U can clearly see at the end whe his deburring the inside that he has done another pass and cleaned it up flat.

Are you going to finish milling it until it's even or is there not enough material until you get into the throat?

Definitely not a machinist! Edge finder, you mean indicator and it's a deburring tool not a trimming tool too!

My edge finder has a flat bottom. I use it to check my Z. This is the way I do it, I do have some indicators. I thought it was easier this way but you probably have tools in not away of.

@@turbolabamerica Easier than an indicator, you have to be joking right. Plus it tells you immediately how good the surface is, and the amount to remove. You cannot get that from an edge finder.
