The most incredible , talented and versatile vocalist in the world !!!
That final note is the most astonishing thing I've ever seen a vocalist do. To be working in such a tiny space in the stratosphere of his voice, never waver even the tiniest bit on the flawless pitch, and still be able to command vibrato, volume, and intensity within that tiny space - it's just otherworldly.
Gosh he literally stops time. I don't know why, but he makes me stop breathing. How can a male sing like this, blows my mind🎆

You have to really respect someone who is born with a gift but works tirelessly, every day of their lives, to improve that gift and not take it for granted. I don't care if you're a fan of his music or not, just for that reason he deserves respect.

So was this version of Ave Maria by Schubert or Bach, or Igor Krutoy? I understand that it was a piece of instrumental music before it became a prayer, Ave Maria, or Hail Mary, in the Catholic church. That Dimash, a Muslim, vocalises the piece instead of singing words, may reflect back to how the piece originated or align with his religious beliefs, or both. Maybe we will never know...

This song is just angelical. It’s amazing to hear a male vocalist who can sing like a baritone and like a soprano effortlessly. Only DiMASH can do that. You should check, El Amor en Ti. It was composed by Dimash and his first song in Spanish. Amazing song that will give you a lot of material to discuss. I don’t want to give you more clues because you must discover by yourself. Notice at the beginning when Dimash is getting ready to sing you hear the heartbeat slowing down before stopping then Dimash sings its like the passing of life to be greeted by the angels. To me this is the closest you will get to heaven without going there. Even though this isn't the Catholic Prayer version it still gets the message across beautifully

There is a short video clip on you tube from a few years ago that shows Dimash working with his voice coach on the technique he used in the last note.
After over 3000 performances of this song, Igor and Dimash transformed it to a song that conveys beauty, and compliments the range Dimash has... makes it so very unique and different. Even though Dimash has been taking vocal lessons since the age of five, he worked with a vocal coach so he would/could do the very end of the song, those two last notes, perfectly. It's a very difficult technique.

@@JohnWarner-lu8rq We have some people just plain making things up out there, I'd verify first 😅 Either way, this was his first public performance of the song, how many times he practiced beforehand is *probably* not down in writing somewhere.

He makes it so easy. I have been practicing this song for the last 6 months, although in much lower key, and still only can do 25% of what we see here. I can’t seem to get into that flawless transition that flows so freely from one frame to the next.

So glad to see you doing a Dimash reaction and analysis again! You were one of the first reactors I came upon when I first discovered Dimash about a year and a half ago. I didn't really know anything about singing and I was trying to figure out if he was really as good as people were saying he was. Watching your videos helped convince me that he was and also taught me a lot about how the voice works and why Dimash is so good. I hope you will do many more reactions to his songs!

Я бы посоветовал послушать его песню которую он делал 3 года. Под названием "The story one sky" там он использует как мне кажется большую часть своего мастерства (но не всю) всё что вы слышали до этого, это круто, но то что он творит в одной песне, это просто поражает!

Its' name is THE STORY OF ONE SKY. It's all his production. He is the composer, he performs it and he is the main character in the video (13 min long). It took him 3 years to finish it. This is a very profound message to humanity. And don't watch the fancam version (live) before you watch the MV, because you won't get the message. The second song is EL AMOR EN TI (spanish). If I'm not mistaken, this “Ave Maria” by composer and conductor Igor Krutoy is a work in vocalize format, completely unpublished, although it seems to be a variation of the initial theme (not the introduction but the singing part) of the melody by Schubert adapted to Dimash's voice in order to explore just as three initial notes and changing the fourth note to a higher note (From B4, A4 D#4 C#4 and B4 to G#4, G4, G4, D#5): Like a leap from "dark to light" which is the same contrast as Dimash's outfit (from dark to light)! It also seems to refer to the Russian V. Vavilov's version of "Ave Maria" (wrongly credited to Caccine) and work by JS Bach - Prelude No. 1 in C major, BWV 846, with arrangements by Gounod, which Maetro Igor Krutoy has a predilection for!
