    • ​@@Chickenface12345You know that supermarket food comes from processes where various animals are killed (especially in the vegetable and fruit industry) and where they greatly contaminate the environment (I'm talking about both the meat and vegetable food industries) It is much better for the environment and animal life itself to hunt or fish in the wild than to support supermarkets, I am not telling you not to eat from supermarkets or anything, I do it myself, but don't go criticizing the guy for hunting and fishing.

I think he knows the difference between the turtle and your board, I'm guessing that was a little territorial bite to get you away from his tortuga. I saw that clip a while ago but thankfully he didn't "mistake" you for the tortuga when you were knocked off the board. You Aussies crack me up and provide us with all sorts of entertainment.   • The turtle using you to escape is 100% a good analysis imo - I've seen them do crazy smart shit under pressure! Also massive thanks for not forgetting that the shark did nothing wrong: it's almost always us humans who are intruding. What a spectacular way to get across the right message!

    • Yes, the shark did nothing wrong, but we are not "intruding". We are very creative animals that can explore almost every environment on Earth. Its what evolution has equipped us for and it is totally natural.

    • @@JohnyG29 I get your point, and it's a great feeling (I'm an avid freediver myself) but it's also important to note that *technology* has equipped us for environments where evolution has prevented us from living. Underwater exploration, for instance, is only a few decades old, discounting prototypes and pioneers. And this idea that we *should* go everywhere just because we can, so to speak, has motivated incredibly "intruding" (and destructive) endeavours these last few centuries. Think deep-sea mining or rainforest logging for instance. However, we are a species that "disperses", as do snakes and wolves, which means that each generation goes living a bit further that the last. So we are born explorers indeed!
