The two assassin's realized John wasn't at his best (what with having just had massive fight and having recently lost a finger) and gave him the opportunity to get up and fight like a true assassin rather than kill him dishonorably.

  • The final fight on here is hands-down one of the best fights I’ve seen that WASN’T in a big feature film like John Wick. The build-up, the space, how they justifiably think they can take him. How he herds them in and starts pushing back. How he immediately grabs a weapon and then starts dominating. How they grab different weapons and actually do some significant damage with them. How he manages to weather the hits ‘cause he’s a world-class fighter (and movie protagonist), but even then he starts slowing down, and most of all how sheer luck saves him SEVERAL times. If that one guy hadn’t moved where he did, if that guy on the ground had had a knife, if even one of the bullets went through the man, if he hadn’t closed the distance before the gunkid reloaded, and then how he managed to beat the guys that got up again with crippling or killing blows to make sure they wouldn’t. Wow. Amazing. Is this on Netflix?

The only problem I had with it is how he didn't just get rushed by everyone like how it would really be, but like every fight scene with 1 versus an ass load all the "bad guys" wait their turn even after watching all their buddy's get (in most cases killed)

UFC fighters barely get clipped and drop like a brick in water, NamelessGoon # 2-9 take multiple haymakers to the jaw and a few 2by4's to the dome and shrug it off like a 2yr old kicked their shin.

Dude was outnumber and each guy came at him one at a time and he used boxing skills to drop 2 out of 5 and the other three ran. It was identical to how it was in the movies -- so either life imitates movies or movies are just imitating life.
