This was a great women semifinal both Halep and Pliskova fought hard.
Karolina played really well despite her disdain for clay. Congrats to Simona. Don't flop against Ostapenko.
Two great matches today, four great players. Didn't think Pliskova would be able to put up this much of a fight on clay.

damn gonna be difficult to choose between ostapenko and halep. they are 2 of my favorite tennis players. im so happy for halep, she deserves to win a grand slam, it could give her carrer a major boost and also to her confidence. On the other hand, u got ostapenko that since losing to pliskova 2-1 with 10-8 on the final set, has gain a fan in me because of her tennis, being just as young as me, etc, i knew that after the game this girl could do many things. i love her agressiveness, her attitude that many women tennis players lack, not giving up because something is not going her way. Plz god, i hope she is consistent on her tennis and performance on all grand slams

Ostapenko has nothing to lose, I want Simona to win but there has to be a final match.
Simona is a changed player in terms of her mental toughness. Ostapenko is a brave talented kid and she is expected to come to the net a lot more often than Pliskova did. Halep has the edge but nothing is a given. One thing is sure though, they're both fierce fighters.

this is given...Halep doesn't have that monster serve and forehand but can make opponents run side to side, which is clearly Pliskova's weakness. Pliskova is really having a hard time returning running shots, she would prefer a clear shot where she can generate powerful strokes rather than doing defensive shots which is Simo's strength..this is the same reason why Pliskova never won any match against Aga...
All hail, Halep the victor! Looks like she played her maximum all-around game. It was a three-setter, though. I wonder how Plishky would play if she had a fire lit under her. All that power, and she seems almost blase about the outcome. Well, congrats to Simona. One down and one to go.

De toți nenorociții ăștia de politicieni care ne servesc numai miștocăreala ieftină și dispreț de 27 de ani. Simona face pentru țărișoara asta necăjită cât toți parlamentarii care își plimbă hoiturile inutile la un loc. Mult succes in finală Simona!

Too much power from Ostapenko for Halep....the match will be on Ostapenko's racket...if she attacks and moves forward on Halep..isa a new young champs...Halep doesn't have enough punch to win.
I think it's all mental for Plishkova.
