Iphone is better if you want good optimisation and better camera. Samsung is better if you want a lot of technology in a single device. I personally prefer the iphone cuz it’s easy to use and the camera is better.

If you’ve used android all your life and then switch to an iphone then yes, you’ll find it difficult cuz of the no back button, etc. But if you’ve been using IOS all your life and then get an android or use android then you’ll find that iphone is much easier to use. I use both an iphone and a pixel, and i just find the iphone easier to use. But then again it’s a personal preference i guess
As a normal user, I never felt that the ios ecosystem was ever needed for me. I have a Sony TWS, OnePlus 12, Samsung galaxy tab A9 and I can have an ecosystem with my Google account and Nearby share with quick connect. TWS gets directly and easily connected, I can easily share all the data. Why should I pay such a premium for ios? I have owned an iPhone as well. It was a great experience with a stable system and a great camera but never thought of buying it again 💯

I was about to jump to ios. I wanted something in galaxy with 6.7 inch screen. But it seems 23+ has been discontinued. The s24 is with exynos and I don't want it and ultra is too bulky & don't want the curved display either.. The only option I could get was iphone 15 plus. But I have made up my mind and choose to go with an s23. I would miss a bigger screen, but I have my TV and tab to view any ott content and even though its just 6.1 inches the screen seems to be awesome on s23 and I don't have to part ways with my galaxy watch 4.

Bro you may not hv noticed but Samsung has intentionally downgraded the Vividness on S24 series, which was the USP of Samsung Smartphone. I know they hv tuned it more towards Neutral colors but once you are used to Vivid colors there is no way going back. I thought you will mention it.
samsung developers have made it clear that they will be providing a software update very soon and give people the option to make the colours as vivid as S23 ultra.
The vividness is back after update but the grain issue is still there, quite disappointed with the display quality this year. I was always under the impression that Samsung makes the best display, I'm not sure how this issue slipped out of their Quality checks.

I will share one very important point:- Samsung has dual physical sim slots, very very handy. My father travels a lot between Qatar and India. When he is at airport, he simply switches the sim cards from notification panel itself. Also, when he makes refinery visits, he simply can remove his sim from smartphone and put it in the nokia 3310. He purchased iPhone 13 Pro first, but due to single slim slot and many many other problems he returned it and bought S23 Ultra.

I just visited a samsung showroom in a mall and tested the cameras of the s24 plus I had high expectation of samsung s24 and iPhones 15 camera I've seen many reviews but I didn't expect the cameras were worse than i anticipated the bright text of other shops and text in the samsung showroom was very over exposed and the photos are very blurry I dont know why I even tried turning off scene optimizer and some image enhancer which was at maximum I switching it to minimum still the over exposure was the same and the image was more blurry and one more thing I noticed once you take a photo takes 3 seconds for image to process I noticed that while I was looking at the photo taken suddenly the texture changes after that everything gets super smooth lots of details get lost it looks like a painting. Next I went to an apple outlet and took a look at the iPhone 15 plus cameras the iphone's camera was also over exposing the lights and text in the store but not as bad as the samsung but the image was not doing that smoothing stuff like the samsung and the image was sharp all the time I didn't need to hold it super steady like the samsung it was performing way better but still there was bit grainy texture problem even tho it was a well lit store there was no after processing being seen when I was viewing the photo taken unlike samsung 3 sec delayed processing. so yeah dont just see the reviews of the phones and buy them blindly buy them at the stores my expectations from watching reviews and camera test videos vs actually testing my self was completely different. and yeah s24 the small 6.1 was heating a lot just sitting there when I opened the camera app it started to dim the screen, btw my reigion has exynos idk about sd8gen3.
Agreed! Testing the phone ourselves makes a huge difference. I had almost same experience like you have mentioned, while i went to check OnePlus 12 & Xiaomi 14. Lots of reviews says one is good in certain area and vice versa. Both have good quality and premium feel. But when i checked, OnePlus 12 felt more like a premium midrange phone interms of in hand feels, overall material, side panels and camera was much worse. The shutter speed is like proper midrange. Where as Xiaomi 14 felt proper premium the display felt more closer to the top glass, shutter speed was quick like iphone, will take quick photos. Pictures of moving object was also better captured in Xiaomi. Oneplus12 is much more successful interms of popularity and sales in India, Xiaomi 14 is often called overpriced. But Xiaomi 14 definitely is worth the money, works and feels like a proper flagship in comparison to OP12, also has ip68 rating, op12 has ip65.

I don't exactly know why do the reviewers never talk about the bad quality selfie photos clicked through iphone 15. I myself is using this mobile and once a selfie gets clicked somehow grains appears within the photos which makes every beautiful moments captured like a crap 😞. Much disappointed with the front camera.

The camera samples you have shown isn't clear. The images isn't of high quality, so having hard time to compare.

I have switched to ios from s22 ultra, basic problem of samsung devices are that after 1 year the updates which come it detoriates the performance and battery backup and even the picture quality and phone becomes slower. I have faced this issue in my s22 ultra
