  • Awesome flying Max. We use to fly into Aspen, to go skiing at Snowmass, at first with United Airlines, when they used BAe-146, and later when they switched to CRJ-900s, always loved the approach and the Takeoffs from a high altitude airport, not sure how a pilot feels. P1D flew into aspen a while back with his TCAS going off.

    • @@Rev1Kev I was based in Denver in my days flying the CRJ. Getting Aspen qualified was a good way to get guaranteed CRJ-700 flying when the Embraer 175 started taking most of the CRJ-700 routes from Denver. Word on the street is they have been working hard to get the 175 certified for Aspen, but they will probably have to remove some seats to get the numbers to work.
