Short note about pyrex. The pyrex sold in the U.S. has changed & is no longer that Pyrex we love that tolerates fast temperature changes. If the package says "pyrex", all lower case letters, it will shatter going from extreme changes of hot to cold & visa versa. The old formulation of "Pyrex" is still sold in Europe, from what i understand. PS: Rosie gets cuter by the day.....& so well behaved. Must have great parents. 😊❤
I had bought a baking dish from pyrex a few years ago from TJ Maxx and we were sitting down to Thanksgiving dinner and I had a dish still in the oven and we heard it explode.....so I'm glad you mentioned this!!! Thank the Good Lord above we wasn't opening the oven door when it happened.
You saved me from typing just that. Thank you. There is a place selling French PYREX online that uses borosilicate glass and there is always vintage PYREX. The U.S. market always gets the low quality cheap junk. Just purchased a few new PYREX measuring cups from France, the only issue for many is that the measurements are in metric only. Fine with me, as we should have gone metric in the 1980's. No excuse.
Always look for PYREX in capitol letters, if so, it is vintage pre 1987 or current French PYREX. When you see Pyrex, don't buy it. @@janetallen4013

I learned in Tuscany, Italy that light degrades olive oil. Many olive oils is plastic bottles is either not real or very diluted with other oils. We were told that the best olive oils come in the tin. Do your own research if you are in doubt.

I even started sharing your posts with friends that have young children. I saw a child recently eating Pringles chips, and I looked at the ingredient list of thought Oh my goodness. I would never eat this junk.
Rosie is a good helper. I still try to buy my signal origin olive oil and avocado oil in glass bottles. I worry about the oils breaking down the plastic and absorbing then it is in the oil. Thank you for the updates and good information. Kirkland please use glass I know it is heavy to ship, but please less plastic is best for everyone.
I like using Pyrex dishes too, but I've seen in multiple places that the pyrex with all lower case letters is made with an inferior process. PYREX with all caps, is the original and better quality.

I heard that the pyrex glass quality is different from Pyrex quality. The lower case one is lesser quality.

I love the Bobby approved app however some products show under review and I don’t see them ever updated. I know you can’t possibly have every item on your app but is there away for you to be contacted for an update. Also recently saw a video short you posted about Bobby approved laundry detergent but on app it said it wasn’t, do you update products frequently? It was 9 elements (Bobby approved on short video 👎 on app)

I wish you had covered the Baramundi on sale, I tried it and liked it but I'm not sure how healthy it is compared to other fish. I generally prefer white fish to salmon, so usually grab cod. The Baramundi is a good deal and tasty but I wish I knew more.

Hi Bobby, FYI apparently EVOO IS A CORROSIVE, over time the plastic from the bottle can get into the oil,when I get it home I put it in a large glass canning jar and PRESTO all better ❤😊
NO PYREX PLEASE!!! We had a similar style set of Pyrex bowls . One of the Bowls separated from its rim fell to floor and splintered into very dangerous shards. Sliced my thumb from the jagged rim had to go get stitches . ALL Pyrex is made with TEMPERED GLASS Not Borosilicate glass which is shatter proof lime soda glass . But Pyrex sold to insta pot and all Pyrex (lower case letters) are made in china. They explode in the oven. They cut corners and were sued recently for advertising made in the USA when it’s really made in china. That’s why these sets are so cheap and in Costco and sams club. Buyer beware!!! Look it up online!

Oil supplied on nano particle plastic containers! you get some of them elsewhere at a less price also without added any additives and even in organically produced on a glass bottle. Ginger and lemon water you can make at home for less than 10 cents, why need pasteurized salt water. and caffeinated processed powder for what?

California olive oil is THE BEST and has good traceability. Go American, go CA olive oil. Sustainably farmed, low carbon footprint that imported from halfway around the world cannot claim.

I just downloaded the app. That's genius. It takes away lot of time and guesswork. I have to go to Costco tomorrow, I hope the sale is still on, I want that lemonade. I have been doing this in baby steps because I have a husband who doesn't understand gut health and anti-inflammatory food. And believe me, he needs it as do I. My biggest issue is ice cream. Wish I could find something that doesn't taste so terrible and doesn't leave me feeling deprived. Have to look into making my own.
Depending on your dietary needs you can make an easy homemade version. We avoid soy like the plague at our home and also only consume organic dairy. We mix one pint heavy whipping cream with one can sweetened condensed milk with some vanilla and whip in kitchen aid then freeze. Very decadent sweet treat for once in a while.

They just don't have that many healthy items. It's a lot of junk food at Sam's. You have to really look to find clean items. Costco has way more in the way of healthy food and keep bringing in newer items.
Does smoked salmon freeze well for saving?
Yes
I just found a package 8n my freezer that had been there over a year! Hubby threw it on the grill, after thawing in the fridge overnight, and it was delicious! The package was vacuum sealed so there was no freezer burn at all.

yeah avocado is going to be your best bet oil wise, or any animal fat if you can get it in a large enough amount
Yep, avocado oil because it won't break down like olive oil so it's best for high heat cooking
