Because they are not very good at what they do. They also showed Svit winning a big rally in the third set, and then they cut to Simona up 5-0 and serving for match. They should be editing things in as the match happens but apparently they don't do that. Or they have people who don't know tennis doing it.

Great came back by Simona after trailings 3-6,1-5 and match point down, showing how strong mentally she is this time, Totally opposite to Rome final, where she was dominated for set and half, then she lost it ( maybe because ankle injury). Despite the lost, I think Svitolina has the COMPLETE GAMES to be the future # 1 very soon

Hopefully halep remain mentally and physically fresh for tomorrows match. Pliskova and simona are playing for the first time on the clay against each other. Very unpredictable outcome. But lets hope Halep wins the SF and the whole thing.

Well, that second set was epic. Halep so close to elimination--almost blowing another majors chance--you have to wonder if this helps her or not going forward. Not sure what to say about the dominant third set. On balance, she didn't look better than Svitolina. Winning is not assured for her.
Doesn't say much for her so-called great form.
Her form always very nice. She's athletic. It's the results that elude her. First off, she does not have a killer serve. Second, I will say that Simona does not get to every ball. She is relatively short for modern-day ladies tennis, and I think her need to run very hard constantly, left and right, takes its toll in missed point opportunities. She will need to put it ALL together vs. Plishky. If she does, many people will be happy for her. Including me, though I think Plishky has a more dominant game, Whoever wins, I hope their opponent in the final is Osty. Love the Latvian!!
Plinsky is easier opponent than Svitolina on clay.
Pliskova barely moves on hard court, let alone on clay. She can have all the power in the world, but if Halep wil make her run its game over. Not that it matter but Halep leads the h2h 4-1.
I don't think I have ever seen Pliskova run!! LOL! She kind of lopes like a giraffe!! If she plays her power game at a high level, she may not need to move.

Great first set from Svitolina, but congrats to Halep for the comeback. I don't know how Svitolina managed to loose the second set. I guess it was just an energy management issue. I only support Halep in WTA, but I think Svitolina has great potential. Go for it Simona, now or never!
