“Where you at Luke!!?”- Tony Ferguson
Dude was in his house screaming. That is legit terrifying
T Lo not when you have forced protection. From the story he didnt. They went into H2H combat. Which is more terrifying when said intruder could had a blade.....OR a gun.
I woke up to a badger outside of my tent alone with a girl deep in national forest/grizzly-preserve although I've only ever seen black bears around there but my first instinct was it's definitely a bear and I'm definitely getting eaten. I think waking up to a dude screaming in your house would be way more terrifying. Humans are dirty unpredictable creatures.
Get outta here badger! I'm trying to sleep!

Let me tell you something. This man right here is so impressive. He’s humble, articulate, kind, level headed. He’s going to be a incredible champion one day. This is a face that should represent UFC. Not Jon. Anthony God Bless you and your family.
Did you know Smith could have taken the belt from Jon when they fought? He was struck illegally and could’ve chosen to not continue and been awarded the W in a title fight thus becoming champion. Lion heart knew that’s not how he should get the belt so he continued, lost. And hasn’t fought for the belt since

For this guy to do this interview and be as honest as he was is pretty legit. “If I get shot in the chest or stabbed I got 2 minutes to end this” and “I’m going to have to sink a knife into this dude so I can handle the other one”... This dude is working with some clarity.

@smelly_meat boss or more of them than you, or have weapons.
@@barrackhussein464 not neccessary... usually separate questions p4p is if everyone is the same size who would be best. Baddest man on the planet is generally a heavyweight ko king. P4P: Ray Robinson Baddest man on the planet: Mike Tyson
See You Soon P4P isn’t the real baddest fighters, a realistic mixture of heavyweight and light heavyweight ranked guys are. Jon, DC, Stipe, Francis, Reyes, Blaydes, Marreta, Lionheart (not sure about the last two for MMA honestly). There are probably guys in the world we don’t know about who can bang like that too and I can imagine some guys like Wilder or Joshua being just as dangerous or more to break into. Tons of really good wrestlers (Kyle Snyder, Taha Akgul etc) would be a home intruders worst nightmare also so they’re definitely badder in this scenario than the vast majority of UFC heavies and light heavies. But the idea that a Mighty Mouse is one of the baddest men on the planet is just absurd. Any decent heavyweight at an MMA gym would ragdoll him, his skill is insane and his ability in the sport of MMA almost unparalleled but let’s not pretend here.
He can tell the story perfectly get this man on JRE right this second

Agreed but I also feel that Anthony should had never given his intruder the opportunity to be someone else's intruder at a later date. Get a gun and shoot to stay alive. How much of a badass is his wife? She stood there in the hallway so “Luke” or any other intruders would have to go through her first - straight badass move. Two great and protective parents.
I mean, what do expect her to do? She's the 2nd line of defense.
JR The 2nd plenty of people would cower in fear or just hide. She did it in the name of defending her kids. Her character was shown. Gangster move.
@@rickytpb2164 I don't know a parent that wouldn't defend their child's life. I'm not bashing the woman, but at the same time, what she did was common place, and expected. She's a mother...her first and most important job on this earth is to protect those children.
@@rickytpb2164 Most parents would defend their children, i don't think we should underestimate the average person. Plenty of people are down to throw down if there life is in danger or their family/friend
I saw his wife once on UFC Embedded. She must be like 6'3 or 6'4 since she was just about as tall as Lionheart and didn't have a frail build or anything. So she certainly isn't a defenseless little woman
That truly is terrifying, thank God he’s a trained fighter and was able to protect his family, and brave of his wife to block the hallway not knowing if another person would be coming.
After I did some reading, I found out that the intruder, Luke Haberman, is a standout college wrestler. So not only is he a great athlete, he’s also trained his whole life to not let someone put his back to the mat. He can probably go 5 minutes and never stop while sober. He was also likely on drugs and as Anthony said, probably believed he was fighting for his life as well. It’s not surprising to me that this was one of the toughest fights Anthony’s ever had. What are the odds that this home intruder happens to be a stud wrestler, who happens to break into a UFC contender’s house?
Absolutely right. He's not going to have the normal mental limitations or inhibitions to stop him absolutely pushing himself 5 times beyond what he might normally do if he's out of his mind on drugs and going mental in a psychopathic rage. And his normal highest point of exertion got him to a record breaking status at the collegiate level. And we know what anger and adrenaline can help a person do let alone in addition to drugs and/or going crazy to the point where he's screaming and roaring his head off repeatedly. Plus that means he's going to be all the more unpredictable with his movements and choices of what to do, if he begins swinging wildly at you, trying to take you down, bite you, anything.
Anthony Smith is one of the realest dudes alive

My heart goes out to the kids , this can really affect them! Big love and massive respect to the Smith family. God bless
Dana White: “This is what happens when UFC is forced to cancel events”
That’s even worst tbh. What if he went to a event while only his family was there. I’m glad it worked out for the best though.
Dana probably set this all up in some scheme to promote UFC events or at the very least draw up some UFC media buzz hahaha
Dana gonna sign the kid when he gets out
Carl Mannerheim 💀😂😂
@@ijcollins15 House intruders were never my friend -Dana "Mighty Mouse" White
Imagine breaking into someone’s house and that someone is a 6’4” UFC beast 😂, props to Anthony for his bravery, Lionheart.
Obviously that dude didn't care what size Anthony was and seems like he put up a tough fight.
@@alloverdaplace2043 it doesn't really sound like he put up a good fight. Blood all over the place, brain swelling, Anthony looks untouched. I think Anthony was just surprised by his strength and durability.
Kia y’all about bad luck lol
Joshua Morales well this entire thing was back luck
@Hamza Umar yeah I had already saw that. Though I find it more likely that it was mainly tard strength.
Anthony, I'm sorry you went through this experience. I could never imagine having a life or death altercation in my home, but it does happen and its very difficult for people to prepare for the reality of a situation like this. Stay strong and continue sharing your story, I believe it is helpful for those who have encountered similar situations as events of this nature can cause PTSD and other anxiety/depressive symptoms for years to come. Thank you for speaking about this in an open forum.
Man imagine breaking into a professional cage fighters house lmfao
Dana's trying to figure out when this guy gets out of jail so he can set up a rematch.
dsrecs I would pay to view this!
🤣
"that's the fight to make that's the fight that make sense, it's a massive fight"
@@RyanKelvinRea i would like to see the face of the dude in question
That's Dana for sureבניה בטיטו
Imagine breaking into a random house and it just happens to be one of the highest ranked Light Heavyweight UFC contenders.
Any mugshot of the POS? I’d love to see Anthony’s art work.
This guy is a gem. This is such a truthful and honest interview. He shows a lot of vulnerability here, but definitely not a sissy. This is a truly terrifying moment and he did not sugar coat any of the details. He handled it all like a legend.
I agree with you I think it was a very honest interview and he didn't try to sugarcoat anything for sure. Lot of people on here second-guessing him and what he should or should not done. We were not there and I'm looking at it going "this is a certified badass UFC fighter who was defending his wife & kids" if you could have ended it by choke or knock out or whatever he definitely would have. Also I think that intruder probably was whacked out on PCP that's what it sounds like to me.
True!!!
Anthony could have legally killed him and still chose not to.
Nobody could’ve told the story like him.
Yes!
Katt Williams said it best, “I don’t care how good you are at fighting, you can never beat a crackhead.”
Did sound like being a light heavyweight ufc title contender is just enough to beat a crackhead though lol
Katt Williams is a crackhead and got beat up by a 15 year old
Plus this robber was a wrestling champion so there is that.
@@nothinbutpeanut Was he? Says who?
@@theanarchy4003 yes he was. He holds a top 5 spot in nearly every single wrestling record in the state of Nebraska...thats if he doesnt hold the record
Props to Anthony for giving such a brutally honest description of an ordeal most of us hope to never go through.
This dude is a good dude. With a good family. I'm glad you and your family are safe man.
Amazing how this man is one of the world's most elite trained fighters but still is honest enough to say that he froze when there was a smaller man unexpectedly in his home. I think that's so admirable
Because the fool could be armed
Because when they break in to burglarize they usually have something for safety just in case
The guy who broke in his house was no average joe. He was big time Nebraska state wrestler, which explained why he was so tough
N V agreed
Real life isnt safe like a cage fight.
