    • Generally speaking though it'll only liquify if the insect or animal it bites won't stop it for the next several minutes - hours depending on the size and how hard it is to liquify the inside so no worries. We're too big that it won't have the venom to liquify us and will take too long before it even liquifies us.

  • I owned one of these when I kept tarantulas. Bad thing is I didnt know it was illegally sold at a pet shop. I kept her for 7 years. I used floral foam and drilled a small hole in a block of it. She dug down into the substrate and I literally only seen her pop out for her food. Had just glimpses of how big she really was. Oh, and she was one of the fastest spiders I have ever seen. Faster than Baboons, faster than "Pokeys". And she was one scary looking spider.

  • Part of the reason she’s so docile and not moving is she is nocturnal, like he said in the video. Nocturnal animals are slow and easily confused during the daytime, partly to save energy. They basically enter sleep mode and can’t fully wake up. That’s probably also why she didn’t close the trap door which they ALWAYS do at night. Really fantastic video

    • this is a big UFFF for me... all i remember was the fact that a lot of spiders are with there babys all the time. she looked extremly exhausted. but makes sense and is a much better ending than shoving a dead spider back to her babys.
