  • I had my hair permed crimpy in the early 90s, my mom was probably sick of crimping my long thick hair every morning before school so she let me get a perm 🤣 It looked exactly like what a crimping iron did. Most of the stuff you showed came out in the 80s/early 90s but had a resurgence in the 2000s. I distinctly remember having roll on body glitter in elementary school in the early 90s, particularly the Juniper Breeze purple one. 🤩

  • Those hair crimpers were around in the '80s. Aquanet, teasing, and those things gave us that huge volume we all wanted in the 1980s. True Story: I got a pink & teal Brooke Shields hair dryer sometime in the '80s. IT STILL WORKS!! I use it daily, and have for 40 years.

  • I wouldn’t be mad if crimping became a thing again. When my hair was crimped, you couldn’t tell me ANYTHING 😆 I feel like the wave irons are todays version of crimping though! 😊

  • The sponge applicator was all there was back in the day for eyeshadow. Brushes were for the pros 😊 We had banana clips in the 80's, plus the birth of the scrunchie.

  • I had a pair of those Shape Ups. I found them in a thrift store. They were black and white and very comfortable. I wore them until the soles came apart. I would absolutely buy another pair because they helped the pain in my back. BTW all the outfits looked good on you.
