    • You can see bioluminescence in the water, just not to that extreme, with decent regularity. It does depend on where you are and it is seasonal, but you can see a much lighter version of it. I've seen it multiple times while night diving in Bonaire, and even "toned down" from those famous pictures, it's gorgeous and so ethereal, like you're in an alien landscape. It doesn't photograph, but I remember it clearly, despite being years ago. That specific beach shot is an extreme case, and right place, right time, for sure.

    • Your dreams were placed into your heart for a reason. They are yours to go after. Please always remember that abundance is everywhere, and there are more than enough opportunities to go around for everyone to thrive and live their dreams. Find a side project you can start working on for even just an hour per day, or a few hours per week, that will give you another source of income. It's scary starting, I know, but please trust me when I say you must take risky leaps towards what you feel called to do. You CAN experience all the beauty that your life has to offer. What you are going through currently is only temporary. I promise. -Sincerely, a girl who was born in poverty, and built success alone. I love you, you've got this. Sometimes there's lines and crouds of people out of frame waiting for a turn to take a picture, and there often quite far, so can take hours out of your day to visit. The fact that she visited more than one, for the sake of this video is not an easy feat, depending on what season she travelled in. @lamaestra1111@lamaestra11112 ай бұрын
    • @lamaestra1111 Your comment sounds like u didn't actually watch the full video. First off, this vid is about if pinterest shots are the same irl, if she were to be promoting the culture/local businesses, it'd be a completely different and longer vid. Secondly, nowhere in the vid does she actually pay someone to take "better" pics for her. It was only offered, but she never said yes to it. At the very end of the vid she sums up the actual most important parts of traveling, none of which have anything to do with getting the perfect shot, and more so about the experiences u make and the people u meet

      @KarisaBear@KarisaBear2 ай бұрын
    • When she couldn't even pronunciate Holbox correct I had to skip through to the end. These types of inlfuencers don't truly experience the culture, they pay for a fake reality lol. I get it *the video wasn't about culture*. Quite frankly, there is a reason she blurred than man out, what he offered is NOT permitted. When you are paying for the service of the tour guide then posting that he illegally offers that entrance is promoting such behaviors. Simply don't include that part. You folks don't understand the trickle down effect something like this causes. As more influencers and tourists come to these areas, flamingo population and nesting numbers have gone down. By posting that they were able to illeagaly cross a restricted area promotes that it's ok to come and look for that. or simply go on their own and do it. The entitlement. @@KarisaBear

  • Love your comments at the ending. After living in Japan for the past 3 years, I can tell you that pinterest, instragram, etc. people are so frustrating to deal with. Just yesterday I was enjoying the Tokyo National Museum of Western Art with my daughter. Yes, we take pictures and even video to share with family, but we try to do it quickly, not impose on others, and enjoy the moment more than anything else! We were greatly enjoying the pieces by Monet, discussing his use of shadowing in his On the Boat painting to create the reflections in the water, while waiting for our turn up close...when we got stuck behind someone who wanted the perfect picture of them "contemplating" the painting. After over 10 mins of waiting for them to move on, we gave up. I could tell one of the museum personal was frustrated too...but non-confrontational culture...means they aren't likely to do anything unless they have to. Don't get me wrong, please do take photos and videos when it's allowed! It's great to have a way to look back on those memories. But also remember to live in the moment! So many people miss out on so much, because they're just chasing that one little social media shot and internet clout. And for the love of God, please just hurry the heck up and let other people enjoy the moment as well! Be a considerate clout chaser at least. 😆

    • @@user-wq8hm1vm2qI’ve been there before! Each person in my family spent about 50 dollars except someone who got a steak that was around 120. Then we got some appetizers so it was about 550/600 dollars with drinks and wine and tip. This was 2 years ago tho so prices may have changed

  • I loved the video as always and you looked gorgeous, but honestly, watching you break the law for a photo, when it was more than obvious you were not allowed to fly drones or enter was extremely disappointing PLUS incredibly dangerous. Following that guy was so stupid, he could’ve been taking you anywhere and more importantly to ANYONE. Even if you guys were not alone this was terrible to watch. Honestly, American tourist coming to break the laws cause it’s fun but getting so angry when something terrible happens is just, wild.

  • I love your final point and wish you dwelled on it a little more throughout the video. I travel a lot and HAAAAATE all the tourists that flock to certain small but famous places only to get a specific photo for social media. That's not what traveling should be about AT ALL. It's a thousand times better to appreciate and learn about a new culture than to recreate a picture hundreds of other people have already taken and posted on IG... You can take pictures of yourself at home - that'll leave you more time to fully enjoy the places you visit!

    • not to mention the ecological damage all those tourists stampeding through the jungle creates... its a very delicate ecosystem and people aren't supposed to be swimming in cenotes covered in perfumes and toxic chemicals like sunscreen. people are literally poisoning the environment

  • Something about this video... just makes me happy. You guys look amazing, you look like you guys had a great time and are just enjoying life. ❤ I love it. I love finding random things to do with my husband, especially on vacation... we tend to look for cheaper or free experiences ...cuz those can also be amazing but either way... This was actually such a fun concept though! My husband and I also dont consume adult beverages... but its so funny how often people include it into something automatically. It was nice for them to give you fancy sprite. Lol

The reason you didnt catch the bioluminous water has to do with your camera , you need to put your flash out and use a night vison and a long shuttertime .
