The fear he felt in that moment not knowing if he'd be shot or stabbed or even if his kids were ok, that lasts with you. You never forget a moment where you feel vulnerable and have to fight for your life. Fighting an intruder would use adrenaline you couldnt pull in an MMA match with a ref and rules.

    • See You Soon P4P isn’t the real baddest fighters, a realistic mixture of heavyweight and light heavyweight ranked guys are. Jon, DC, Stipe, Francis, Reyes, Blaydes, Marreta, Lionheart (not sure about the last two for MMA honestly). There are probably guys in the world we don’t know about who can bang like that too and I can imagine some guys like Wilder or Joshua being just as dangerous or more to break into. Tons of really good wrestlers (Kyle Snyder, Taha Akgul etc) would be a home intruders worst nightmare also so they’re definitely badder in this scenario than the vast majority of UFC heavies and light heavies. But the idea that a Mighty Mouse is one of the baddest men on the planet is just absurd. Any decent heavyweight at an MMA gym would ragdoll him, his skill is insane and his ability in the sport of MMA almost unparalleled but let’s not pretend here.

  • After I did some reading, I found out that the intruder, Luke Haberman, is a standout college wrestler. So not only is he a great athlete, he’s also trained his whole life to not let someone put his back to the mat. He can probably go 5 minutes and never stop while sober. He was also likely on drugs and as Anthony said, probably believed he was fighting for his life as well. It’s not surprising to me that this was one of the toughest fights Anthony’s ever had. What are the odds that this home intruder happens to be a stud wrestler, who happens to break into a UFC contender’s house?

    @Delltah1@Delltah14 жыл бұрын
    • Absolutely right. He's not going to have the normal mental limitations or inhibitions to stop him absolutely pushing himself 5 times beyond what he might normally do if he's out of his mind on drugs and going mental in a psychopathic rage. And his normal highest point of exertion got him to a record breaking status at the collegiate level. And we know what anger and adrenaline can help a person do let alone in addition to drugs and/or going crazy to the point where he's screaming and roaring his head off repeatedly. Plus that means he's going to be all the more unpredictable with his movements and choices of what to do, if he begins swinging wildly at you, trying to take you down, bite you, anything.

I could never imagine having a life or death altercation in my home, but it does happen and its very difficult for people to prepare for the reality of a situation like this.
