It's simply the iOS. I just bought an s24U, and don't like Android. It may be a better phone to some, but for me, all the little things are making me return this phone.
Speaking as someone who got his first iPhone (13 Pro Max) about a year ago and will switch back to android with the S24 Ultra, iPhones do have some advantages to android phones as well as Samsung phones specifically. It is not the OS however, because there is so much missing in iOS that I can't wait to be able to use again. The ecosystem though (if you are willing to get trapped in it) is way better then that of any other manufacturer. The video quality also is very good and at least I myself have yet to discover a better one on a phone, yet it still has some flaws like light reflections from the glass above the lenses or the poor macro capability of the main lenses. I for one am happy to get rid of the shackles iOS and iTunes put me in.
Now hear me out: Many people say that the photo is fake, because an AI that knows how the moon is supposed to look like processed the image. Let me ask you a question: Where is the difference between this and AI that knows how your face should look like, and processes it accordingly? Why do you think iPhones have such good video quality? Because they too use processing. The whole moon story just shows exactly at an extreme example what all phones do to every photo... Now is every phone-made photo fake? I guess you could argue that way, but i don't agree with that.

I capture the moon fine on my 15 pro max, you just have to have the exposure pre set to -2 and focus on the moon while lowering down the dial, and your hand has to be very still. All that for a mediocre photo of the moon 😭, it works though I have pretty good photos of it

I am using an older Samsung flagship, processing a photo shouldn't change how it looks. when I saw the video, i was shocked This AI is doing much much more than it needs to. I mean, look at the photo before and after finishing processing it, huuuge difference and honestly i don't like it

And people who look to take pics of the moon are pretty different from people who want to do stuff like taking pics of the moon, and I'm the latter. I used both apple and samsung and chose the s24 ultra cuz its way more value for a phone and all around package than the 15 pro. It charges faster the gpu is faster the screen is wayyy nicer.. s pen support.. superior camera system much more versatile than the one on the iphone. The ecosystem is as devoloped as apples you could even argue its even more developed since samsung is a manufun.. of a lot of devices like TV's laptops tablets washing machines.. stoves.. microwaves all of which you can control on your phone. Also the reverse charging on the phone for your galaxy watch or your buds is a nice plus. Apple is just sad at this point.. and is a status simbol for poor people wanting for other peoples recogniton as it makes them feel more rich and powerful.

S24 zoom is less distorted when you pull back a little, like 55- 65 for the moon is heaps to get a clear shot with less distortion that you can then crop etc later in edit

Samsung has admitted they have used software to show this. It's not real moon when you zoom at that level.
I'm not an iPhone use or iPhone fanboy but still when it goes 72x zoom it not that clear when it goes 100x and take a second to give a clear picture i think they use some kind of AI to add some details, but still s23 ultra camera quality is more impressive then iPhone camera
To be fair, apple also uses ai processing. Samsung doesn't fake the moon but it detects the moon and it adjusts the lightning automatically

My brother, when I lower the exposure setting and a few settings on the iPhone, it takes a clear shot. Let me just say this: Samsung only zooms in more and obtains better results with artificial intelligence in this zoom event, which is better than the iPhone, otherwise if we evaluate it as 25 x, the iPhone is also good.

It’s not only the camera or anything like that,my mom has been using a Samsung phone for like 4-5 years and she can still talk on the phone and hear very good and the battery of the phone is still intact,whereas in my case with the iphone XR from 2019(just turned 5 years),on the third year of using it,the battery didn’t last anything,maybe like 3 hours using the phone non stop going from 100% to 0%,and ALSO at the second year of using my phone,i don’t know what the fuck happened but whenever i took calls or called somebody,i would have to put it in speaker to hear the other person,like they’re made to break on the second or third year which is absolutely ridiculous,and all my friends that have used iphones have had the same experience as me…so that shows you at the end of the day Korean brands always win
