinegar 60g honey 30 - 50g Korean chilli paste (gochujang) 30g ketchup 15g dark soy sauce 15g sesame oil Sesame seeds and chopped spring onion to garnish Add all ingredients into a pot and heat & stir until hot and sticky. Use immediately or place in a container to reheat at a later time. Use sauce to coat fried chicken, squid, fish etc and garnish with sesame seeds and spring onion. Highly recommend putting this sauce on crispy fried squid. Is absolutely delicious and can be prepared in advance and taken on a trip away and reheated!
