Good question. Maybe for quick photos without opening the app? And they could also make it mappable. So we have an extra button to use as we please? I dunno. 🤷🏻♂️

iPad Pro's main selling point for me is FaceTime. It's so much nicer having FaceTime authentication vs passcode/Touch ID. The monitors really need to be faster than 60hz for their price point. I feel like there has been basically no meaning fun Apple Watch Updates since Series 6.

How about a product of any sort that Has cameras at appropriate eye separation distances for realistic, high quality, 3-D photography and videography now. We May not be able to afford a Vision Pro at the moment, but in the future, the best way to view memories etc will be in 3-D Immersive vision. Capture now, watch it later - maybe much later?
How about a camera that gets over 48 MP hahahahahah. They've been using the same camera on the last 3 models, while the S24 U is up to 200 MP. The S21 Ultra was at 108 MP.

APPLE Engineers have left APPLE and it shows. I use a iPhone SE2020 and it's constantly dropping out and glitching especially when talking to Androids. It won't upgrade past IOS 17.0 and none of the Tech influencer's use APPLE . I think it's the end of the road for APPLE .Google pixel 8 beat them for best smartphone of the year at WBC .

Apple needs to stop making these phones bigger. Contrary to popular belief, the 12 mini and 13 mini has a surprisingly large niche following. I know because working for AppleCare tech support, I ask every single person that has a mini device why they bought it and won’t buy a larger device. The answer is almost always the same: IT FITS IN MY POCKET! The other answer is that they’ve got small hands or literally “dont want a big phone.” Maybe don’t roll it out as a standard but a special edition device. Make less of them than the other models intentionally so they’re not just wasting materials. Hell, maybe even make them to order! You want a mini, sure we’ll make you one and you’ll get it in a couple weeks. Idk now I’m just spitballing lol. BRING BACK THE MINI!

Despite what you may believe, Apple is not the government. You list geopolitical & economic challenges the US is facing, and criticize a tech company for not… What exactly is your advice to one of the most successful tech companies of all time? I sure don’t think they are above criticism, but just because you use big words to staple Apple to your “things are bad all over“ general assessment (which is more or less accurate), doesn’t mean the two things go together. Should they not make the Vision Pro in your perfect world? Should they make a bunch of cheap garbage? Should they make expensive stuff and give it away in your world? I respect your opinion & you, but I don’t think your take is very insightful. ¯\\\_(ツ)\_/¯

Looks like I won’t be buying any Apple devices this year that have the M series chips because of the huge hardware chip vulnerability that can’t be patched. This is a huge problem and Apple should recall every device and fix it or issue a refund. Expect lawsuits to follow.
Two things though: First, the vulnerability requires the attacker having physical access to the machine. Second, the hardware feature that causes the vulnerability can be turned off on M3 chips (but not on M1/M2).

@@cobrabtc Well, I read it somewhere. For what it's worth. If you're really concerned, better check it yourself. But the vulnerability relies on some VERY roundabout ways to coax information out of the CPU, so I thought it sounded likely to be true. Some news article about it left me with the impression this is basically an issue for those who have sensitive information on an encrypted drive on a computer an adversary might access physically. That doesn't apply to me, so I tuned out at that point.
@@mikael.wilhelm it concerns me because I read it’s not difficult to inject bad code into an app. And if I have crypto or other banking assets or encrypted docs on my computer…. This is not good news. The only mitigation from what I read relies on the developers to change their code. Nothing Apple can do. So this is a no go for me.
You said it in this video, the iPad is a consumption device because the operating system and applications just aren’t good enough and this is why Apple don’t sell a lot of them to people like me who buy everything. I have the pre-M1 iPad Pro and I want to take it travelling, to do bits and bobs, but it’s just painful so I won’t be buying another one.
