I was 12 year old at the time. My dad was a tool and die maker and was able to restore it to some degree but it was never as it had been just out of the box. I would like to really have this 60 year old treasure restored but don't know anyone who could do it. Your video gave me hope that there might be hope for the engine.

  • I was given one of these when I was a tot back in the early seventies. It was a wonderful toy. It's been a pleasure to watch you restore it to its former glory. Thank you very much! :o)

  • Ottimo lavoro.

  • Thank you for another great video. As many of the other commenters I too had a Wilesco (all be it a smaller model) when I was a child and I remember many fond hours spent running it with my Dad. Thank you also for that memory. By the way I am also thrilled to have recently discovered that Wilesco is still going strong and that they have a KZhead channel as well.
