Why do I get the feeling doughie is the killer this time. The stature of the killer almost matches doughie’s posture but of course this is scream so an accomplice is expected. Nice to see jack quaid from the boys in this, he needs to call billy the butcher lol. Also love seeing all the helpless pretty teenage victims who will be picked off one by one. If they can match the originality of the first film, provide a fresh story behind the killers motivations then this should be good.

That said, nothing says or shows alcohol so that’s pure speculation and even if he is worn down and haggard, he went from Baby Deputy Dewey to Hardened Badass who knows how to play the game.

I love how they made the trailer. At first it seemed like this movie was gonna be centered around the original cast but after watching this you know it's centered around Sam and Tara but still includes the original Scream cast in a not too overpowering way

I watched this movie today, this movie doesn't seem like horror but definitely one of the best suspense thriller I've watched
The fact that this isn’t a reboot or remake but just a refresh of an already amazing slasher franchise in memory of Wes Craven is what gets to me. Hope they make him proud and do him justice❤️❤️🔪

I am in love with this film series. It’s so rare to have a “final girl” reprise her role in a horror series five times, and that doesn’t even include Gale and Dewey. Three awesome characters surviving through four (maybe five) consecutive horror films is so iconic, and you can tell there’s such a great chemistry between them. I don’t know if all three of them will make it out of this new movie alive, but if not, they gave it a good fight. I can’t wait to see what happens.

All of scream movies are the best....
It’s good to see an older school franchise continue with the same actors and style as what they first started off with. Unlike a lot of others they went over bored or tried to make it this over the top new and improved but really it took away from the original style and that’s a lot of movies down falls when they try and continue a franchise but scream has always held a special place as one of my all time favs so I’m really happy to see that they are keeping it to its original form

There’s a theory that Tara is actually the first person to survive the opening attack; there’s a scene where you can see someone in a wheelchair at the hospital with a cast on their foot, and later we see the killer break Tara’s ankle, so it’s likely her, meaning the trailer is setting Tara up to die first when she’s actually the “final girl,” which is similar to the misleading marketing of the first film!

This is the first movie in a long time that I did not see the plot twist coming when Billy Loomis showed up in the mirror play by the original actor I about flipped out seeing legacy characters less than you did in the other movies actually made the movie better so it was fresh it was something different and I don’t think Wes Craven could’ve done better himself!

Dewey dying would make the most sense this time around. Him giving out the “Rules to Survive a Horror Movie” may be foreboding. Randy was the keeper of the rules, and we know how that turned out.
There's also the Rule about "Anyone including the main character can die" so it just makes me wonder, will Sidney be one of the people killed off by the end? Like Nancy in Nightmare 3 or how they tried to kill Laurie off in Halloween: Resurrection?
That scene with Gail screaming is definitely for Dewey

The "who did it" slasher is back. It's always a surprise to to find out who the killer is and you can never really figure it out. I own all 4 and the 1st 3 are part of my childhood. Definitely a cult classic

I’m glad to see Sidney, Dewey, and Gale back for this one. Scream has been a collection of great movies. None of them have been bad in my opinion so I’m looking forward to Scream 5.

OMG i accidentally watched scream 1996 a while ago while eating dinner , i do not usually watch on that channel cinemax but when i saw courtney cox i screamed oh thats monica and continue watching and then i came up with this trailer and wow , just wow ! Ill watch this

@@seansswamp tbh not really. The reason why because to me it feels predictable that every horror cliché movie would do that. I was kinda hoping that the killer would say what's your scary movie just to feel at home. This movie may not be scary but who knows really. I love the action through out the scream franchise.

@@onedb7407 well ofc look what happened to Halloween kills that movie is not good. I was expecting so much more. In the trailer it show Laurie holding a knife in the hospital to face Micheal. But Micheal wasn’t even at the hospital and better than yet he ain’t interested in her which that’s really sad. That movie just plain awful and trailer just makes us so hyped of the movie that turns out to be trash.
