Not likely. HBCU can't complete with Alabama, Texas, USC, and Ohio State financially or in terms of viewership. The top schools pour hundreds of millions into their programs to provide their players with state-of-the-art facilities, a staff that includes full time nutritionists and strength coaches, and national television audiences on ESPN, ABC, CBS and FOX. The top recruits won't want to take 7 hour bus rides to road games when all the Power 5 programs can fly them to their road games. Which top athletes would want to play in front of a crowd of 15,000 when you can play before 110,000 at the Big House?

Coach Prime needs to replace the offensive line coach and coordinator - with the dudes he's brought in they should be running the score up. The offense is too sloppy at times. The defense is legit and now JSU needs an offense to match them next season

They can go to the FCS playoffs as FAMU did so this year. Jackson State would've made it but the SWAC hosting a conference championship on the same day as the opening round conflicts with the FCS playoffs schedule, not to mention the winner of the SWAC and MEAC is legally obligated to play in the Celebration Bowl at least until 2026
