  • The key difference is that martial arts demands discipline not just that some martial arts demand training and that way you get fatser and strong with the fist or legs or just become fast but for bodybuilder your body gets tight so for fighting a martial artist then it's over becuase some like karate or kunfu you mostly spend your whole life

  • these fighters always look at things from their POV: fighting ... but they never bring up the reality that in the gym or on stage the bodybuilding champ would obviously embarrass the fighter at least just as bad if not worse

  • Most martial artists are also body builders so good luck thinking that just body building would be enough to fight one.

    • Actually a lot of top tier fighters weren’t body builders prime mike Tyson didn’t do weight training and Muhammad Ali gained his muscle through calisthenics and tree chopping

    • @@eoghanjones9042 I said they are now not that they were in the past. Regardless, many use weights at least to some degree to train.

    • Best to train both at same time if you get too big you’re either gonna have to lose it or train for much much longer because your muscles from pure bodybuilding would be stiff asf and too much Syrian on your body

The mentality u need to have to go out and fight someone in a ring or cage dozens of times is way harder to achieve then just not bring lazy and lifting
