    • Yeh this isnt even close. The camera cuts are horrible making it hard to see where things are coming from and for some reason the impact of especially the knife attacks seem non existent. Choreography is good tho, and its still alot better than most things we get from hollywood.

    • When alot of people fear you it gives you a big ego and makes you feel invisible. But he wasnt the king pin so he was obviously stupid. But I dont see how the script should effect the awards he wins for being an actor. I thought he did pretty good as the idiot.

    • In the original the professional hit man is bored and sees a chance to fight some one who might be fun. He is very very good and very confident he can win. I strongly recommend watching the original called "The Man From Nowhere"... I included a clip elsewhere in the comments.

Along with John's amazing fitness and physique, his action scenes have garnered much praise from the audiences.May 22, 2020 So google is saying it is a actual remake. I still think its a crappy remake.

It's not like you can say the original is as good as john wick, the raid, the equalizer, redeemer, headshot, blood and bone,the protector, falcon rising, just to name a few. So I'll agree the man from nowhere is good but it's also overrated cause people act like the fight scenes are on the level of the other movies I named. I agree the original is good but not the best ever either.

    • It wasn't just "inspired", it was a frame-by-frame remake. Most negative critics are pointing out how it's copied from the Korean movie (main male characters are pawnshop owners, the main female characters are gogo/strip dancers, the eyes and final fight scenes being the most obvious).

  • Bro this is so cool! Whos is this guy? Is he an Indian actor? The fight scene was so badass, looked like moves that someone can actually do. He looks strong too and I like that he doesn't move around so so much. I just watched some chinese kungfu shaolin monks get ambushed fight scene and it was so cringe. They always just flying around doing kicks that would never be possible. This looks like practical stuff. Loved it.

  • Not a bad choice. Pretty brutal. I'm still gonna go with Atomic Blonde as the most "realistically" brutal I've seen past 40 years. Her fights seemed very real and not over the top ridiculous. John Wick? Too flashy and choreographed. Very entertaining but unbelievable.
