  • Your "speechless" reaction is as legitimate and heartfelt (and familiar) as any ! A German reactor who was recently stunned by first listening to Dimash tried to speculate on why we are speechless. She said (paraphrasing) that his voice appeals so much to our emotions, our feelings, that the brain simply shuts down; so no words are possible. It is as good an explanation for the mystery of Dimash as any! Thank you for your beautiful reaction to Ave Maria, which actually spoke volumes.

    • Not much can be more beautiful than this but if anything is it is how it came to exist. When he first started working with Igor Krutoy and Igor asked him what he wanted to sing, Dimash asked him to write him a prayer for the world.

      @user-jm5hf7fp8v@user-jm5hf7fp8v10 ай бұрын
    • Dimash asked Igor Krutoy to write a song as a prayer for all nations - written by a Russian Jew and sung by a devout Muslim, this is not a prayer to Mary - that is part of the Catholic faith

      @gracelatour3441@gracelatour344110 ай бұрын
    • Dimash did a vocalisation of this "Christian prayer" rather used actual words. As a Muslim he can do this.

      @bengmelea8646@bengmelea864610 ай бұрын
    • It is an Ave Maria, which is a prayer to Mary, the universal mother. It’s a Christian sound written by a Jew and sung by a Muslim, it couldn’t be more appropriate as a prayer for humanity. That it’s sung without words makes it accessible to anyone and everyone. I don’t think a stronger power than this exists which could unite and bind every human that hears it into the global family. It’s beauty and call to the soul has no barriers.

Самое главное свойство голоса Димаша это достижение всех точек,каждого уровня души и сердца.Очищая,улучшая,переводя нас на другой уровень самасознания.Мы незаметно меняемся в лучшую сторону. Dimash takes us to unknown places, high up in the stratosphere, where only he and his angelic, unique, most beautiful and versatile vocals can exist. His voice heals pain and gives so much comfort, encourages us. No necessity to understand, just enjoy! He was given by God, that's what his name (Qudaibergen) says.

  • Dimash is completely into the song (into the prayer), he IS archangel Gabriel foretelling Maria she will be the mother of the son of God... the song begins with the softness and tenderness to calm her down, not to be afraid of his amazing presence, then he proceeds to announce God's will (The Annunciation), that she will conceive his son, and unleashes all the power of his voice, and he goes to an overwhelming finale with the sadness of her child's destiny...

Before it started I was flesh and blood, at the end I am one big jelly and tears in my eyes. I can't tell you how many times I have heard Dimash sing Ave Maria - but LIVE, it drained me! The concert lasted three and half hours and Dimash was just incredible with every song and every aspect of performance, musicianship, energy, sincerity, humility. • HOW DIMASH CAME TO BE DIMASH by yours truly, Erik. Written in a moment of Dimash inspired, contemplation - contemplative reverie, which I am sure you share with me. AND THEN, the fateful day arrived when Dimash asked God. "Father, may I please go down to earth for a lifetime and sing for the people there?" God frowned, looked dismayed and sternly said - with dark clouds, thunder and lighting ominously flashing in the background: "You mean, instead of singing for me every morning, night and day, that I will have to do without you, be deprived, made bereft? And, what about the Celestial Angels? Who's going to teach them how to sing if you aren't here? Do you realize? How much you are asking of me - to give up?" Dimash smiled and said. "Father, you always did have a wonderful sense of humor and knew how to make me smile but, you are too kind, and I unworthy of such high praise yet needless to say, honored and grateful, but in terms of eternity one lifetime away from You won't seem like that much and don't think I won't miss You too. But, this is important to me. The world's going through a hard time now and maybe I can help with my singing to lighten, lift things and people up a bit. Besides, you can always listen in whenever you wish, as we both know." God replied: "OH, OK! Have things your way, but don't think for a second I'm going to like it!" God said smiling.

  • Alex Some quick background on this particular Ave Maria. This was performed at the new wave competition with Dimash as a guest singer in 2021. A few months before this August debut of this song, including Stranger, and fly away, Dimash called Igor Krutoy the man at the piano Who has collaborated with him since 2018. He is a billionaire Russian/Ukrainian record producer and star maker and composer. Dimash asked him to come up with an aria and he probably requested certain octaves. And probably requested a three minute aria. Igor said he went to work that very night and sent the aria to Dimash a few nights later. Dimash loved it, and you just witnessed the results of a collaboration of two men who are extremely important and essential for the musical world we live in right now. We understand your tenderness during the viewing of this reaction. I remember saying after it was over “this is a song that should’ve been heard around the world… Live.”

This is a neo-classical version by the genius composer Igor Krutoy who can write the most lyrical melodies and refrains. It’s is Krutoy’s music that gives Dimash wings to fly. Together the make actual magic happen. Every. Single. Time. Don’t apologize - we all feel the same even after watching it 29 times or more. The way he manages the build of anticipation, his stage presence, his play across carefully calibrated dynamics and progression and the very large technical 'toolkit' he has developed over now almost 25 years of Daily training. Thirdly; It's unwise to believe that you now have a handle on what Dimash is all about, what he can do, because he will always surprise you! Fourth: it's normal to find yourself wordless, breathless, teary, with goose bumps during a Dimash performance. And finally; coming back to your first point; many have compared Dimash's instrument, his voice, especially some notes in his higher register, as very 'like a fine violin', or even an electric guitar, or both. So - you are quite right; he does pluck your / our 'strings'. 😍😊 { # Note; The Story of One Sky - is something different. It is not a music video, but a mini movie with a maxi-anti-war message. There are graphic scenes, so anyone who is a Veteran should be forewarned in case you want to skip this, and if so, then maybe just down load the Lyrics, For everyone else it really is an important contribution.]

  • When Dimash sings, music becomes different. Truly, it grabs you up and pours you out! I've never listened to this kind of music until I heard Dimash about 5 years ago, and I haven't been able to stop. I can't even listen to what I used to listen to and when call it music. Dimash sings from the soul, and that's different, and only God almighty can give someone a voice like this.

I guess his parents taught him to be empathetic too. Our human condition is what Dimash seems to have in his sights when he performs. His aim is spot on. BTW...Vivaldi rocks!

  • Here's the thing: this is what many, many, MANY Dears have in common. I call it the "Moment of Impact", and the beauty of his music just hits you like an asteroid crashing to Earth. It sounds overly dramatic to people who DON'T have this experience but for the thousands of us who have we absolutely get where you are coming from. And it isn't weird, it's what makes Dimash so unique and incredible, his ability to affect so many people in this way with his music. He brings us together from all over the world through this same ethereal sensation; it's a special fraternity to be a true Dear. I so greatly appreciate reactions to Dimash like the ones you experience, and you're not even in deep yet! For me it is hard to understand how people DON'T feel this way when they hear Dimash! Thank you so much for loving and appreciating him and I honestly urge you to look into the official fan club for Dimash in your area so that you can put that passion toward supporting and promoting him even more!

  • Dimash has a voice that can touch souls. It's just that simple. It's more than the ability to give chills when he hits certain notes, it's more than a massive vocal range, it's more than singing in many languages... there's just something so expressive within his voice that it crosses barriers and reaches directly into the listener. At least, that's how it's always been for me, since the first time I had the privilege of hearing (it was S.O.S. for me, also). To this day, there are songs that (no matter how many times I've heard them) bring me to tears, because I get so overwhelmed and it's the only way my body can figure out to express itself. My first reaction to this song was very much "speechless" as well. When I describe it to people, I usually say it's a wordless benediction sung directly to your soul... I also try to remember to warn that it's not any "Ave Maria" most of us grew up knowing. You reaction was not only appropriate, it was absolutely an beautiful show of appreciation for how the music touched you.

  • His absolute powerful and unshakable presence on stage, compared by some to a god of music, sometimes to a prince or king, the energy he absorbs from the Universe, then how he anchors himself to the Earth, his connection with the Divinity, all at a place, it gives him the strength and confidence to "command the audience, to order the orchestra, to order the song", so that everything comes out the way he wants and how Dimash feels, that is unique. All these qualities are only at Dimash, absolutely. The goosebumps and hypnosis induced by Dimash are the characteristics of his concerts and appearance on stage, which are shaped by his endless beauty, sometimes translucent, sometimes sensual, sometimes angelic !!! Dimash is storm, thunder, lightning, sun, rain, smile, but also love and last but not least he is our hope and our daily light, he is our spiritual food when you put your head on the pillow and start dreaming like tomorrow it's a day… !!!!! Dimash has God's kiss on his heart!!!! Dimash's cerebral hemisphere are like the mathematics of song. The precision, the climax of the pieces, the breath control, all are mathematical. Nothing higher, nothing lower. Absolute accuracy !!! Not to mention, he has the number of destiny 7, the number of God. One more proof that Dimash is sent by God in the art of love through song!!!

  • I think that because there are no lyrics, just a vowel throughout the entire performance, it draws out more feelings. I become emotional when I hear this version more so than when the “traditional “ Ave Maria is sung. Dimash’s powerful delivery has a little to do with it as well, of course.😊 Thank you for your reaction.

    @Simple_101@Simple_10110 ай бұрын
  • If I'm not mistaken, this “Ave Maria” by composer and conductor Igor Krutoy is a work in vocalize format, completely unpublished, although it seems to be a variation of the initial theme (not the introduction but the singing part) of the melody by Schubert adapted to Dimash's voice in order to explore just as three initial notes and changing the fourth note to a higher note (From B4, A4 D#4 C#4 and B4 to G#4, G4, G4, D#5): Like a leap from "dark to light" which is the same contrast as Dimash's outfit (from dark to light)! It also seems to refer to the Russian V. Vavilov's version of "Ave Maria" (wrongly credited to Caccine) and work by JS Bach - Prelude No. 1 in C major, BWV 846, with arrangements by Gounod, which Maetro Igor Krutoy has a predilection for!

  • This is the way it is with Dimash! The feelings he conveys are very often impossible to understand or explain. At least it was that way for me. I wanted to talk to someone about it but I didn't know what I would say to them! And Dimash doesn't let you off the hook emotionally. He doesn't have a little lull in his songs so that you can recover, he just keeps on going and delivering more and more! I think the notes in this song are pure beauty! For me they reminded me of what the world must have been like when God first created it, perfect and pure and lovely. It made me long so much for the time when it will be like that again. We don't often find pure beauty in the world these days and when we do it can just be too much to bear. Well, at least those are my opinions and feelings! I hope you will enjoy many more amazing Dimash songs! (If you need a break from emotional ones, watch "Be With Me" the official music video before you dive back into the deep ones! ) 🇨🇦
