Thanks to the magnetic clamp the vice makes work much easier and faster. The electromagnet is strong and can withstand the overloads that occur during with ease. For the construction I used two electromagnets from the comopressor of a car air-conditioning system, a make the electromagnets more powerful I had to grind down a out one milimetra of the top surface of the electromagnets. I connected them in parallel and supplied them with 12 V DC.
I love it, free style vice clamping, no more Tee bolts or swerving the table around. Thank you.
A great use of easily found magnetic parts. Thanks for posting.
Thank you 😁
Well done! From a number of your videos, I have already incorporated a number of your ideas in my own applications, though admittedly, not as good nearly as yours. But, they're definitely improving as a direct result from watching what you've made. Keep up the great work! Seriously, thank you for sharing!
Thank you 😁
What kind of car did you get the magnets out of
Brilliant idea and fantastic build. The only design change I would make it to have a press button, and put it on the top button, so that turning it on doesn't nudge it out of place.
From Paul Howard Hello from Oregon.Beautiful job on the vice love the fast travel on the drill press
Thank you :)
What an awesome idea. Great job building it.
Incredible in form and function.Old style craftsmanship with current tools. Technical thanks
o cara bombardeia a gente com 500 técnicas diferentes sendo usadas de forma tão primorosa... sensacional. Parabéns!
Awesome build! Tacking parts together to drill perfectly aligned holes without lots of measuring seems genius! I had no idea you could get such powerful magnets out of car AC motors! I will have to look into this!! Hole saw at 13:21 looked red hot!! now wire that power supply to the motor on the drill so that when you turn the drill on, the vise locks, and when you turn the drill back off it releases!
the electromagnets come from the A / C compressor clutch and are powered by DC from 12 V, and I also supplied it with such current

Thank you :) I wish you much health :)
Love this idea!!!!!!!!
Thanks buddy :)
Very cool as always boys
you both should do a collab video: building the ultimate Hydraulic Pneumatic Electromagnetic Vice ! haha
Kozak pomysł. Też sobie zrobię;). Że wcześniej takiego czegoś nie widziałem.
Such a cool build, great idea
Thank you :)
Top ficou muito eficiente 👏👏
I WOULD HAVE NEVER THOUGHT USING THE COMPRESSOR MAGNETS...GREAT IDEA BROTHER..
Thank you :) Such magnets are strong, and for such a vise for drilling their strength is sufficient :)
Nice....a vice that can hold and grip at the same time, excellent.....
Thank you 😁
nicely done man nicely done!
Dobry sprzęcik i eleganckie wykonanie 👏👏👏👍👍
Dziękuje :)
Excellent project!! I Like the idea.
Thank you :)
I wish you would add some subtitles about the material used and/or where you found certain things;i.e., the magnets, the cylinders used for the all thread, aluminum or steel, ya know just some need to know stuff. Thanks. And keep up the great work!
Thank you :) used metal plates 8 mm thick, 10 x 50 mm flat rods, 20 x 40 mm square rod, 20 mm trapezoidal screw and round nut, magnets removed from the air conditioning compressors remaining after the previous car connected in parallel, 12 V DC power supply A. When I am at home, I will make accurate measurements because I don't remember at the moment
Superowa robota pozdrawiam z Australi
That is freakin awesome!!!!!
Excelent work👍!
Thank you :)
Señor, es Usted un genio!!😃😃
BRAVO MAESTRO!!!
Man if you had a lathe and a milling machine you would be unstoppable. Great video, keep'um coming. You made a hillbillys day.
Premium Clamp! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Added. One of the better channels like that alongside Made in Poland and ExtremeMake
Dziękuję 😁 Pozdrawiam
Ótima idéia.
Brilliant!!!
Love the hydraulic vice, (work smart not hard).👍
swietny pomysl z tym elektromegnesem
awsome work
Thank you :)
Que chulada exelente excelente
Хорошая идея .
I think I've watched every video you've made. excellent as always. I was wondering if you design & fabricate as you go or are you following plans for these builds? If you create plans for some of these projects, I'd venture to say you could make some money selling them. I'd be interested in quite a few of the plans, specifically the 2 x 72 Belt Grinder and the adjustable Drill Press table. This is my favorite channel on You Tube. Best regards.
That’s pretty damn solid dude
Good idea. I wonder if it would hold for slot and milling cutters? Might be an idea to put a thin sheet of plastic under the magnet to make it easier to remove steel and iron shavings and dust. I guess they would build up into a messy pile.
I love your builds and I will be incorporating a number of the ideas in my own shop. The quality of this build is no different, but what is the application of this vise ? What type of projects will you be using it on ?
This is really great! Super craftsmanship. Can you provide any info on the table lift?
nice vice !
Fantastic video
Thank you:)
Man what a say,,......🤔 is really amazing 👍,,,,,,,,bravo👏👏👏........
Thank you :)
this is really good
Thank you :)
Perfect welding
I am a big fan of those video excellent jod
I’m sooooo going to make one ❤️💪🏼👍🏻!!!!
You're doing great! You need a lathe, even better if you find a relic to be restored, it would be an amazing content to share!!
Thank you :) dream of a lathe, but I still have many obstacles to have such a lathe, the biggest obstacle is the place, which in my workshop is lack and costs. But I will definitely try to overcome these obstacles :)
@@WorkshopFromScratch i did overcame logistics by getting a Bv21 lathe, a small but sturdy china import, later i added a Cortini H75 a mini lathe but really well made, I believe this one is something like 40 yrs old. You seem to have great crafting skills, that's why I thought a lathe would serve you well
DOBRA ROBOTA ! ! ! Pozdrawiam PP. GOOD JOB !!! ;) Regards PP.
Good bit of work
Thank you :)
Your skills and ingenuity are awesome! Can we know the metals/alloys you are using? And the welding stats and settings?
Thank you :) I used ordinary black steel, which I thoroughly sanded and finally waxed to prevent corrosion. I welded everything with the TIG method with a 120-140A current, but everything can be welded by any method, I just love to weld with this method :)
Круто!!! Нет слов.
Another nice build! I need one of these vices for my shop! Question: What is the cutting solution you use at your drill press? I'd love to see a video on how you set that up.
Nice! I just viewed your video for the drill press table build! You make dreams come true! 😁
Thank you 😁
Just perfect.congrads
Thank you :)
Very nice!
Thank you :)
Oh I need this.
Отличная самоделка можно поставить на поток
świetne imadło 👍👍👍
Frumoasa lucrarea si practica
LOVE THIS! I would epoxy in a 5mm LED above the switch on the horizontal surface and grind it flush. I would also put a lipo battery in it, eventually.
Bravissimo. Molto interessante
Grazie :)
Good one !
Muinto bacana gostei muito bem feito
Bravo!
Very nice design
Very nice. You should've half hinged the top threaded bushing to be able to lift it up and push the vice closed. Then tighten it down by a quick turn.
Thank you :) Very nice idea maybe in some project I will use it :)
Very smart idea
good idea thank you
