  • The ending is poetic, the knight gets the chance to hit the game winner after 400 years of being completely exposed to the impending pawn capture but anuraj has other plans, and blunders the rook, giving a last chance to the knight to deliver check mate, that doesn't happen and instead like a medieval soldier just missed his last sword stroke, the black king gets checkmated himself. This game is an attestment to the human capability to fuck up and keep fucking up until there is no more up to fuck. The most beautiful rendition of chess I've witnessed, thank you Michael and Anuraj

The amazing game that white had played so far, black hanging all their pieces, and then the unknown tension as two 400-rated players stared into each others' eyes, deciding to agree to reveal their true inner 400s to the world, as Levy built up his commentary to a crescendo of unprecedented height, and black playing the BRILLIANT ROOK TAK- ?!!! • I love these videos for the simple fact that every time you think it couldn't possibly get more chaotic, it does 🤣 and the worst part is that I KNOW my own games were probably about this bad when I was 400 elo

  • The best part of being 400 rated is that when you make a blunder your opponent is just as terrible as you are and has a 50:50 chance they won't see it

  • What a wild game, I saw that knight not being taken and slowly black was creating a tangled net around the king, amazing that white actually kept that checkmate at bay for so long.
