It's basically the complete opposite of what you would actually be facing from real pass rushers in-game.

  • Um… Arch Manning’s development needs to be STUDIED! This is NOT the same kid from last year’s Spring Game. My word!!!! Good for him. His release is quicker, more compact, and the ball comes out strong. His pocket awareness is Quinn Ewers-esque. His arm seems stronger and more accurate. He threw dime after dime and stole small yardage away with his legs. I argued with a lot of people about how Arch needed to Redshirt his freshman year, how he shouldn’t even sniff the game field until Year 2 if not Year 3, and this is why. His development gives Texas one of the best, if not the best, QB rooms in all of CFB. He played lights out today from the first to last snap, and it wasn’t even him stealing open throws after a defender “sacked” him. His pocket presence had that DL fighting to get near him, and he was delivering dimes ALL game. Good for him! Good for Sark! Good for Texas!!!

    • We might get to see a significant amount of Arch in a few games where Texas possibly puts the game away early... (of course we probably won't be seeing much of that in the SEC... considering Texas really didn't put that many games away last year in the Big 12.... which is strange considering most of the big 12 was rebuilding and weaker than usual.... and the only contender they played all season was their only loss... and of course it was by their much despised rival... the rival that got robbed by their own in-state little brother, from playing Texas again in the Conference Championship... and the rival who also left the conference with them...) Or maybe we might see Arch play if Ewers is down, or sucking. Either way... it's better to let him learn more, than it is to throw him into the fire. Especially since Texas is playing in a new conference, where they are not used to playing any of those teams on a yearly basis (in a while at least) and not only that, the teams will be stronger. It's going to be a pretty questionable year for the horns... but they are finally starting to grow... My poor Sooners have to start at ground zero again. Literally RIGHT after showing major improvement from the year before.... and right before they join the richest conference in the NCAA 😂 I predict a rough year coming up, maybe even two... but I think my boys will be back. I just might have to put up with a lot of sh*t talk until then. 😂😂😂😂

    • That’s why y’all won’t be your best this season. Ewers is not better. I watched my huskies dismantle Texas. You can’t just do seniority, it’s about level of play at the end of the season. Ewers is at his peak short of nfl play, manning is barely getting started and is a comp. At seasons end he may be better if he gets all the starts.
