Yes, that's definitely the future. I noticed how artificial the translator sounds too. For now, it's no better than Google translate voice. But I'm sure they will perfect this moving forward.
i dont think it would be much of an issue given that pixel phones have had them for a very long time... in fact im kinda pissed how sooo many of these new features are just pixel features... now my pixel has nothing against galaxy :(
@legendsandgods9689 how exactly? It is possible to replicate one's voice using ai but that wouldn't be possible if Samsung doesn't let you do so in a call.

Live translation is the biggest innovation for me. It goes beyond smartphone functionality. Imagine companies use such tech. It would eliminate the language barrier in labor market. Amazing innovation.

I think it's better to swap the 10MP 10x zoom camera to a 50MP 6-7x zoom camera. I'm sure it is the best of both worlds, since the 6-7x zoom range is well-covered while being able to do 12MP crop to 12-14x. Also, the 100x zoom on S24 Ultra seems to have suffered compared to the S23 Ultra.
I have now finally swapped from apple and gone to Samsung by pre ordering this phone AND with the free watch 6 I am beyond excited and I can’t wait to join the Samsung family and ecosystem! P.s. and it’s gonna be a pretty big upgrade as I’m coming from base iPhone 13…

Wow! Samsung is doing a great job with its smartphones. I have noticed some significant changes, but the one I like the most is the translated phone call feature, which was a pleasant surprise for us. The best thing about Samsung phones is that they come with various improvements when they release a new model. However, when Apple introduces a new phone, it usually comes with the same features at a much higher price.

@@Ricardoxtil7.5KAI, supercooling and titanium are minor features. Especially since most AI features aren’t exclusive to the s24 ultra. With the exception of live translate, most of those features are coming to other Samsung phones. None of this satisfies a price increase. The Samsung s24 ultra is more expensive than the iPhone now. Stop fanboying Samsung and acting like this isn’t ridiculous. If you want to talk about overpriced phones, the s24 ultra is as overpriced as it gets.

30% faster GPU, 20% faster CPU, 41% faster AI processing. 2600 nits screen brightness (substantial upgrade). Also decent camera upgrades. Also titanium body and a much stronger screen display with a 75% reduction in reflection. Its a commendable upgrade. To expect a larger increase year over year is asking for a bit much.

I am about to switch to iphone 15 Plus until I saw the Unpacking of S24+. Guess this is the right time to realign myself back to my first love, and I already preordered the Samsung Galaxy S24+. Does this feature with speech conversion in a text work for deaf people who want to make calls and see the text on the screen? I mean, it doesn’t require language translation since the language is the same. I saw many apps which translate foreign languages into text but no such app allows English to English , for example .. except of Skype
